  1. Is this what you are looking for? https://www.tesreloaded.com/Public/Mod/Mod.aspx?IDMod=1
  2. I had this problem many years ago. Try turning off the anti-aliasing in the Oblivion options at launch. That worked for me. The fact that you have a new pc so a new install is the clue!
  3. I'd guess that it is the progress.esm. I use realistic levelling and also have that percentage progress on my skills page. I would try first reinstalling the progress mod, also if you use mopy (Wryebash) then run Loot and rebuild your bash patch. Make sure that all your saves as listed in wryebash are green (not pink) then load your game. If that does not help, you could ditch the mod progress. I checked the nexus page for progress and it is not supported anymore. Depending on how far along you are in the game, you could replace it with some other levelling mod. As a second shot, do you have TES4edit? That is a useful tool for looking a conflicts and weird stuff. Takes ages trawling through it though. Hope you get it sorted. How are you getting along with Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul? I like the creatures it introduces but don't know how to join the legion yet. I am at the beginning of this play through but will be leaving Oblivion once BG3 early access comes out Good luck!
  4. Just started a new game using the GOG version and heavily modded (Bevilex's mod list). plus others When I entered Vindasel, I encountered 2 named NPCs, Agrippina Harsinia (ff007bca) and Desnia Springrun (ffoocc5d) who were pretty hostile. I got their ref IDs by entering the console and clicking on them. I would like to know if they are involved in a quest added by a mod, so I checked xedit. Could not find either of them anywhere. I checked Oblivion Uncut and Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul. I'm stumped. Does anyone know how I can find out which mod added Agrippina Harsinia and Desnia Springrun? Thank you in advance!
  5. Thank you for your beautiful mods! I always stop and take a close up look at your signs. Very much appreciated, you guys who make Skyrim so beautiful!
  6. Thanks for the reply! I actually have the answer: Emberwakes No Scum mod!. The Bitter Coast swamps pools are lovely swirly, reflecting, transparent and WET! Yes, it is an awesome game. And the amazing mods make you want to play it again...! All the best!!
  7. IM MEEN. supposed to teach kids grammar and spelling. Loved it. Anyone else heard of it? Then straight onto Tomb Raider, Baldur's Gate
  8. I am playing the GOG version of Morrowind with MGSO, Morrowind Rebirth and Tamriel rebuilt. All works fine and the game looks amazing!!! (Thank you modders!!) But after few days of playing, the sky would show up looking blocky (you can see the square patches making up the sky). I think I have solved this by installing Skies IV, (not fully tested yet because I have only been running this for about a day) but at the same time the pools of water in the Bitter Coast region go a solid green - no more lovely transparent swirling water... I don't even know where to start looking for a solution. Up till now, I have been solving the problem by uninstalling everything and reinstalling the whole game and all the mods, but I am hoping someone will be able to show me permanent fix. I am playing in compatibility mode and running as administrator, (doing that has solved a lot of other small issues). I am using Windows 7, 64 bit Can anyone help...please? Has anyone else had this problem? Any (polite) suggestions will be gratefully received. Thanks!!
  9. In response to post #27772820. #27773245, #27785260, #27787150, #27827605, #27828245, #27828875, #27833980, #27837490, #27840175 are all replies on the same post. I hope that's not true! I am a female gamer and certainly hope that game developers don't think we're a minority. I started gaming with Tomb Raider (I think Doom was a big game at that time and I remember thinking "ugh!") But with the Baldur's Gate series and then The Elder Scrolls, I've never thought that women were not catered for in the gaming world and I hope that continues. I wanted to say that maybe women don't mod as much as men do but I've download (and loved) a lot of mods created by women. A big thank you to them all (and the men modders!) who have enhanced and extended the lives of our much loved games! BTW sorry I missed this survey. I only log in occasionally and did not see a notice about a survey.
  10. I have no objection to paying for mods. Some mods are so brilliant the authors deserve something for their hard work and dedication. In fact, the "endorse" system is a bit weak - I want to be able to tell the modders how brilliantly fantastic they have made my gaming experience. (eg Skyfall Estate in Skyrim. Rose Red Manor in Oblivion, to mention just two out of many, many....) But I object to how Steam (and to lesser extent, Bethesda) have climbed on the money bandwagon. My big fear is that as the big boys on the block they will win out to the detriment of modders, gamers and the Nexus community. We're watching this one with bated breathe!
  11. Hi everyone Thanks very much for the replies. I did check my Skyrim folder and yes, all the mods were there. Reynard131's suggestion got things going. I went back to steam and updated everything. The big problem was that I bought the original game when it first came out, and recently bought the Legendary edition, but didn't put in the box code to activate it. Doh! All working perfectly now and I'm in Skyrim heaven. Thank you very very much! :D
  12. Would someone please help with this problem. I have recently bought the disk version of Skyrim Legendary edition and wanted to play the game again this time using mods from Nexus instead of the Steam subscription service (I wanted the Skyrim Unofficial Patch). While game was installing, it said it was installing from disk I used Nexus Mod Manager to download some mods, activated the mods.... Then, when I try to launch the game, I just get the Bethesda logo then desktop. I checked the data files at launch and this is all I have on the load list: Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp ApachiiHair.esm EnhancedLightandFX.esp RiverwoodEnhancedPlugin.esp Etc. Why don't I have Skyrim.esm Update.esm on that list? How do I get those two (crucial) file on that list? BTW: nothing wrong with the disk. If I uncheck ALL the mods, I can load the game no problem. But the whole point is I want the Unofficial Skyrim Patch (and the other mods) Thank you very much for your help. I feel this is a stupid question probably dealt with elsewhere, but I'm desperate!!
