  1. Well anything with the promise of power is corrupting. For starting out perhaps thieves guild or that one quest from the argonian in solitude. The solitude quest actually fits pretty well as it seems like a simple little job only for it to get more complicated. Perhaps start there and head into the thieves guild after.
  2. To me it makes sense. Considering that everyone who spends enough time around him seems to want to kill him (advisers, wife, daughter), and considering the dovakin is probably the only person both competent and powerful enough to kill him he probably figures he's better off killing you first before you can kill him. Eliminate all threats and all.
  3. I think it more has to do with harkon not actually liking you and being a general jerk.(no suprise in skyrim). It would be an interesting concept for a mod, though it might be a bit hard to pull off since we can't make new dialogue.(atleast not any that fit well) As for the whole prophecy thing It could be a Harkon-"muhahaha the sun is gone." One day later Dovahkin- "we ran out of blood sir" Harkon- "damn it" That seems like a likely out come.(Harkon wasn't really the brightest villian)
  4. Think it's because they are pure blooded(daughters of cold harbor).
  5. If you kill her you break dawnguard, and will not be able to end the whole vampire problem. Your better off rolling with it until after the dawnguard questline.
  6. I've never had this but I'll give several suggestions. -reload a save before the training. Could be a script glitch or something. -try equipping it each time you shout. -uninstall any mods that effect unrelenting force. Could be a conflict. - Last resort use console to advance yourself past the quest. Not sure of the command myself, but you can probably find it.
  7. You have to delete skyrim from the directory. In my experience steam usually doesn't completely clean the directory out, so make sure there is no files left in the directory. For me it's program files(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/skyrim. As for the install, you can get it completely off steam if you preferred.
  8. you could do as above or go with the smart vampire hunter instead of the rage driven one. I mean she's offering to lead you straight to their lair, it's the perfect opportunity to strike. That's how I would think of it.
  9. I've heard of two armors. A leaf armor hardened with hist sap and a lizard scale armor. As far as I know argonians use light armor as black marsh isn't the kind of environment someone in plate would be able to maneuver in, so anything light and flexible would be in the argonians style.
  10. there are no half breeds in TES. All mixed races takes the mothers race. Nonetheless it is actually lore friendly as there are plenty of human like khajit sub species. It could fit fine under one of them. @l0latu perhaps one of these. I figure it isn't exactly what your looking for, but it's the closest ones I currently know of. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22989 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6461 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20627 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29883
  11. I could probably do this. I'll post a link when finished.
  12. Pretty sure you aren't allowed to port over from oblivion. I have seen several mods attempt to recreate the creatures however.
  13. don't think this is at all practical. He or she would have to fix landscapes, meshes, actors, and navmesh he could probably actually make the world bigger by adding towns and other lands with the same amount of time. It isn't as simple as shrinking the items, since everything is designed with their scale in mind.
  14. No think he means any hints to what's next. Haven't checked myself.
  15. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6085 there are a few others that do this as well, but can't recall them right now.
  16. what if your dunmer comes from elsweyer and doesn't know anything of morrowind? Beth really can't take everything into consideration, and if they just flat out assumed things people would also complain (perhaps even more.) Haven't gotten into dragonborn myself yet since I'm messing around with a few mods, than have to replay though the main and dawnguard before dragonborn, so not sure yet.
  17. But oblivions legion did wear skirts, just they also had pants. Really a few edits to the original armor should oblivionify it. Chain mail, perhaps a shorter skirt, full gauntlets and an open version of the hoplite helmet. If your lucky though, perhaps you'll get an experienced modeler.
  18. have you tried warzones? Not exactly a town full of imperials, but adds a lot of large imperial vs stormcloak battles.
  19. looks great so far. Can't wait to see your final product.
  20. Think the main problem is animating. Most modes use preexisting skeletons to make their creature, but some of the dinosaurs would need completely new models. You could probably find a t-rex resource somewhere on the internet that could be used, but you wouldn't have a working animation for it. That's really the main problem, and from what I've seen most modders avoid animating like the plague. It's pretty rare to find animations, and this might even need an entire skeleton and scripting for it to behave correctly.
  21. A lot of that mod looks really cool. Thank you. One problems is that it's filled with a bunch of filler creatures though. I agree with GendunDrup. Mostly what bothers me are those dragon things. Suppose I could remove them myself though.
  22. actually the Hagraven model looks EXTREMELY similar to the Winged Twilight model from Morrowind. Skyrim may not have a lot of Daedra but they have lots of creatures with models that could be easily remodeled into Daedra. Falmer can be scamps, Herne and Morphoids. Hagravens can be Hunger, Winged Twilight and Vermai. Vampire Lords can be Xivilai and Aurorans. Someone has already made a Golden Saint mod plus Dark Seducers are just recolors of Golden Saints anyway. Spiders can be Spider Daedra like in Oblivion how they used the Spider Daedra model for Spiders. Werewolves can be Daedroths and Clannfear. Knights of Order can be any NPC race. Orgrims, have no good model for them but Trolls could work. Hellhounds would obviously use the wolf model. Fire Daemons could use the Dwarven Centurion model. If the CS worked on my computer, I would make all of these. I was more thinking in the fact they can fly and already had a good start for wings, but I suppose a hagraven would work as well though I think it looks less feminine than the female vampire lord. AS fot Aurorans and Xivilai, think they should be NPC's as well. Large reskined demora for Xivilai and armor for Aurorans. On a side note do you have the skills to model the daedra and rig them? If you do than I probably could get them in game for you since your CK doesn't work.
  23. I was thinking that the vampire lord would make a good base for the winged twilight. Replace the head, modify the body and add some new wings and it would probably work well.
  24. There are people who don't care for them, but I personally enjoy them. The one thing that bothers me is when they decide to eat the local blacksmith,
