Having difficulty with SUM patcher and Mod Organizer

Thanks for the reply! I just reinstalled Perkus Maximus within Mod Organizer, and now it started functioning correctly. Although, I did also set the memory to 1000 instead -
I just had an issue after I installed the latest Perkus Maximus(and it's fix) with SUM. I get this exception: There was an exception thrown during program execution : 'java.lang.NullPointerException'This happens once SUM is on PatchusMaximus. Where specifically, it was left on "Task: Ingredients and Potions." Patchus Maximus is the last patch to go, for what it's worth. The skyproc pathcers I currently run are: Perkus Maximus(Meaning, Patchus Maximus), ASIS, and Dual Sheath Redux. I have Java 8 Update 25(though I do run both the 32 and 64 bit versions), and I set every skyproc patcher, including sum, to point towards the 32bit javaw in Mod Organizer I have tried to allocate the memory size of 2048(I currently run 8gb of ram) to SUM, but to no avail. I set it to not use LOOT as I have a specific mod order I don't want to be messed up. Hey guys, so I went ahead and bought the cx600, seeing the reviews and thought, well this looks really nice. Now I went to give a second look and saw that this actually blew up on some people... I have a gtx 980 with an inte i5 4690k, needless to say, I'm willing to go ahead and buy another psu if it means protecting these two. Should I remained concerned at all and if so, what power supply do you guys recommend for my build? I'm hoping Amazon allows returns and refunds if I have to return this psu. I did buy straight from corsair.

I just got a gtx 980 and was wondering if, in case I ever wanted to go sli, would an i5-4690k bottleneck that idea? Also, where could I pick up cheap windows, and can I just install it via usb? I saw sites that are selling windows 7 for around 60 bucks but they say download only, I'm not sure whether that is safe or not...

Indeed, I am one of those people who need hialgo and enboost :P But I noticed a setting in hialgo's ini file that said "enb mode", do I have to enable that specifically for enboost?

I'm getting tired of these fps spikes, particularly in undead burg. While they fix themselves rather quickly, that doesn't stop the game from prompting me that my "framerate is insufficient for online play". This only happens when I use dsfix and unlock the fps, even if I limit it to 30 fps instead of 60 or 58, but NEVER happens when I just leave it locked, even though it's at a worse performance, at a steady 15.... I want to be able to set the draw distance for my game lower, I know that I'll at least get some performance boost out of that. Is there any mod out there currently that fixes this issue?

When I unlock the fps for Dark souls, I get a problem where random places in the game(usually where a lot of the map is exposed and viewable) spikes my fps, to the point where the game goes into slow motion(like, the real slow motion that is accompanied by the game itself that is sometimes used in boss fights)... Then the game will tell me I have "insufficient fps for online play" and kick me to offline mode. HOWEVER, this never happens when I simply leave the fps locked, even when I still get those fps lag spikes anyways. I'd be fine with leaving my fps locked, but for some reason the game locks my game at 15 fps... I have vsync turned off, no AA, tried with motion blur off, I tried having the game upscaled from 800x600, even 640x400 at one point... I even had the unlocked fps set to be limited to 30 fps, still having the prompt telling me I have "insufficient fps", even though when it's locked it NEVER tells me despite having worse performance. I would also like to add the fact that when I do experience this fps lag, it fixes itself sometime between a moment's notice to 10 seconds in the game. It never remains there, none of them do.

So I've been interested in an Antilion Modmic for some time, but I wanted my stuff to remain wireless, and though I would just wait until they push a wireless product out, I'm not sure if both a wireless headset AND a wireless mic will be a good idea... Is there a good wireless headset out there that comes with a mic jack on it? I assume there's not much but I'm hoping for one.

I want a mod like this because the particles and clouds on the floor and whatnot take up a lot of fps, and while it's nice when I install a mod that completely removes all that, it kills the mood of the environment that it was placed in, at least for me... Can someone make a mod that alters the fog so they don't take up TOO much resources, as a happy medium? Or is there a similar mod already out there?

