  1. Ok? I literally posted I have uninstalled it but thanks.
  2. I installed them with NMM but did not use LOOT to organise them. I know Unofficial Patch Plus hasn't been updated since 2018 but I'm pretty certain it still works as intended, unless I am mistaken. I have uninstalled Unofficial Patch Plus just to be safe. I've been following this guide (https://www.sinitargaming.com/nv.html). In the stability section it says to download this mod. Also I am using version 11.9 for YUP.
  3. Thanks, I've deleted the unused .esp files from /data. I have the UIO mod installed from here (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57174?tab=files&file_id=1000057546) which I don't think has a plugin .esp? I might be wrong. Here: https://i.imgur.com/Yjgjqn2.png Here's my new load order below - I forgot to add New Vegas Bounties I and III and The Inheritance Quest, and some radio station mods. Could you please give it a glance over to see if there are any glaring errors which may break the game? I haven't used LOOT to organise the mods, it is a manual order. Maybe it's best using LOOT and posting the results here?
  4. Hi all, I've installed some mods following Sinitar's stability section and am ready to play New Vegas. I've been testing the game for 10 minutes at a time and so far it seems good so I'm ready to begin a modded playthrough. Could somebody please check my load order and just tell me if there are any obvious errors before I go ahead and start a playthrough? I've followed the stability section best of my ability and think it will be ok but am just concerned about any patches/load order errors I may have missed. I haven't installed Project Nevada EVE/WXE patches as I am not fussed about the visual effects when using EVE weapons, despite how it may look. And I don't think not installing either of these patches will result in a game-breaking setup. Would appreciate somebody giving it a look over. Many thanks!
  5. It says not to use if I am using DLC : "Installs a fake version of the games for windows live dll Prevents fallout from loading the real xlive.dll at all, and enables some extra code patching options that require disabling g4wl's hash checkingImproves program startup time, and possibly fpsDo not use if you use DLC or want achievementsAdditional code patching options can be accessed by clicking 'settings'The save games associated with g4wl profiles can still be accessed by clicking settings and using an offline profile" I'm guessing you installed it and it worked lol. Ok, I will install it. Thanks!

  7. No. You DO NOT Clean any game held BY STEAM..EVER. Tamper with steam files breaks them. Your free to do anything you want to mod's, just leave steam files alone. steam files can change without notice. This is not about "LOOT". This is not even about that type of modding. This is simply about freezing. I actually think I've fixed it. I've played for about an hour without any sort of freeze. It was actually NMC's texture pack causing the freezes. I've resorted my load order with FOMM as you suggested which unfortunately still caused me to freeze so I tried uninstalling NMC and the freezing has stopped. Thanks a lot! I've also been playing around with the different file packs for NMC (performance, lite, maximum etc.). I had "maximum" which was the initial file I had and this was causing freezes. I am also using the 4gb patch, LAA, .ini edits etc. but this does not help. Using the "performance" pack seems to work but I'll play a bit longer with this pack to see if it causes any freezes. If it does, I'll do the same test run with the "lite" pack. If that freezes too I can just uninstall NMC altogether as the hour-playthrough I did was without NMC mods and it did not freeze once. Thanks all for your help - I appreciate it. I just ran your saved game on raw default, no mods at all and it runs smooth as silk, could handle fat man gone crazy, traversed through doors and exteriors to interiors. Could.nt find any issues with your code at all. I'm glad the code at least works. I've had one freeze (Fallout 3 has stopped working) in a two-hour playthrough after downgrading NMC from maximum to performance pack. I'm glad I can finally play the game now so I would say this issue has (finally and thankfully) been resolved. Thanks a lot friend.

