  1. There are two questions I would like Vortex to be able to answer: 1) What is in the profile? (without switching to the profile in question) 2) What are the differences between profile X and profile Y? Perhaps a quick and dirty way to handle this is to export the list of active mods and plugins in a profile to a .CSV file. Then the user could inspect the .CSV file or use Winmerge to find the differences.
  2. I, to, would like an easy means to do what the OP asked. Ideally, it should spit the contents of the Vortex "MODS" display to a text file using the same filters and sort order selected for the display. The fields would be separated by tabs to allow easy import to a spreadsheet. This would allow me to answer questions like "How is profile X different from profile Y" by feeding the text output of each into WinMerge. As to the following suggestion: This produces a list of every file under <your mods directory> including all the contents of the folders and subfolders. From ...\Vortex\skyrim\mods it lists every from every mod installed (according to Vortex), including those not enabled. From ...\Skyrim\data it lists every file installed in Skyrim. Neither is what the OP is asking for, which is, most likely, the "MODS" display of Vortex converted to text, Ideally filtered by, for example, "Status: Enabled". The best you can do with Powershell is get a list of all possibly installed mods (or rather the archive name, which is usually close) with: Then you would have to edit the file and remove lines corresponding to mods which are not "Status: Enabled" in the left column of the mods page. This at least saves a lot of typing, but is still laborious.
  3. This is not hard provided that your manually installed mods came packaged in a way that NMM understands. That would be either a zip, rar or 7z file with an internal folder tree that starts at, or just under "data". In other words, something that you could extract into Skyrim's data folder. Use the green plus "+" in the upper left to "Add mod from file", browse to the archive and select it. NMM will process the contents (may take a while if it is big). Finally, select the green check-mark to install and activate. If will go through the formality of overwriting the manually installed files with identical contents. When finished your mod is now under NMM management.
  4. For what it's worth you will find that Jaxonz Map Markers http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58450/? has been updated in Jan. 2015 (see the mouseprint  ). I use it all the time and it works just fine.
  5. Jaxonz positioner or similar will let you move stuff around or delete stuff. I once used it to take a coffin from Forebears' Holdout and put it in the cellar.
  6. There is a Breezehome basement with an escape tunnel Simple Hearthfires Breezehome Basement, but the basement itself is not secret. There is a secret entrance to a back room in the basement however, and that is where the tunnel is.
