  1. Oh wow, what. I've been tearing my hair out dealing with those accursed white shadows for the past few weeks now, tweaking my INI files and all. I never thought to look at Imaginator. Thank you very much for taking the time to post the fix. Top notch, mate.
  2. I want 10 rings. Those fingers aren't gonna cozy themselves up. Or 20 with feet included.
  3. I'm vouching for this idea.
  4. Haha. That's both a clever and a funny idea. All those mead ought to end up somewhere. Bring on the fat Jarls!
  5. I'm not sure whether we have this one yet, but perhaps a mod enabling the player to loot any follower empty? Something [vaguely] similar to the one FO3 and FNV had: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34912 Followers often contain hidden items that can only be accessed through tinkering with the console. It gets annoying when I take all their items and either a bow or a dagger gets left behind.
  6. You don't need to do anything with the .dll files. Just make sure that: The nvse_loader.exe and 3 of the .dll files are on the main directory(and not in the Data folder). You have the latest version of NVSE. Get it from: http://nvse.silverlock.org/ Your copy of New Vegas is updated to the latest version(1.4.0.525). Other than that, try running NVSE with administrator rights(right-click>run as administrator). Also, if you're playing the German no-gore version of NV, it is not compatible with NVSE.
  7. Did you drop the NVSE loader + the .dll files that came with it in your Fallout: New Vegas directory? This is usually located in your Program Files folder, under: Steam\SteamApps\Common\Fallout New Vegas\ Do so if you haven't already. It needs to be there to work. Test it out again and let me know how it goes.
  8. Alright. Is that the only method? I was talking more about being able to fully customize the face mesh, as seen here: Now that isn't exactly the look that I have in mind, but it looks to me that somewhere along the process, meshing was involved to make them. That is the part that I wanna get into. I just need a certain workflow that will allow me to get it in-game. I tinkered with the race creation on G.E.C.K., but I wasn't sure what to do next, any help with that would be appreciated. I know I'm not being very clear, but I hope you get what I'm saying. I'm pretty lost with which questions to ask myself. I feel like this is very simple, I just don't know where to start. I will keep testing out methods for the meantime.
  9. Alright, I'm asking it here because for the life of me, I cannot find a guide anywhere. :psyduck: I'm not sure if it is possible, but how do I go about making a custom face and getting it into the game? Say I wanna create a celebrity character? I wanna see how different it is compared to TS3, since I made celebrity mods for that game. I saw head meshes on my FNV directory, can I do anything with them? Will they come out right if I meshed them or will the game change it according to race? Can I use facegen for FNV? What are those .tri and .egm that came with the head meshes? I'm sorry if I have a lot of questions. I figured I'd take my chance on it rather than keep silent. I just wanna get the gist of face meshing and I will figure out the rest. Please guide me to the right path, my senior noble modders.
  10. No. All you need to do now is eat tomatoes. ;) Edited on maximum for DrakenGuard.
  11. You are a scholar. Thank you.
  12. No sound plays. Fixed it. Thank you. For those who couldn't get it to work, try checking if your playlist links from ANY. Seems that I'm stupid enough to miss that part of the tut. Everything is alright now.
  13. I might be wrong but I think that requires a re-meshing of the armor itself - to fit it around the body model. While I have meshed for other games, I have yet to find an updated tutorial for New Vegas meshing. I can't you help you out but perhaps a thread-bump until an experienced modder arrives will do.
  14. I need a quick and updated summarization of New Vegas armor meshing. I have scoured the Wiki but every tutorial seems to follow an outdated workflow. I'm cool with either 3ds Max or Blender. But which plugins? Do I still need nifskope? If anyone could lend a couple of minutes to type it out. Links to tutorials will do just as fine. I know how to work my way around meshing and texturing, I just need a quick step-by-step how-to.
  15. Horses are possible if a modder was to create it from scratch. That means no porting from TES4 Oblivion or any other game. That way there will be no copyright issues. It's just as possible as a motorcycle mod made from scratch, which already exists. The same goes for shields. So long as it's a separate function and not a replacement of anything. Although it will require some heavy coding. Animations are not a problem as you can simply grab free animation files from Google or create your own. For a horse mod, you will need: A horse mesh(time-taking process), texture and skeleton. Basic control equations, animations and several containers. The shield is harder to create per se, because you will really need to mess with the game's mechanics. But other than that, mesh, texture, animations and you're good.
  16. I've seen the running mod a couple of times, but mostly just a sped up version of the default jogging animation. But the motorcycle, could you link me? Sorry I'm not really up to date with mods. :( The game engine doesn't allow us to change the running animations on the fly, so "sped-up jogging" is as good as it's going to get on that front. You can grab the motorcycle mod here. I believe it's the third result if you Google the words New Vegas motorcycle. Thank you to the both of you. Will definitely download this. As for the running mod, is it really not possible? How about a seperate function rather than replacing the game's default animation?

  18. The first one would be a Motorcycle Mod. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My second idea is a Running Mod. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  19. No problem. This should be a lot easier since I used to mod big time for The Sims 3, so I should be able to handle it. Once again, thank you very much for all the help!
  20. Thank you so much. :psyduck: It worked! There was however, a little clipping that happened. Nothing big, just a couple of spots is all. Is there a way I could resize the hair mesh through GECK? Or do I need to go download a 3D modelling program?
