  1. just tried to install Fus Ro Bork and xVASynth, didn't work. the install and the instructions are clumsy and the implementation of needing another app running to have tts - when in oldrim there was a mod that handled it built in isn't really tenable. i'd rather have ms sam read my books if it meant just having a straightforward implementation.
  2. looks like that's exactly what happened, explains the can't find mods list bug at nmm's startup after recent updates. zip and rar files are ignored or can't be read, and i'm wasting an hour converting old mods to .7z so they can reappear and be used in nmm. please tell us this stuff devs, or better yet fix it. two thirds of the mods hosted on your site AREN'T 7zip
  3. i get the same, and increasingly with skyrim se mods. if i manually download them and try to add them the same errors. if i extract them then recompress them to 7zip i can then add them, but the nexus links are lost. what the hecks going on nmm devs, have you disabled adding mods compressed as zip and rar or some arbitrary limitation? this is wasting a lot of people's time and a lot of your bandwidth.
  4. i also have this problem.. you can set links to not expire, why is this not so. and why do connections expire.
  5. guys, why do you have an expiring invite system, i was on for an hour then the server disappeared. if you want to push this into the future and replace irc you need to work this smarter, or at least explain to people how to get a new invite to get back on.
  6. i have solved it guys after much process of elimination. the culprit was 'realistic thunder sounds' released by ne0n on workshop. unsubscribing yay thought i'd better leave this here for anyone else with similar issues HUZZAH!
  7. i am running beta 1.7, using workshop mods exclusively and using boss to sort load order. i was wondering if anyone else had this, i can almost consistently get a ctd when using the shout. i tried some other shouts and they are fine, which leads me to think its a physics crash. but i really dont know, of all the mods i have installed none of them affect shouts or physics, and whether i shout into open air (shouldn't physically affect any world objects) or at something, the ctd is instant. from searching google some of the fixes have been 'alter sample rates on soundcard to 24bit44khz' but this was for all shouts and loud noises in skyrim, and up til now i have never had crashes related to that, plus i play the game on 3 different systems, all are ctd'ing atm. here is my boss log to define the mods i am using: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/58483366/docs/BOSSlog.html tia, i wanna get back to running around picking flowers again.
