Anyone ever create a Wynne Romance mod?
Jueg replied to trevrep's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Discussion
I don't think I understood the purpose behind your question properly. So I'm gonna go ahead and ask. Why do you want a mod which allows you to romance Wynne? -
If DA:O was a made into a movie...
Jueg replied to TSotP's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Discussion
I would go with; Human Noble (Female) Side with Bhelen Force Zathrian to end the curse Side with Mages Additionally; Have Alistair kill Loghain when he surrenders Make Alistair king and have the Warden marry him Accept Morrigan's Ritual Get along with companions It's just how I think on the matter.. -
New Weapon Models You'd Like to See in Game
Jueg replied to memocollector's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Mod Ideas
This is the one-handed I'd like to see. http://images.wikia.com/devilmaycry/images/1/14/ForceEdge_3.jpg -
About that ... When I try to open the compiler, it says that access to the path is denied. What's weird is that when I tried to open it on my laptop, it did open despite it not having Dragon Age installed. But when I tried to open it on my computer, which actually has Dragon Age installed, it said that access is denied. Why does it happen? Note: The processors on both the laptop and the desktop are Windows 7.

Can anyone fix No Helmet Hack so it can work with bitm* files? Considering the sad fact that most helms, helmets, capes and cowls look hideous yet possess such nice properties, No Helmet Hack is a must, imo. But it doesn't work as long as there are bitm* files in override folder. I can't give up on them, either. Any help is appreciated. Edit: No need for any guidance. I think I found a way to solve the problem. Any advice is still welcome, though. If you have any at all, that is.

All Newbies Read This Before Posting

Is posting a lot of threads considered spamming? -
I want to add a few new music to the game. And I'd like to learn how to do it, you know, to give DA:O a more fantastic feel. Any help or attempt to help is appreciated. Note: You should know that I am new at this. And literally have no idea how to do it. So if you avoid complex explanations and keep it as plain as you can, I'd appreciate it.

Why would you want the all your companions in one party, anyway? It would make the game effortless. Did you find Nightmare difficulty too hard?

Inspired by Two Handed Warrior Weapon Ability Tweak mod, I came up with an idea. The said mod allows you to use two handed weapon talents even when you aren't equipped with two handed weapons. So I came up with an idea that allows you to benefit from any weapon talent without having to equip that specific type of weapon. This goes for all talents in a balanced and reasonable way. For example, a shield master should be able to benefit from Stunning Blows talent. But the difference should be that stunning an opponent, without having a two hander equipped, less likely. If the chance of stun with a two hander is 30%, it should be 20% percent when using a longsword, for example. HOWEVER, I am not suggesting that a dual wield should be able to benefit from shield defense. Any attempt and help is appreciated. Note: There are four warrior talents that I would like changed. The first is Perfect Striking. For such a large amount of stamina it only gives you attack bonus. If it had critical chance, critical hit and armor penetration besides attack, I think it would be a great talent for warriors. You know, as an advanced version of Precise Striking but still an activated talent. And the other three are Threaten, Taunt and Disengage. I think they shouldn't cost any stamina and there shouldn't be any upkeep when using Threaten.

Really!? I must have terrible luck.

As the the title says, I am not requesting a mod. I am looking for one, in fact. Does anyone know where I get can get a mod that allows me to use 2H weapons be used as 1H? I know it exists but I really don't know where to get it. Don't believe me? Watch the following video.

It is not the Fade that bothering me. It's the 'trap' dream that the sloth demon shows you that's supposed to make you forget all about the darkspawn and stay there. You know the dream where Duncan speaks of the eradication of darkspawn and the world being at peace. I have no intention of skipping the Fade, in fact, I think it kind of fun. Your enemies die without you having to break a sweat. What I proposed was that depending on your origins(dalish, human noble, a mage of the circle etc.), you see what you wanted all your life. Be it freedom, seeing your family again or being with your clan once again. For human noble origin, for example, you should be seeing a dream where you and your family is together. For the sake of clarification, you see a dream about someone or something you lost or something you want. A reason for you to make you want to kill the sloth demon even more.
-
You know that when we encounter the sloth demon in the Circle of Magi, it put us to sleep and tries to trap us in a dream. And I always wondered why BioWare failed miserably. In the dream, which is meant to trap you, you have a conversation with Duncan and here is what he tells me and my reaction restricted by the options available to me. Duncan: We have eradicated the darkspawn and the world is at peace. Thera (my character): That can't be right. World is never truly at peace. Now, if you are playing the game for the first time, this maybe a little convincing but when you play it more than once, you see how miserably BioWare failed. I think it would be much more interesting if you saw someone or something you lost to become a Grey Warden depending on your origin. A dream constructed by the Sloth demon derived from your deepest desires. And it screws up at some point an you realize it was just a dream. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that this requires a lot of work. But I think everyone would love to play a perfected game. Any attempt to help is appreciated.

modd to kill duncan??
Jueg replied to TheDestroyerOfDreams's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Mod Ideas
I don't get it. Why would you want to kill Duncan? Why the hate? -
I must admit your ideas are really interesting. Had you permitted multiple vote, I would have chosen them all. Simply because they are all good ideas. In fact, I was building a mod very similar to yours. In my head, that is, not literrally. Truly, I liked yours better than mine.

There is already a mod that allows faster combat in DAO if that's what your asking. I'll forward you a link. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2577

New Armor Models You'd Like to See in Game
Jueg replied to Flash432's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Mod Ideas
This is the type of armor I'd like to see for female characters. Because the game is sorely lacking. For those who are interested: Can you make medium and massive variants so both rogues and warriors can use it? -
THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE HERE. MOVE ALONG! I just came up with an armor mod. An armor mod that features the clothing of Lightning, from Final Fantasy. It isn't exactly suitable for the theme of the game but I would love to see it. Any attempt is appreciated.

Sadly, you are mistaken. Here is a link to Rememberance Rune Mod. You'll see that it has more than 3 properties. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=371 (Veshialle Rememberance Rune mod) Edit: I know the Winter Forge mod and I already had it installed. This doesn't I didn't appreciate the help, though.
-
I request a mod be made that is very similar to Veshialle Remembrance Rune. A rune mod that grants the Rose Thorn dagger's properties. A sister or brother mod to Remeberance Rune mod. Any attempt and help is appreciated. Here are its properties; +2 dexterity +1/+2 health regeneration in combat +3 damage +5% melee critical chance +30% critical/backstab damage

Thanks!

I'm afraid this will not yield any results. Because I tried it before and it didn't work. At first I thought updater couldn't install because of that security thingy. You know, not allowing anything to be relocated or changed without permission. So I thought if I changed the location of the file along with everything in it, the matter would be settled. But, unfortunately, I was wrong. When I launch the program and attempt all that installation nonsense, it just stops. The program looks for the manifest.xml in Local Disk (C:). The only thing that comes to my mind is finding a means to make the updater look for the file where it is actually located. But, alas, I don't know how to do it.
-
I have got a bit of a problem with my daupdater. It doesn't install mods. It keeps saying manifest.xml is not found. And no matter what I tried I couldn't fix it can anyone help. You may want to know that my system is Windows 7 and that I re-located or changed my Dragon Age file from one of my local disks to another. Its patch is 1.04. I'd appreciate any help.
