colourwheel it is up to that person I frankly am VERY happy to be able to go onto the oblivion nexus and not see more skimpy sexy clothing, high heel or hgec sexy conversions. as for say a house with a single skimpy outfit, well that's up to the author to tag their content and the user to define what he does and doesn't what to see anyways thanks dark one this really makes nexus that much better

that DOES help in fact thanks to you guys the game is much better.... I still dont want to play without music so I guess I will have to tolerate some issues
-
Thanks for the advice unfortunately nothing seems to be helping it I have gotten the lag down but the game isn't running as smoothly as it used too maybe it is just my computer or the steam version idk.
-
yes I do I'll try steam offline , may be the problem. thanks for som advice, I never had this much trouble, I have fone from hdr 1280x1024 with almost everything on (save shadows) to 800x600 and barly able to support bloom which is frustrating.

okey since the offical forum was of no help I am asking here So I just got the game from steam but it is rather laggy compared to a retail copy I had awhile back. I tried lower setting tweaking ffdshow etc but to no avail. my system specs are Amd turion duel core rm-70 2 gh(rate at 3.20) nvidia 8200gm conexent smart audio 211 3 gb of ram low end I know but seeing as I JUST played the game week ago before my cd snapped and had no real lagging issues so why is the steam version acting up on me ? things I have done laa patch reduced settings tweaked ini restored to default ini removed sound codecs and to repeat I have played this game at 1280x 1024 with no real problem so PLEASE dont say it is my software it isnt.

actually ea and maxis are fine with spore being modded, they just dont support it i just got the game (late too the part I know but eh 19 on steam) and have found several mods for it, also there is a sdk for it (spore master tool)

I love old games and could care less about graphics for the most part, which is a good thing because I have alow end labtop that cant play a lot of games on high, so I end up playing a lot of games like arcanum, fallout 1 and 2, planescape, age of magic and others like it.

try this page on the official forum http://social.bioware.com/forum/Neverwinter-Nights-2/NwN-2-Custom-Content/-FAQ-on-custom-classes-spells-and-feats-Repost-3121008-1.htmlMy link its a lot of work, it would really help if the nexus wiki had tutorials for both neverwinter nights

thanks what I have been doing is basically manually painting each bones manually painting them to be similer to another armor, probably not the best but so far it has seemed to work
-
sounds good I noticed that fallouts weight painting is much simpler compared to say oblivion most parts are either weighted at 1 or 0 which seems easier to do then say morrowinds of oblivion. I definatly could be wrong Edit: and I was wrong sort of the bip 01 are painted with diffrent weights lord this is going to take awhile, oh well part of learning I guess

Hi so I have been working on a bit of a personal project (a converision actually) and am stuck as too how I should weight paint it, I am doing this project for new vegas and am wondering since it has a lot of spikes and such if I should make the extra detail seperate from the torso and arms or if I should weight paint them with the arms and torso. also is it alright if I weight the torso solid red ? I am rather new to this heh sorry if this made little sense. thanks for your time

saw this and signed in asp this is awesome I have been wanting the orignal fallout for awhile already have fallout2
-
hi this is my first humble suggestion, but may I suggest a place on the nexus wiki were we could have tutorials for both Neverwinter nights ? it would help if there was a central place for tutorials there and maybe more people would start moding the games again. I know I would  thanks for your time and sorry if this was the wrong place to post.

ah I see, I'm still a newbie to all this, I have no 3d modeling background except in what I have googled or read, luckly Iknow some stuff, things I know all objects go are labeled bip (i.e bip chest) and go under bip morrowind uses a segmented system,(i.e chest left upper arm, left lower arm, groin left upper leg, etc) you have to name all the piece like Left Clavicle right clavicle. the stock armor meshes were completly seperate files on with diffrent names to show what pieces they are like a_art_cuirass_XXX_c (c would be for curess) because everything is seperat when you are converting a mesh that combines all part ,such as porting a mod mesh from another gam (that isnt stock resources of course and with permission) it usuallly boils down to cutting everything up as I have found(but thats besides the point and this topic is not meant to be about importing other objects only about rigging for morrowind) anyways thanks for the info if you find any old tutorial would more then be happy about updating my op with the links to them

hi I,m looking for blender tutorials fo morrowind, I know that unlike other games it only uses base meshes an does not need havocing but I can not for the life of me find a tutorial on rigging armor to a skeleton, especially for better bodies so does anyone have one also other tutorial would nice (animations, partical effects, reflect mapping etc) would be nice, not just for me but anyone who still aspire to make stuff for morrowiind thanks in advance

Porting content from other games
thatsameguy replied to Dark0ne's topic in Formal Warnings, Bans and Takedowns
mind you importing weapons often times is easy (at least when it comes to nif files), armor on the other hand is far more complex and can be, depending on the model itself, a very difficult process , with permission I am currently working on a project to port a (od) armor from oblivion to morrowind I am being very careful to not use any stock assests. I'll be honest here it may be easier just to make youur own armor from scratch, which would have probably been easier in my case since morrowind uses a body system that consists of 14 different seperet body parts and oblivion uses about four, tha armor was built for oblivion in mind, and the both use very diffrent armatures basically go make your own stuff in blender, that way you will get the praise that is rightfully yours and not someone elses that you just happen to cut up, also you wont run into the chance of having used asset from another game -
Okey first off, I was given permission by cultbrain to "downgrade" his saurons armor chest to Morrowind, secondly as far as I can tell none of the meshes or textures are stock, and if any of them are, please let me know as I have no intentions of plagiarizing in any case I am trying to "downgrade" the mod I have blender nifskope and 3dsmax (although it is the student version and as such I cant redistribute anything I created on it it so I may just get gmax if needed) I know how to separate the mesh but I need help with the rigging does anyone know how to or at least can point me in the right direction to a tutorial on rigging armor meshes for morrowind ? thanks p.s I have already done the mace shame the armor is not as easy
