Finally! Didn't work for me either - the skyrimprefs in the main game folder already had it and still nothing. Then I added the string to the one in my games directory, still nothing. Here's what I changed to make it work: Notice that in main directory the bEnableFileSelection=1 is preceded by the [Launcher]string. Well, at first I tried copying both of them into my games directory, to look exactly like the first ini. What made it work is that I only copied bEnableFileSelection=1 to fit below the already existing [Launcher] bShowAllResolutions=1 uLastAspectRatio=1 strings (didn't add anything more). That fixed it - really weird but whatever floats your boat Bethesda. xD Thaaaaank you. I thought it was supposed to be greyed because we were expected to wait for the Mod Manager, but your idea got it going. thanks. :D

So, I want to make a mod for a friend of mine to help her both get into the Dark Brotherhood without senslessly murdering someone AND add a bit of backstory to the vanilla game. Basically I wanna make a quest where, when you step out of the prison, it add s a quest called "Avenging Life" [Name to be changed accordingly; I just made it up on the spot like 5 minutes ago.] that points you to Ramaline in Bravil as your target. I just want it to be simple, start when you leave the sewers, end when she dies, but all the tutorials I've found explain how to make a quest that starts by TALKING to someone. I want a trigger, not an NPC. To be clear, I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO MAKE THIS FOR ME. I WANNA DO IT MYSELF. I'd jsut like if someone who's good at scripting could teach me how to do this. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to do or edit or make it for me, to make it possible for you to have Dog, Christine and Dean all at once [During Dead Money] and possibly also Follows-Chalk, Waking-Cloud and Joshua Graham [when the time comes] all at once [Only during Honest Hearts]?
