Model ID of the hardware please. OR an exact web link to what you own as the laptop suggests. If the machine has anything Intel related in it? I know what's wrong. Hun uninstall the game ,the master file is corrupted, reinstall it. Make sure there is NO Anti Virus programs running in the background. They corrupt installs. ---------- NOTE: you may be required to run the TTW installer and updates patches all over again, this time make sure there's no foreign mods installed in either games directories. both games need to be virgins'. TTW is very explicate in how it operates. " two Fresh games and no NON-sense Other that the games raw data period. No nvse, No Fose, no scripts of any kind, NO INI tweaks , Nothing but raw fresh games. -

The correct answer is NO, you can not run Boris's mod period. It's the same file that allows your PC to run the game, the Inntel bypass file " in name only is the same name and the ENB file Overwrites that file which is NOT an intel bypass file, it's completely different. There IS no work around. Top prove a point, go to your C:\ drive and search the Entire drive for that file name, you will find the file name all over the place, each program has their own version of that file including the browser. they will not work Either. So No, you can't run ENB series on that machine at all. Kitty Black -

On your PC , there is a file that can tell us what's wrong if anything IS ? ----------------------- On my machine it's this file [ C:\Users\Kitty Black\AppData\Local\Fallout3\plugins.txt ] open it and see if the load order is correct or copy the content s in it and paste it here in a post Kitty Black -

All that's required is a reset of control. depends on a lot where all your mods are installed @ a reset deals with removing the current control sets. these are in the users app's Local folders. you find Vortex ,MO 2, and the game name and delete them---if you wish save them all into a new folder on the desktop as a back up. Once they are gone ? reboot the PC Now run the game directly from steam and hard save. Now--your sitting brand new and nothing / no mod manager is controlling squat. Steam is in command. ---------------------------------------------- Choice time. You can not migrate modding tools once a president is set in motion. You must decide which will give you more control over the mods, which will give you more access of the things you want to edit and Isolate. Above is my best advice as to where these control folders lay. See previous post here on this thread. so your going from steam to ? what to run your games? Choose. I will help those that help them selves. I am here for you. I have no interest's in comparing apples and oranges, just getting you up and running. -------------------------------------------- The most important features are this "Global" vs "Local" --"Instances" If you choose Global, then Both managers will fight for supremacy over the game controls and write a whole bunch of junk leaving you where you are right now. If you choose Local, your in command period. So choose the right path and don't look back. there's a learning curve with both programs. MO2 curve is short and sweet. You have several mods that change default code to something less desirable. Anything seen touching that area? you remove and replace with a blank Plugin with the same name and watch what happens. "Use FNVEdit " back up the saved game. What I do for users is purge their saved game and fix the code or tell them to do this and that allows the game flow to self purge the offending code. In a saved game, file name (Of) the Plugin is all that's important here, Yes, any mod you replace with assets in inventory will disappear, but also the bugs that go with it too go away. You can use FnvEdit or the games utility available here on the nexus, it's a java utility that make perfect plugins. You have incompatible mods as well. "Too many." Kitty Black

Yeah, two things going against you from the start. Any how, Most intel machines, not all require a simple fix to over come stability running. Intel HD graphics Bypass package at Fallout 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) That for starters. I am Not a vortex fan when it comes to Fallout 3's data base. I have my own dedicated server now and I use Fomm for Fo3 and FNV games. I keep and maintain My own sort order documents for use with Fomm. The version intended is Hyperlinked in my spoiler tag here in my signature. The load order template is no where even close to the messed up Loot arrangement. No body cares about fallout 3 anyways. That is apparent. manually adjust your load order Or I'll give you a copy of the document. As far as allowing other programs to control your mods ? your free to do what you think is best. I use all the tools for a Varity of reasons. that Includes Vortex. But Not for this game. It's fine with most other games, all I do is read the complaints and most of the time it's user errors that cause the problems. There are more complaints than answers. follow directions and the ini file is not really necessary but if you need it, it's up to you to lie to your PC. open and drop and run. should be all you need. If you installed your game into C:\Program Files And folders (x86) then that's the problem. Windows absolutely will not allow you to mess with write protected software in it's programs. reinstall the game else where, another drive or C:\fallout 3 Kitty