Hm, thanks for bringing back my interest in it. I'm actually trying to see how we can apply the bashing feature to dual wield parrying mod, but I was having second thoughts about it if everyone thought that it's overpowered or whatever(which, I would say I beg to differ, considering I still get my ass kicked even while I'm bashing enemies, but that's just my opinion). Unfortunately, to this day I still don't know how Skyrim combat mechanics work, and I don't think anybody does looking in the creation kit wiki... There's only a few mentions of states, but that's it. -
Let's say, you're on legendary difficulty, and you added mods like duel combat realism 7 and ultimate combat together, etc. Do you believe that spellswords/battlemages should be able to bash with their sword just like any melee character? Does this make things too op for the player?

Hi, I am a battlemage, I wield a sword right hand and spell left hand, how do I set skyui grouping so that when I press a hotkey I set for the spell, it will equip and unequip my spell SPECIFICALLY FOR THE LEFT HAND. That means, no going to the right hand and replacing my sword with another spell when I press the hotkey again. I want pressing the hotkey to mean unequip the spell on the left hand.

How to convert skse psc files into skse plugins?

Compiling? That's not even the hardest part I don't think :P But no, it has to do with actually performing bashing and blocking within the game, specifically for dual wielders, spellswords/battlemages, and the like, though it is not my mod I'm trying to improve on someone else's(with their consent of course). I just feel that papyrus is far too inefficient to handle all that, and would like to try my hand at an actual skse plugin. I tried scriptdragon, so it's not entirely new to me, but I felt that scriptdragon was pretty limited(it has one guy maintaining it last I remember, so props for him and his api). If possible and when I have time after, I would also like to make video guides out there for people in the future, so that it opens up a lot of skse to potential modders. :) -
In "archive builds" in their site though I think you will have to find the skse version that corresponds with 1.9.29.0. http://skse.silverlock.org/

Does anyone have any guides on making skse dll plugins? Also, I am interested in converting psc files that use skse into skse .dll plugins, can anyone point me to the right direction? The mod itself has to do specifically with combat mechanics, blocking and bashing, and it makes use of skyui's mcm, that's it.

No no no, there's nothing holding me back from SKYUI, that's not what I'm talking about... I'm referring to WHERE can I find the ability to equip/unequip certain things via hotkey, but leave them in the SAME HAND :smile: (e.g. pushing your hotkeyed spell twice will make it dual wield, I want something to stop that from happening, and just allow me to unequip it when I press the hotkey).

I asked this in the mod detectives, of which someone kindly answered that it was probably a feature in the new sky ui. Well, after frustratingly fiddling with the new looking favorites menu, I give up, I'm not sure what to do here. What I exactly want is for my spell on my offhand, TO REMAIN on my offhand when I press the hotkey I assigned it to. Instead of dual wielding my spell when I press the hotkey again, I want it to unequip and keep my right hand intact. Is there a present mod that does this, or does the new SkyUi v4 have this and I'm missing something here?

Hi, I'm a little confused with the sounds of skyrim patches, specifically for Climates of Tamriel. For example, in the wilds SOS patch, do I activate both "SoS - The Wilds-PatchCoT.esp" AND "SoS - The Wilds-PatchCoTSounds.esp"??? If anyone's asking, I'm referring to Climates of Tamriel mod and Sounds of Skyrim mod.

Is there a mod out there that will specifically keep a hotkey not affecting your right or left hand? For example, if I'm a battlemage/spellsword, and I hotkey spells, is there a mod out there that will make it so these hotkeys will specifically equip and unequip these spells for my offhand, instead of removing my sword from my right hand when I try to press the same hotkey twice?

Well, I also assumed that the reproccer would also handle that, but I may just be ill-informed. Also, what about issues regarding wayfarer perks, do they work with the new monsters?

I've heard these two are compatible and perfectly fine, but can anyone confirm that for me, or is there already a patch out there for these two? Also, are there any issues with wayfarer perks and skyrim monster mod(yes, the nonpirated version by ironman if anyone's asking).

Stack thrashing will produce stack dumps in the Papyrus log, similar to the example below. The dumps can be very large if many scripts are running, producing a very large log file." This seems to be what was going on for me, stack thrashing, because anytime I would ever increase that value, my game would be horrendously unstable, and crash all over the place.