  9. I appreciate your help but I am not using LOOT to sort my load order. My load order matches the FWE page. I am not even using LOOT often, only to check if it gives me any errors. My load order has been manually sorted. Fallout 3 isn't crashing, it's literally just freezing and states "Fallout 3 has stopped working". I'm not sure how to fix it because it's doing it without mods too and I've tried all the stuff I can think of - .ini patches, 4gb, LAA etc. Please provide me with the latest saved game file. Allow me to inspect the software. Wow, if you don't mind that'd be great. Here you go. https://filebin.net/vsa26vxdw3veo0s4 I can get through maybe 5-15 minutes of playing before it freezes and states Fallout 3 has stopped working. It doesn't seem to be for any particular reason as it's done it after entering an interior, during combat, just roaming around etc. I am using Windows 10 and I have installed the 4gb patch, LAA and most of the other stuff to allow it to run on Windows 10. I don't know if it's my mods causing the freezing or the game itself. I actually suspect it's the game itself because it says Fallout 3 has stopped working after freezing, rather than immediately crashing to the desktop and LOOT isn't giving me any indicators that any of my mods are conflicting. I used FO3Edit to clean all of the DLC .esms as they had ITMs etc. The only warning LOOT gives is that the Unofficial patch has 2 undeleted nav meshes although I'm not quite sure this would be causing the game to freeze. FYI, the latest Load Order is this: GameMode=Fallout3 Fallout3.esm=1Anchorage.esm=1ThePitt.esm=1BrokenSteel.esm=1PointLookout.esm=1Zeta.esm=1Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm=1CALIBR.esm=1Project Beauty.esm=1EVE.esm=1Mothership Crew.esm=1Alton, IL.esm=1CRAFT.esm=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm=1Project Beauty- Broken Steel.esp=1Project Beauty- Point Lookout.esp=1AltonAddon.esp=1GNR Enhanced.esp=1Conelrad 640-1240.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esp=1Chems and Meds Re-Textures Pack.esp=1Flora Overhaul.esp=1dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp=1teslaPA -retextured.esp=1WeaponModKits.esp=1WeaponModKits - FWE Master Release.esp=1Realistic Interior Lighting.esp=1Realistic Interior Lighting - OA.esp=1Realistic Interior Lighting - PL.esp=1HZSmoothLight - FO3.esp=1UPP - Pack 1.esp=1UPP - Pack 2.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Broken Steel.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Point Lookout.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers (automatics only).esp=1Blackened FWE + EVE + Project Beauty.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Anchorage.esp=1UndergroundHideout.esp=1F3ProjectRealityMkI.esp=1WeaponModKits - BrokenSteel.esp=1Realistic Interior Lighting - BS.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC The Pitt.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Mothership Zeta.esp=1WeaponModKits - OperationAnchorage.esp=1WeaponModKits - ThePitt.esp=1WeaponModKits - Zeta.esp=1WeaponModKits - PointLookout.esp=1CASM.esp=1Merged Patch.esp=1

  11. I've done everything I can possibly think of. Changing .ini settings, using the 4gb patch, the LAA, stutter remover, NVAC etc. but it just decides to freeze randomly typically when I press E to go through a door, but it's done it sometimes when I'm walking the wasteland. Still freezing randomly, doesn't appear to be in any particular area. I'm not even convinced it is my mods now because that'd likely just CTD and that's not happening. LOOT isn't giving me any errors other the unofficial patch has 2 deleted nav mesh files, although this shouldn't cause freezing, but cause a crash instead I think. https://i.imgur.com/bzXmTo5.png & https://i.imgur.com/DVFIpd5.png
  12. The unused plugins like URWENB.esp, optional restore tracers and alternate travel are not active but I will also delete them from my data folder too. I have FOSE installed without any issues and the game runs for about 10-15 minutes before randomly freezing and saying Fallout 3 has stopped working. I have Steam version and it's installed in my F: drive. F: > Steam
  13. C Could you take a look at this load order please? I've been sure to only use one of the Optional Restore Tracers .esp now. I've done a complete reinstall of Fallout 3 and I'm not using MMM anymore - I'm just using Project Beauty, EVE and FWE. The majority of my mods aren't script-editing mods; they're texture mods like NMC textures, terrain, clutter etc. I have followed the load order best I could from the FWE page on NMM (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/2761?tab=description) GameMode=Fallout3 Fallout3.esm=1Anchorage.esm=1ThePitt.esm=1BrokenSteel.esm=1PointLookout.esm=1Zeta.esm=1CRAFT.esm=1CALIBR.esm=1Project Beauty.esm=1Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm=1Alton, IL.esm=1EVE.esm=1Mothership Crew.esm=1StreetLights.esm=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Alternate Travel.esp=0Project Beauty- Broken Steel.esp=1Project Beauty- Point Lookout.esp=1AltonAddon.esp=1GNR Enhanced.esp=1Conelrad 640-1240.esp=1Chems and Meds Re-Textures Pack.esp=1Flora Overhaul.esp=1dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp=1teslaPA -retextured.esp=1F3ProjectRealityMkI.esp=1UndergroundHideout.esp=1BetterGamePerformance.esp=1Realistic Interior Lighting.esp=1Realistic Interior Lighting - OA.esp=1Realistic Interior Lighting - BS.esp=1Realistic Interior Lighting - PL.esp=1HZSmoothLight - FO3.esp=1UPP - Pack 1.esp=1UPP - Pack 2.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Anchorage.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC The Pitt.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Broken Steel.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Point Lookout.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Mothership Zeta.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers.esp=0FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers (automatics only).esp=1WeaponModKits.esp=1WeaponModKits - FWE Master Release.esp=1WeaponModKits - OperationAnchorage.esp=1WeaponModKits - ThePitt.esp=1WeaponModKits - BrokenSteel.esp=1WeaponModKits - PointLookout.esp=1WeaponModKits - Zeta.esp=1Blackened FWE + EVE + Project Beauty.esp=1URWLENB-002-Interiors.esp=0
