  1. This has been a thing since the game and looksmenu mods were a thing. Probably just best to unequip your gear, position camera, then go console and use 'showlooksmenu player 1'
  2. No Fallout 5 Bethesda needs to take steps back and reevaluate their own approach... Firstly with the god awful engine, but secondly revamping what it means to make an RPG, their RPGs have been stale since FO3, and their Engine is just a recoded version of Gamebryo which was used as early as Oblivion. Use/Create a new/better engine - would be a priority, even if it takes 10 years to do it.
  3. In response to post #45051570. #45055660 is also a reply to the same post. no one is taking away credit from the developer, hence why images taken in this manner in a way of game photography aka screen archery is a way to show off a game in a new perspective, each photographer has their own style same applies to game photography. Personally I despise Journey and Inside because they try to push style and art to the foreground while sacrificing the core factors that makes a game memorable aside from what is in the visuals.
  4. The idea of cutting off infinite spawns is down to core game balacing, if a mod to change the limit was made and used it would ruin the developers vision of how to game is meant to be played, in reference to core gameplay.
  5. its not a client issue its something boris needs to fix... I'm testing workarounds but its code issue
  6. All mods will work with an SKSE launch setup.
  7. In my case I still have the GTX 560... and I plan to upgrade in less than a year, and the GS 800 was an emergency upgrade... due to s*** prices in Australia I got the GS 800 on special and was actually considering the TX650 but I was thinking of future proofing for more powerful upgrades, mainly thinking of the GPU in that case.
  8. There is one good ending... and it does not involve the wish granter. I won't spoil anything but play through the entire game again and pay attention to your quest log and make sure to complete as many secondary quests as possible. Games like this get rated poorly by critics because simply ... its not dumbed down. reminds me of dark souls and how that game mixes with console casual gamers... no offence :/
  9. Fictional take on Chernobyl... because Stalker 2 got cancelled haha probably won't ever happen
  10. Why not try, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion Then again don't try it if you don't like 4x space rts games ;)
  11. On that note... (keep in mind GPU is a GTX 560 Non-TI 1GB GDDR5) Before CPU Upgrade: Skyrim with a heavy ENB mod on launcher preset LOW = 10-20 fps After CPU Upgrade: Skyrim with same ENB mod on launcher preset ULTRA = 50-120 fps I bought a Intel Q8200 back in 2008 and it lasted me for sometime UP UNTIL all the games started to be ported from console to PC, recently bought a new motherboard, 2x4gb of ram and an Intel i7-4770K stock clock setting.... difference in Skyrim and other games was AMAZING
  12. The only good paid MMO out there. I only played for a month because I wanted to try later not having the funds to continue... but if you have facination about scifi and you don't mind hitting a brick wall learning curve then bloody play it cause it's the best
  13. Ahhhh... Windows 8, I tried installing that for the first time on my brand new upgraded computer and new SSD... 10 MINUTES LATER I REINSTALLED WINDOWS 7 In that time NMM worked for me aswell... did you try going to desktop mode using a browser other than IE and install it as if you were on Win7/Vista or XP And installing mods manually isn't that hard and you can always learn to use Wrye Bash, although it is for Intermidiate to Expert users it is hell of a better option compared to Manual and NMM. (just NMM is quicker and nastier imho)
  14. Go with that motherboard, I have a cheaper Gigabyte in that series and mine had some issues (due to a faullty PSU) but having the DualBIOS helped so very much. And a note on the power supply, more power is ALWAYS better... it will save you money on future upgrades (or emergency upgrades) Although I have never heard of Raidmax, if you spend a little extra on the PSU you could get the Corsair GS-800v2 800w cause corsair is such a sick brand xD
  15. Even if you end up getting DDR3 at a slow speed, it would be best advised.. I was on DDR2 up until 3 weeks ago, and it basically isn't really sold at most places anymore (very rare actuallly in Australia to find it in an actual PC part store retail/online)
  16. I would suggest any Intel Z87 Chipset motherboard over $150 USD and a new CPU upgrade (highly recommend the i7-4770K a beast at overclocking) By that time, and the state of 90% of the games to come to PC (probs ported from console), a 770/780 or 860/870 for example will be all you need... A good CPU is important for many games that are on the market or coming out and of course Physx and CUDA are important... I would only say get ATI/AMD if you are running 3 or 6 monitors with crossfire cards :P
  17. thanks for the open beta. excellent job making this :)
  18. Most 23" monitors these days would have a resolution of 1600x900, 1680x1050, 1920x1080 or 1920x1200. Oblivion supports all these resolutions, so I'd say Skyrim will support it also, so no worries.
