That stopped the geck from crashing but my hats are all still going sideways. Very frustrating, it must be something simple I've cocked up... Kebabyuchenko xxx

Oh, and if I try to add the hat or helmet to an NPC in the geck, the geck crashes. Kebabyuchenko xxx

Every time I reskin a hat or a helmet, they always sit sideways on the characters head. Anyone have any ideas what is causing this? I edit the .dds file in photoshop, then mess with the .nif in nifskope, then create the item with the geck. Every single time, except for power armour helmets. Kebabyuchenko xxx

Well, it only took six hours, but I re-skinned one set of Armour last night having learned how to use nifskope, photoshop and parts of the G.E.C.K I'd never used before. I only need to make 21 more outfits, then I can begin work on the proper mod! How would I go about using an item from Vegas, re-skinning it and plonking it in FO3? Kebabyuchenko xxx

I couldn't find anything to help me, so I thought I'd ask here. I am trying to re-skin the combat armor and merc grunt outfits, but I have absolutely zero experience doing this. I have Photoshop and nifskope installed - ready to go. Are there any noob-friendly tutorials out there? Kebabyuchenko xxx

It's okay, I was being a moron. I hadn't selected anything as an active file. I shall be back to modding after an appropriate duration of self-flaggelation. Kebabyuchenko xxx

I'm having a major problem. EVERY time I save, the CK tells me that the file is in use, so I either create a new save or over-write a different previous save. Then, NONE of the stuff I've created and saved in "newsave" (for example) appears in the game. It also doesn't appear if I load in that specific data file. The only way to get all my stuff to re-appear in the CK is if I load multiple data files of my previous saved stuff. Am I just being a *censored* or is there a way round this very frustrating problem? Thanks in advance, Kebabyuchenko xxx

I'm running the Open Cities mod and as a result, there is no main gate to go through in Anvil, meaning I can't start the Golden Chrest quest. Can anyone tell me where the AI door is in Anvil or give me any other way of starting this quest? Thanks in advance. Kebabyuchenko xxx
