  1. In response to post #55275203. Excuse me, while I roll my eyes at this white-knight.
  2. Eugh. It's not a good look imo. Best to leave it as it is. The new site is cluttered and not at all intuitive.
  3. Ack. I just hope it works more like NMM, not MO. I tried using MO for a long time with skyrim, but I never got to grips with it. It's not just difficult to use, but difficult to get to grips with too. Lets see how this pans out, however. Cautious optimism is the order of the day here.
  4. RIP headphone users! Ow! EDIT You know, that is nowhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be. Not bad at all! My only suggestion would be to add some more granular control over the "random" function i.e. have the site give a random set of mods from one or more categories rather than simply vomit up a random set from an entire game.
  5. Bah! The corruption just came back for me. Only the 1 thing so far (Pipers press cap of all things) though.
  6. Just found this thread. I've got a 280 that's throwing the exact symptoms. Windows 10, mildly modded install of fo4 and no overclocks at all. Tried validating my files with steam and drew a blank. Going to try a driver reinstall to see if that helps. EDIT After a driver uninstall, cleanup and reinstall, the corruption seems to have gone for now. Yay! < that's what I used to do the uninstall and clean up. I then reinstalled from the AMD website.
  7. Password totally forgotten, changing it. Again..
  8. Is it just me, or is NMM getting more and more awkward to use every few releases? I remember it being nice and simple UI wise, nothing frivolous (Categories in classic view, I'm looking at you!) and it just worked without annoying issues cropping up (duplication of mod entries since the intro of "readmes" into NMM, I'm looking at you!). Same goes for the site itself. It's great that it exists, but it doesn't feel quite as user friendly as it once did. It honestly feels like it was a change for the sake of change. If there was one change I would make in NMM if I could, I would add the ability to control what columns are displayed in the different views, so if I didn't want to see "install date" or "Category" in either view I would simply need to go into options, un-tick the relevant box and bang, it's done. That's my number one issue with NMM at the moment, column management. It is a pain in the proverbial backside! [not_quite_serious]But In the interests of those annoyingly cheerful "glass half full" types, [/not_quite_serious] I shall be grateful that this site even exists. You know, the fact that the site is around is the reason I even play Skyrim anymore!
  9. I'm in the same boat here. It normally picks up a bit after 30 seconds or so (going up to +- 200kb/s) but then sticks at that kind of speed. As far as I know there are no background downloads of any kind going on. If I get more than one download going through NMM, the other downloads will behave the same as the first, staying at around 200kb/s but no higher. As they finish, the others will all stay at 200kb/s.
