  1. I have hundreds of save game files for 5 different characters. 3 BOS sentinels 1 railroad agent and 1 Atom Cats rule. Most of the files are modded but I did play one character to lev 60 without mods. One character was at lev 117 before doing Nuka world. I probably have something close to what you want but you will need to be more specific to narrow down the selection
  2. Atom blesses all with his warm glow free for all his children. Join us and bask in Atoms radiance. Lol just kidding but the charitable ones do seem like kooks.
  3. talk to the guy through the glass. If you don't threaten to kill him he will open the door.
  4. if you want to role play a raider type start nuka world right away. If you don't want to make raider settlements it can wait until after the main quest
  5. go ahead and kill them. After you restore power to the park there are robots all over the place doing their jobs. I don't know if they reset or what but I killed a ton of them and there are still plenty left.
  6. since I had no settlements on the map I didn't already own I decided it was Open Season on raiders
  7. There is a workshop at the red rocket. You can kill the raiders and free the traders. You can turn the power on and go on the rides. Nuka Galaxy is pretty cool
  8. bridge and or end caps add some snapability. try using those tiles to snap to when the room piece you want wont snap to anything else
  9. this mod has a follower and lots of interesting npc's. This is one of the best mods I have ever seen. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8704/?
  10. The first 2 or 3 equipped it then nothing. Clem the test subject was the last one. It seems like the quest stage to equip Clem may be related to this bug if it is a bug.
  11. The minutemen look good on paper but those morons cant do anything on their own. They wander around aimlessly staring at walls for hours then congregate on rooftops. You give them power armor to help them protect a settlement and they leave it out in the open where raiders can jump in and use it against them. The BOS has every reason to feel superior they don't leave powerful technology laying around for the enemy to obtain at will. The minutemen have proven themselves to be incapable. The nefarious acts of the institute have proven they are worthy of destruction. The railroad is only concerned with the welfare of synths so they offer no valid aid to the commonwealth. Like it or not there is only one group with any hope of making a difference. Ad Victorium.
  12. Meh to ballistic weave. Meh to the railroad. Its worth doing the railroad quests with a second or third character just to watch the Prydwen explode but the railroad doesn't have anything of real value to me. You do need them to decode the courser chip but after that I have no moral dilemma exterminating them. I found Deacon to be extremely annoying. He constantly changes wardrobe so giving him armor is annoying. He constantly spews verbal diarrhea with conflicting information daring you to guess if he is a synth or not. I blew his head off with a gatling laser because that's the only way you can tell for sure. SetEssential 0
  13. On the command deck of the Prydwen after a long speech about the evils of synths. Currie decides to confide in me how great is to be a synth and how thankful she is I was able to assist her. The dialogue scene cuts back and forth between Curie and the PC with Maxson standing there frowning. I thought we were gonna die but she spills the beans right in front of the assembled senior staff and no one bats an eyelash.
  14. I never used the rooms for the same reason. They don't want to snap to anything. I will try the bridge and endcap as well
  15. There is the scrap all command but in most cases it not advisable.
  16. I clicked on the link and it is different now. You are able to download with the NMM. This was not the case when I made the post. I may have to reinstall as it might be an updated version.
  17. I tried a few more of the quests in this mod. A couple from the list seem to be inactive and the ones that start with bobbi no nose didn't work because the game disables that NPC after you finish the big dig. I guess its still a work in progress. The quests that are finished are exceptionally well done and add a depth to the game. Thus the name 3d npc.
  18. I think its possible to be a little more creative than Soviet block housing. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/1623931106790531660/05BBC2D3CE97BE408452AE6F961406BDA27B23CE/
  19. I was watching some you tube mod videos to preview some of the available mods. There is a link to a site by a mod author on the nexus. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8704/? Tales from the commonwealth is a quest mod of extraordinary quality. I have done 1 of 18 quests in the mod and this one is a winner compete with voice actors and dialog scenes. Kris Takahashi is able to do a better job than the Bethesda team. You will need to download manually from his site. Move the zip file to the fallout data folder and extract. I used the NMM to enable the esm. Try it you wont regret it. I don't want to give away too much but at the end of the first quest you have a choice and your decision will decide what perk is gained as a reward for completion. Talented actors, unique npc's, unique perks. I'm so impressed I could go on and on. You have to try this.
  20. I haven't seen that in the last couple of months or so. I had the stairs built to the roof but I removed it as it no longer seemed to be a problem. Why would the patch apparently work for me and not others?
  21. I haven't seen any tutorials for the newest version but there are some good ones for previous versions. If you have fallout 3 or new vegas you could try downloading those tools and following some tutorials to get an idea how it works. Then you can ask more specific questions on how to use the new tools. If someone knows a tutorial for the latest version I would like to see it as well.
  22. This thread convinced me to try the PC version of fallout shelter. I found it kind of annoying until I figured out how to get things rolling. Now that I have a couple of them running efficiently I find it boring. It looks like a money pit as after the first few objectives the lunchboxes seem to be removed from the reward system. Maybe when some of the kids grow up and the overseer office is unlocked it will be better so I will reserve judgment until that point.
