  1. I would have to have this in my own toolset (no, I don't want it - no time) to really troubleshoot.

Stages need to be used. VO needs to be done first and then then facial effects (the default is robovoice which takes longer). If using some of the animations, you have to confirm that the animation isn't longer than the spoken line; it won't proceed until the animation finishes - even if you don't see any movement. The list of possibilities goes on and on.

The player can always advance by hitting ESC, but it is a 'best practice' to have only one line before the player makes a choice. Yes, I have done this, multiple times, but this is the type of problem that you will encounter.

  2. With that as an example, no, you cannot do what you are asking.

Fragments of Ferelden is a new quest that involves someone other than your Grey Warden. It says:

n this module you play a young knight-errant forced to stand alone against a horde of Darkspawn in a very different vision of Ferelden.

So this isn't your grey warden and it isn't the standard Companions. You would have to literally rewrite the mod.

  3. You probably need a lot of thing and scripts are just one of them. There is usually a script associated with the module itself. It would be easier for you to start with something small/easy or at least reference which tutorial you are following

  4.

I'd love to see a Dwarven Rune Master, or a Dwarven Priest. That would be absolutely amazing.

The request seems to be for more talents or a new class; I don't think the All Origins is what is being requested.

  5. I don't know if any of this will impact the downloads, but a few "notes of interest" based on the pages that I read....

    • Multiple projects are (probably) spam, Bioware didn't always clean up projects that were advertisements
    • Multiple projects never had any files associated with them (abandoned, lost interest, didn't get the public acclaim that was expected, etc.)
    • The file download being greyed out means that the author didn't identify a main file; it doesn't mean that there aren't any files there.
    • Each project can have multiple downloadable files
    • 'published' means darn little. If I remember correctly, this feature was added after a number of the modders had already left. "planning" can mean that the mod author is still planning the mod or it can mean that the mod author was gone when the option was made available
    • Mod authors must choose to make a file accessible. Files that aren't published may be older versions of the files or may be 'not ready for prime time' files or might be from the 'old' BSN which would all restriction to a group of users.

I uploaded my 'finished' mods to Nexus, but kept my mods that were in development/testing on BSN because the BSN project pages had less traffic and it was easier to restrict access to testers. I may use DropBox (or something similar) for future development, I find it rather annoying on Nexus when a new file is shown as being added almost every day for some mods. (oops - got off topic)

Personally, I removed all published files from BSN and provided links to the upload on Nexus the last time that BSN was shutting everything down. The only files I have left on BSN are test versions; a number of mod authors did this - if they left anything on BSN.

I hope that explains some of what you were seeing during the downloads.

  6. I think if all these were combined it would be the perfect gay Alistair mod. Now... if I could just learn how to mod and do it myself... lol

I'm sorry, but this IS exactly what you will have to do. Combining all of those mods and uploading to Nexus would require permission from each mod author. Combining those mods on your own computer and NOT sharing it with others does not require permissions from the mod authors.

Or you might be able to find someone to create a mod from scratch that implements all of the concepts from the individual mods. (unlikely because it would be a lot of work, but it could happen) In which case, you want to put a request in the mod request section.

  7. 1. What they do mention is that it is some of the browsers that rename them regardless of what the mod author named the file. The mod author and Nexus do not have ANY control over the browzer changing the file extension.

    2. The specifics of the mod/gameplay can be discussed on the project page. The comments section for extra dog slot advise against having him in the party for Rescue Anora and Landsmeet. At least the comments were there a few years ago when I played the mod.
