  1. My character was making a purchase a pennies store, when I hit the tab key and exited the barter screen, when penny started yelling I was trying to kill them all and while she was shooting at me, the rest piled in the store with guns(1 had a baseball bat) and I couldn't talk to the so I ended up hacking them to pieces. Then I received Heavy MG fire from 1 of the wall MG turrets and Jacob ran in I tried to talk to him, but ended up killing him too and taking out the MG turret. Then decided to make a clean seep, so I killed the cat as well. The problem is that everything is still 'owned' by them and I can't even sleep in their beds and everything I took was 'stolen'. Also while I got everything I traded for, the 'coins' were gone as were the other items I had bartered. This leads me to believe that killing all of Covenant was a usual occurrence. I got a map to compound, but it doesn't show anything and I can't find it on Pip-boy map.
  2. Do I need to do anything to have it available or just put it in the work bench? The same as food gathered outside the settlement if placed in work bench does it count for food for the settlement as well or just for my character. I have not noticed any excess food grown to be placed in the workstation. Stores do there materials sold come from the work station( and do I get a share of caps made) or are they hypothetically material obtained through traders?
  3. I have resolved myself to the idea this is an alternate world, Fusion Power with vacuum tubes!!! Also those computers and auto doors with no power. Must have their own fusion cores or awesome batteries to last 210 years not to mention power heavy or even light doors. I can understand not worrying about all the skeletons lying about as why bother. However the ones in your house or right outside your door, no way. The main thing though is how unmotivated the people are, it takes no brain power to take the most solid wrecked house you can find to live in and then cannibalize the others for replacement parts. The Mc Abernathy's farm house has huge gaping holes in it yet it is 3 generations old. There is no sigh of the cities being mined for things like door hinges, sinks (just a wash basin with a plug) or even porcelain toilets for the outhouses. This is not even mentioning bricks, cinder blocks, door and wall frames and pipes or girders etc. Sure there is a problem with gouls, but heavily armed 'city miners' could do it and trade with other communities for food and clothing. Who's making their boots? I would expect to see a lot more Ho Chi Minh sandals made out of strips of rubber and rope.
  4. How about small 'walls'. Nine makes a normal wall then you could just remove one and have a window where you want it or even two in a wall.
