  1. Hi all, I recently downloaded the BAE opener and wanted to retexture the pictures you can build for your settlements to something besides lighthouses and kittens. I was wondering if anyone knew which texture BS2 they were under and there file paths in that BS2? any help would be appreciated. Thanks all.

  3. Have you gone through gophers video series on modding FNV? He has an entire video on game stability that would be worth looking at, its a little long, but it's a wealth of information.

So awhile ago there was a mod on the nexus for the XM-8 Assault Rifle for FNV, but it used Parts from another mod that was removed, Don't remember this one, so I was wondering if someone would be willing to make a new one, as far as I can tell there isn't one on the nexus and if someone wanted to maker it you'd earn a kudos from me for sure, if you need references or are interested just lemmie know.   7. all right, so im ready to throw this one out to the community, for some reason when I hit X in the weapons menu to mod my gun's, it causes the gun to be dropped as though I had right clicked it, clearly something is FUBAR. I am using WMM and this is a new development, I was wondering If anyone had an idea of where to start looking for the issue, a messed up .INI, A known mod conflict, vanilla bug. please if you have any ideas let me know, thank you for your time.

Hi all, I was hoping someone hee on the nexus could help me with somethin, I was watching a video of arma 3 the other day and I noticed some cool looking deployable walls they had in the game, upon further research I found out that they are actually used in real life by various militarys to help quickly establish base perimeters, they are kinda like giant sand bags that you fill with dirt, sand, rocks, etc and bingo, instant wall. I hunted over the Nexus but sadly couldent find one on the one for NV or FO3. I was hoping someone here on the nexus could make one that I could use in the game for a more modern military feel, if you are intristed please let me know, I'll put a picture below and can link you to more if you need them, thanks for your time, Choochoo1

  11. Hey guys, so im having a littlie issue that the lights in the cell im making are not showing up, the emitter is in there but its not lighting up. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas of anything that I maybe forgot to tick on or off in the geck that may be causing the issues.

So I was messing with textures to put a GDI logo on some armor and I came across this picture, and I was hoping one of the excellent weapon makers here on the nexus would see this and maybe wanna give it a try. It looks pretty cool and like it should fit the vanilla animations well. if anyone does do this please let me know, Id really like to see how it turns out.

  15. Im glad ya'll are working on the issues with NMM. Installing by hand aint terrible, nothing we didn't have to do before NMM. I look forward to when everything is all done and running great again. and thanks for keeping us informed.
  16. ok, so I made a simple mod ( or so I thought) that adds a room full of static collections to Goodsprings that people can use with RTS. It runs fine for me and a lot of people but some users are reporting CTD's upon trying to enter the room. I cant seem to figure out the issue. I was wondering if a more experienced modder could look at my mod and tell me what my issue is and how to fix it. Hey all, For some reason when ever I try to teleport to goodsprings or even walk in I get a CTD, Im trying to figure out if theres a specific mod causing this or if so many people drop there mods there that Its put it over the limit for Items in the cell. Does anyone know a good way I can figure this out without having to go through and test one mod at a time?
  18. hi all, Im working on a factory mod that adds a new vendor to freeside, but I also want him to have rhe ability ro "forge" unique items. and by that i mean you put the objects in a dropbox and comback 24 hours later and whatever u have put in there doubles. u put 2 u get 4 etc. I have the navmesh, store and everything else. I jusr need someone ro set up the dropbox, If someone could ser it up for me i would be greatful and of course lisr u in the credits. Hey yall, Im making my first custom gun using chopped up pieces of the vanilla guns and i am at the point i need to make the collision mesh so it wont just float in the air if dropped or placed in the world. But i cant seem to find a simple tutorial on how to create a basic mesh for the weapon. If somone would be willing to make the mesh i would be grateful, but i would also be glad if someone could point out a lession on this so i can learn to do thisw myself.   21. Can someone please help me. I need a simple script that I can link so that when u walk up to a locked door you can pay XXXX caps for the key. I need so be able to use it on multiple different doors with different amounts. Im also looking for someone to help me script upgradable buildings and guards. Im planning to use this for my firebase phoenix mod that places a miitary base in a new world that u can usew for RTS/Wasteland Defense. If anyone would wanna help me with the script or anyother aspects please let me know.

  23. well for instance im doing a barracks and there are weapons on the table including the FM and ammo that are stattic and several high level weapons. and i feel if i put the real weapons im givimg a cheat. you know.
  24. I was working on a mod and wanted a quick community poll of deceration vs function. would you rather see weapons and other objects as a stationary decrative object for look and effect, or the guns and objects as themselves as objects to pick up? please lemmie know what you think.
