  1. In Oblivion you could carry a shield and sword and still cast without having to pause to change weapons. As a "Battle Mage" this was especially important to me. It seems that I am going to have to pause the game every time I need to conjure or heal or anything magical. At least you don't have to equip dragon shouts. I suppose I will learn to live with it. That is the only drawback I can find in this the most awesome game ever made. I know it is, and it's not even out yet.
  2. It would be great if you could give your spouse weapons and armor and train with them to help them level up to be stronger companions for missions.
  3. You can get a new wife in Skyrim, and she will not complain about how much time you spend playing video games because there are no video games in Skyrim, but there are dragons, and being the only dragon born stud in town, I seriously doubt she is going to give you a hard time about whatever it is you care to spend your time doing. She will always love and respect you, even if you chose to join the Dark Brotherhood. Skyrim wives are the best wives. I can't wait!
  4. The only drawback to this new dual wielding system is that previously (Oblivion) the player could be carrying a sword in one hand, a shield in the other, and still cast spells without having to relinquish the sword or the shield. I suppose however that on the up side there will be dragon shouts which do not need to needlessly take up one of your hands, I just personally would have preferred they not "equip" spells in the player's hand. I always play as a battle mage, and I need my sword and my shield almost all the time.
