  1. I have to agree. Probably my favorite aspect of TW2 is the realism of the choices you face. Its different to play an RPG where it's not 'Hero' path or 'Villain' path, but instead you have to decide between evils at every turn. I especially like the way they constructed the characters of Roche & Iorveth. In the first game, I found it difficult to justify siding with the Scoi'tael (kinda came across as terrorists satisfying a petty need for revenge); in TW2 however, Iorveth had the charisma and conviction to tempt me to follow his path. All in all, superb game, kudos RED.
  2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that RED developed the game for PC, then only decided to release it for consoles after they saw the reception on PC... I may have just gotten a wrong impression, but that is just me. I've played both 1 & 2, and to me, they are two brilliant games in two (slightly) different formats, both in the same fictional universe. I love both games, regardless of the path the development team went down.
  3. Oh, ok, i understand now :) Thanks Thandal
  4. Firstly: I must be very wrong here but i though that when an employee creates an asset for a company (eg GSC) that the asset belonged to the company, not the employee, because they are being paid to develop it for the company. Seeing as everyone is saying stuff to the contrary, i must be wrong. What exactly are the propriety laws (just a short overview) for software assets? Secondly: I applaud GSC for this statement, its good to see that they seem to be in the business to create games that people enjoy to play for the sake of enjoyment, instead of just to turn as much profit as possible. They make great games and I sincerely wish them every success in the future.
  5. Also, awesome avatar...
