  1. The official 4gb patch has never worked for me, but I could never figure out why. When ever i run the 4gb exe It just pops up that error. The normal Skyrim works just fine. I bought the game on steam. Windows 7 64bit and my steam folder is not in my program files. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be great. Thanks :biggrin:
  2. I think it is searchable, like a item I tried that in the object window and didnt find anything, Im sure its somewhere obvious though :confused:
  3. Yeah it just says you should add a map marker, I was like okay but where do i find one of those lol
  4. So Im doing the level design tutorials, but I skipped to the last one to add it to the world for easier testing. But every time in the ck it is fine, links to both doors and works, but in game it takes me to blackness. When I load the ck back up my whole level I designed is gone. Does anyone know why this would be? also where do I find mapmarkers to add to the world? it isnt clear at all from the tutorial. Link to the tutorial I was looking at: http://www.creationk...al_World_Hookup now it erased the outside area(well back to vanilla)? redid it again and just the door is left but atleast it links to the dungeon though some of the dungeon is missing. Tried it about 5 times and each time part of it gets dissappeared, I definatly save each time, under something new and deselect old versions. Thanks :)

  6. I get that same error aswell, my windows are fine though i can resize all I want, but i cant move objects just rotate them :/, hopefully im just dumb and its something simple.

  9. this patch is awesome so far, whiterun is at a solid 35fps compared to the 15-20 previously :)
  10. Try the Oblivion, Fallout 3, or Fallout New Vegas kit's and check out that scripting language. This one will be based heavily on that, with changes to syntax. I would say so, yes, since I did relatively easily. Yeah I will have to look into that when I have time, I did use the geck and construction kit alittle be never played with scripts. Making maps just always has seemed more fun lol
  11. Looking at that picture,it doesn't look like they changed much. If anything its just more Java like than it was before. On a interesting note, judging from the comments in that script that appears to be part of the Butterfly Script. True, it doesn't look too different, but one thing I notice already is the absence of "set" in order to define values, which is a godsend. Also apparently, looking at a different screenshot (below), you can now have loops! That alone just makes me cry of joy. Before you had to use the Script Extender, so im glad this functionality has been addressed and implemented. Do you think that I should be able to pic up their scripting pretty easily? The only other game scripting I have done is for pokemon rom hacks. Reminds me a lot of NWScript, which is a good thing. Say what you will about the game, but the modding tools are quite powerful there. Yay, we have objects?! This should dramatically cut down on OMG CODE REUSE scenarios. Looking at the syntax, perhaps we even have recursion? That could be fun... Talking as someone who has used TESScript for several years, I say that they changed it dramatically. (External code management using your own IDE, for one. I smell an Eclipse or NetBeans plugin in the not too far off future, which should be interesting). so I have had about 4 yearsish of programming in school, I know Java, basic, and C#(XNA). Do you think that I should be able to pick up their scripting pretty easily? The only other game scripting I have done was for pokemon rom hacks.

  13. Its not 100 its 1000, if you look on the bottom damage rating not the one in the middle it will show the actual damage, I have a bow that does 6000 through a glitch it shows up 600 unless you look at the bottom of the screen where it says 6000

Well if you care to "cheat" you can use Elys Uncapper, and it lets you change the amount by which your skills grow, So i did it by 3x and Pickpocket went up a lot quicker, it was nice help. http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1175 also you can pickpocket bandits, if you dont wanna be a bad guy.

  16. Tranquilty Lane was my favorite Fallout quest, It technically could be done without you killing anyone, but i think every one dies anyway before you leave. And you clicked on gnomes and bottles in a certain sequence with fun noises to do end it lol
  17. If your going to get permission, why dont you go all the way and try to get them to let you use their old maps ffrom oblivion?

  21. Considering this was actually a reaction to Breaking Dawn, it would be much much better if this was her reaction to skyrim, and less sad. Yet this is still one of the funniest things ive seen lol
  22. Also, as inline with this question, do dragons infinitly respond? and after the game?
  23. Can we have a mod for this? complete with a dragon shout to super seiyen? then double fire spell for kamehameha?
