Skyrim patch downloading right NOW (pc)
LadyAubrie replied to SHO3LACE's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well eff this. There's no way I'm downloading this patch (I've had it running in offline mode since I got it). I paid a lot for this game, and I use a lot of mods to make it pretty. Bethesda, I will NOT let you make my game ugly again! After waiting in line for an hour or two for the midnight release and buying it *with* the guide, I should be able to play it how I want, not how *you* want. >.< -
I'm a thane of Solitude, and Jordis was promised to me, but she didn't show up. So I consoled her in, she joined me, and everything was fine. But I let her go once, telling her to go back to the house. She was like "alright, I'll go home," and proceeded to wander out of town to the west. Where's she going? Is she bugged somehow? Can I never let her leave my side for risk I'll never see her again?

+1 Bonus: I have no idea how complicated this will be, but an extension to the mod that allows the option to quickly and easily change your followers' and spouse's outfits. :)

Yes, please. :) +1

LE Replacing Skyrims windows with see through glass
LadyAubrie replied to Thor.'s topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
If I'm not mistaken, it was Immersive Interiors (installed by itself) that made the windows all frosty...not quite see-all-the-way-through but you could see a little bit. Whatever the mod was, it didn't have a ton of other dependencies, so it should be easy once everything comes out, I'd think... +1 -
I'd like to see this done too. I'd actually like to see a big variety of maps come out; lots of 2d ones, like Oblivion, and lots of variations on the existing map. Squishee, this may help you (though I've heard it's still glitchy for some): http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=145

Personally, I'd rather wait on Burberry....;-) PaladinRider, I'm anxious to see what you do. You seem to be good at these kinds of mods. ^.^

The way I understand it is (and to quote someone else in another thread on the same topic) - 'not necessarily'. I read somewhere that Bethesda couldn't do anything legally when Morroblivion was made, but then again I don't know if it was finished. I could be wrong, but for some nagging reason this seems legally possible to me - if for no other reason than that you aren't taking another company's intellectual property...it's all the same company, same franchise. Assuming that it *is* possible, let me throw my voice in and say that I'd love to see this. I've been thinking about this exact idea since I got Skyrim, but I was afraid to say anything. Whether it's revisiting old Oblivion in the time after the death of Uriel Septim or getting to see TES V era Cyrodiil, it doesn't matter to me. I'd be ridiculously excited to see this happen, and I'd happily spend countless hours enjoying this undoubtedly huge mod. :)

I'm totally on with the musket/flintlock pistol idea...I'd mod a stovepipe hat and make a witch-hunter character. ;-) But that's as far as I'd want to go with guns in this very fantasy universe...the guns would have to suck, too...a good archer could load and fire three shots in the time it took the fastest pistoleer to load and fire one, and the shot might only do as much damage as a well-placed crossbow bolt. I think if one wanted to go any further with guns, I'd suggest that the Fallout universe may be a better place to try...it already has all the gun mechanics in place in the engine. ^.^

I'm having the same problem. What you have to do is go into the console and type "help Jordis 0" and get her Ref ID. Once you have it, type: "player.placeatme [ref ID] 1" and that should put her next to you. In my game, I told her to go home and she wandered out of town to the west. I have no idea where she's going but I think she's bugged. :(

Yes! Another bump for this mod. :) I'd like it best if children were optional. And please, if not courtship, add affection and possibly romance. Vanilla marriages are a little...cold. I'd like to see them warmer. And gorgeous wedding dresses. Please. :) Though I'm predicting a cottage industry among modders for wedding dresses... Consider this another voice in support of a marriage mod! <3

Agreed!

Post your prospective ideas for DLC.
LadyAubrie replied to pulseoflight's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Marriage Options. I'd easily buy a DLC that was specifically for marriage - more dialogue from current spouses (I want Muiri to say more to me! I want her to be more interactive. :) ) and possibly more spouse options. Marriage is one of the things I love most about Skyrim - it was a fantastic idea from Bethesda. Now I want to see it more detailed! -
It says "script command 'speedmult' not found" - it was probably just my imagination, but it seemed almost faster after I put it in the first time, what you suggested I type. But now it doesn't feel much different, no matter what I type. Hmm. So...this command works for you?
-
Awesome! It works like a charm...thank you so much, Keyser! :) -kudos given-
-
I like it, too. :) My first impression of Skyrim was that it was way, way too desaturated...almost black and white. What version of FXAA are you using? I tried downloading your file and it made my game crash. Maybe I have the wrong version...

While it might be sort of difficult to predict what kind of DLC's Beth will release for Skyrim, does anyone imagine they'll flesh out religion more, like they did with Knights of the Nine? I for one would love to see a more cleric-related faction, since we have factions for mages, warriors, thieves, and assassins. What do you think? Would you like to see this? Do you think we'll see anything like it?
-
Oh, boy....I hope and pray that changing a companion's appearance isn't some big Blender project every time. That would be such a headache. >.>
-
Hmm..."speedmult" is defying me. >.< It's saying that it's not recognized. I'm typing it like this: "speedmult 2.0 %" Has anyone had any luck with this particular cheat?
-
It works! Great workaround...thank you! :) Lydia is so warm and sweet....it's making me re-think my marriage to the somewhat less affectionate Muiri. :)
-
I married Muiri too...I thought she'd be a good companion for my mage chick. <3 But...I keep hearing about this "lover's embrace" thing or whatever it's called, where you sleep next to them and get bonuses. But she never sleeps! And I've read in places that you're supposed to be able to make any spouse a follower/companion...but I know at least with Muiri, you can't. I feel cheated! Is this a glitch, or do some spouses actually not have these options (sleep next to you, follow, etc) ??

Well played, friend! :D Well played, indeed. I'd like to borrow that one. ;-)

I was happy to help...thank you for the credit! :)

What *I* would be all about is a rideable dragon mount, with all the benefits! (fire breathing, etc)
