ok guys i never used steam because i never thought id need it so i never used the activation code i needed the patch and i sad oh ok then ill just look at the code but i cant find it and the person that cleans told me she threw it away a couple of weeks before i just wanted to play the game and i know the consequences from my lazynes :( so NO i never activated my game on steam before And if you never activated it on steam, then you could not have played it. unless you have a pirate version. is there a way to get skyrim 1.5 patch free but without using steam? i have my skyrim for pc and i installed a mod that needs that patch so i cant play it anymore please i really need that patch but i dont have an activation code because the person that cleans the house threw the box where it was away cus i kept my disk in a cd bag please i miss skyrim Banned for requesting pirated material. i dont really know what ugrids or .ini are :S i probably did it by accident can you explain to me what that is and to explain myself more my game crashes before i can load any saves ok when the menu that says: load, continue, new game etc is about to appear the game just exits i mean i cant load any saves because it crashes before i have any time to start If you are unsure of modifying .ini files and haven't done it, its unlikely to be the issue. yeah your probably right but im having a bit of problems finding the latest patch i know im sounding like a noob but do you know wich one it is? and yes my game is in offline mode, how do i change it to online?

yeah i tried unchecking all my mods but the same happened but ill try using the latest patch :)

thanks for the hood xlcr i was able to get it ok i see the problem now fms1 theres two aplications in the program files with the akatosh insignia wich are the Skyrim Launcher and TESV the skyrim launcher its the one that makes the launcher menu apear and the application called TESV makes it jump to the game menu so i remember that my skyrim launcher doesnt work for some reason i remember that my game graphics had a big problem so i did something to fix it that screwed up the launchar so only the TESV application works and jumps into the game when i try to activate the skyrim launcher an error window pops up saying nothing more that this Application load error 5:0000065434

alright thanks for the answer and yeah i ment the launcher menu i forgot the name :) just one more thing what is SKSE and how exacly do i get the launcher menu to show up i understand if you call me a noob by not knowing what SKSE means but bare with m

ok first i just wanted to know the base id for Cynric Endells hood to be able to use it on pc but the main thing here is that i cant see the start menu on skyrim it was never a problem cus i furst wanted to play the vanilla version before moding it but i have never been able to acces the first menu the one that says play game, data files uninstall etc i remember seeing an image of it being dragonborn looking at the mountains landscape but enough of that in summary my game when opened it jumps to the menu that has the akatosh insignia (skyrims logo) that says continue new game load game etc but i want to see the other menu to so i can access my data files and be able to activate mods please help

sorry i dont think i explained myself right the problems that im dealing with are some bugs in the thieves guild: i cant acces the heimskrs house because after the battle of white run the house was blocked by some destroyed pives of wood and tonilia wont give me the quest to deliver the moon sugar to the caravanas even when i finished three special jobs so what i need is how to use the console comands to teleport me inside hemiskrs house so i can complete the job i really dont want to quit it http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Heimskr%27s_House take a look at the bug in the url please help

hey ive never used console comands just becase they seemed a pain and i also wanted to play the vanilla version before modding it up but i ran in a big problem with the thieves guild where the quest Under new management doesnt appear after completing the thives guild main quest because i hadnt completed any special jobs so i need to know how to use the comand so im able to activate it and move on

so i ran up with the popular bug/glitch in the ratway where esbrn wont open the door nor talk and the subtitles would disapear in half a second(acatual timing) so i googled it and found a file with his voice i also found out if you get out and reenter that room twice the door will open but he still wont talk so back to the topic i downloaded that and put it in the data folder when i opened my save it still have that problem so i thought to my self it must be like a mod so i tried to open the launcher (because somehow the game starts without the launcher screen first) and some weird error window pops out saying: Aplication load error 5: 0000065434 so also googled thet and found in a topic i had to change a line in skyrim pref so i did that and nothing happened and thats how i ended up here so long story short i cant fix the esbrn glitch and dont have access to the launcher screen NOTE: just in case someone doesnt know what is the launcher screen or most likely it isnt called like that cus im assuming thats the name, its the screen where the options: play , options, data files, etc is, and i think theres dragonborn in sttuded armor and iron helm looking to the mountains if i can remember well Please help

well yeah now that skyrim is out it is iron armor the one that he wears in the demo and in the trailer he wears sttuded armor

hey im sorry i dint reply sooner but i solved that problem and no its not a pirate copy its an autentic copy (if thats how its called a normal copy) and the problem was the opacity i turned it up and im able to see them now thanks a lo smosh!!!!!!!!

alright since i started out there was no crosshair and no markers or notifications for example a cant know whats the name of an item, person, building etc when i stand in front of it it also when i find a new location or a new quest or a skill increase the drums and the song comes out but doesnt say anything i have to check my map or journal to find out and one more thing is that i cant see my health, magika and stamina the bars just wont show up i have to look in my inventory to see if im hurt or something so pretty much my screen (both 1 person and 3er person view) doesnt show anything (compass, health magika and stamina bars and notifications) so yeah pretty much i dont know what im grabing where im entering to who i talk with who i fight etc YES i did try turning them on in the settings i have all of them marked down but still nothing i really need help

sure it looks like it but is a bit to fantasy looking but i bet there will be although almost all weapons seem a lot like fantasy unlike oblivions(atleast from level 1 - 12 that is) but one thing that bugs me is that skyrim looks more primitive hat oblivion and its supposed to be 200 years of diference i just dont get that I think they were going for a viking type feel and the stereotypical viking looks pretty rough and primitive. Cyrodil might just be farther ahead than Skyrim by technology standards also. very good guess that does make a lot of sense thanks