You need to be patient, you need to build up your in game stats. what your describing is NORMAL. put in alt least 3 hours into the game before you start to modify it's innards, "Do Not mod the game" until you establish a repour in the communities' first ...then things will work right. Also. IF there are no mods involved and the problem crops up again? That I want to know about. -

Looking for the mod that had a tent Just outside of Megaton on the hill to the left as you look at the main gate, the tent has a screen door on it and it prevents rain from entering. I got over a million mods and for the life of me can't recall the author or the name of the mod? I tested it against Enhanced weather and it does work but I can't find anything remotely similar? Does Any one know the name of the mod? Or the author that made it? What I do recall is a discussion about a script that "fools" the game engine to prevent the rain from coming inside. I do know companions will not be able to use it either. So I wait. EDIT: I found it ! Camp Meridian at Fallout 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) Now this request can be ignored. If you are merging mods that use archives? then no, it will not work. If you are merging mods before repairing said mods then no it will not work. If you are using mods that must use scrip extender ? then NO it will not work. I use ver 64 not 65, the 65 zmerge is meant mainly for a later engine "skyrim" and not other games. zmerge 64 only works on Fallout 3 and fallout new Vegas / ... if you have repaired any and all mods proper to merging and they MUST BE in the correct load order for what ever game is used. The older versions works too but ! can not handle UI mods at all. So choose the correct things / tools that meet the needs. Please don't spread misinformation because you don't understand what's required. --------------------------------- A small tut for you. Use the correct load order and verify IN Game that order works correctly. Verify there are zero errors contained within each mod Period. IF there are errors "Other than" Unknown" Fix then. IF there are Duplicates entries, repair them first. Any Unnecessary edits in a mod such as deleted content? Do not attempt to merge those types of files. IF the mod was NOT made in the geck ? for get it, they will only break the game. IF a succefful merge completes but does not run? set it to master to check if it runs that way, if it now operates, flip the master flag back off and load and save in the GECK / kits" Do NOT edit a merged mod once merged. You've been warned. Some mods will not work in any formatted tools.Now, if you do not understand any of this? I am here to help you "UNDERSTAND". The only way any one will get any help about this subject is IF they submit a saved game with the mods intended to merge. Not a list Not a load order. A saved game that worked. Those are the terms. No saved game file showing the intended mods? no help will come. Kitty Black

The point Is I help those on Linux systems too so no, windows 10 is not the only OS I work with dealing with games. And 1 you would not Believe some of the hosed up systems I have had to fix. It get really ridiculous too. --------------- Ok 10 "Home Edition" Ok ssd secondary drive. Open this up "__redist" and work your way down. both 32bit and 64bit in order. IF there is a pop up that says already installed or refuses to install ? skip it. Do them all. Once done? refresh the files from Steam for the game and run the game from steams application first. DO NOT use Vortex or MO2 Run it direct as if there are no outside tools. This is where I have an advantage over most, I can afford many PC's and choose my own poison. I only have a single PC desktop with all the Jazzed up weird things available , shader packages, Body slide stuff, script extenders, Enhancers , just all of that jazz. It gets boring fighting software. That rig remains off line , has been offline for months. ya just can't keep up with all the changes and fight the publishers updates that snafue the game in the middle of developments. Tiring and boring. -

OK Bad news, they all render normally here EncSynth <---any thing with that Prefix renders fine. Your best bet is to give me an exact name and I'll screen shoot it for you. If your using the Studio to change the assets in game? that might be the cause. -

Hold on, I am here after all to assist you, I am almost done installing the kit's assets. I intend to look at the file you are having issues with. 1 of 2 things will happen here, 1 it works or 2 it's repeats the same thing. is there a texture that is vanilla that does the same thing as yours ? and where in the world spaces do I need to look ?
