1. I am in the United States in the state of Utah. With the city I live in as my service provider. Test download went just fine.
2. What specifically do you need to know? PC specs or more network oriented specs? BTW I have seen a post with people having a similar problem and I have never had problems like this before on this exact setup.

5. As far as getting kidnapped when dying in a fight that could be really quite interesting. I suppose it could send you to an interior cell of the faction and automatically respawn the enemies if that cell has been cleared. Then I assume you would figure out how to recover your gear and make your escape.
6. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17902 Does something similar to what I am describing though it modifies damage which is something I imagine you wouldn't want for your mod. I wonder if you could use this is a framework for something like that? Not sure how they pulled it off.
7. I was also wondering if you had considered making your own skill/perk setup using LevelUpMenuEx at all? I think it would be fun to have a wide variety of perks to choose as you level up as in the old days. I imagine that would be a pretty hefty task though. Also is it possible to create a skill or perk or something of the like that improves over time I.E. improved accuracy and reload speed with pistols from using pistols against enemies?
8. This mod is phat thicc in all of the best ways? Have you been following Cascadia with any level of interest? I would love to hear about any mods WIP or otherwise you are interested in so I can take a look at them. Aside from Ammotweaks framework update. We all moistin over that one.
9. Also I just wanted to say I am really glad you decided to remove the absurd .50 conversion from standard hunting rifles. They literally already have an existing AMR in their previous titles so that one felt especially like a strange slap in the face to weapon variety. That is probably one of the more major complaints I have with Fallout 4. They don't have that many different weapon calibers in the game in the first place and somehow they can't manage to put enough unique weapons in the game to cover most of them without just lazily slapping a caliber conversion onto a weapon it has no business being on?!?!
10. Ah. I suppose I just like the idea of having unique things out in the world to discover considering how sparse the more unique content in Fallout 4 is compared to previous Fallout titles. Just looking at the list of quests in Fallout 4 that aren't generic radiant fetch and kill quests made me a little sad at how small it was. Perhaps you if time allows later on, you could have rarer or unique versions of certain guns maybe made of a durable material or something idk. Maybe just some trumped up bullshit lore behind them so that they don't have to be repaired as often and someone who is a fan of the mod could as skins for them or something. I miss having those All-American/A Light Shining in the Darkness excitement moments. I simply suggested Caliber as it is the most straightforward and simple way I could think of to make the weapon more unique. I was wondering how varied the modification on weapons dropping in the world will be. If the weapons are only going to be dropping with more base modifications you could add pre modified version into the game which is what I imagine you are likely doing already. Also how much work would it be to make custom legendary effects just those unique weapons. Maybe Legendary effects that combine 2 of them together to make something a little more unique or even just pumping up the values a bit to have them stand out and be noteworthy would be really cool. Really wish some mod authors would add one or two more towns/quest hubs in the more sparsely populated areas of the map just to fill out the base Fallout 4 experience a bit more because the stuff that is good in the game is done pretty well. It really kinda drives me crazy that there is such a strong framework with Fallout 4 but with some generally lackluster execution. I am really hoping there will be a strong modding scene behind Fallout Cascadia when it releases in probably 1 and half years at the earliest. I would love to do a base playthrough of a more fleshed out RPG experience in this engine and then have the opportunity to experience that again with your work on this ported over by some enthusiastic fans. BTW I have literally all of the time in the world right now as I am out of work and locked up in my home so if there is anything that isn't a priority for you to get done that you think a beginner modder could figure out with some level of perseverance I would be willing to look in to toying around with it. (I.E. some spicier versions of unique weapons legendary effects.)
11. Hey Antistar I was wondering if you had any plans for unique weapon variants? Honestly would love to have a version of the guns you add with just a slightly customized skin. Finding them adds a ton of flavor to the game experience and I think it would be really fun. Also I kinda like the idea of having a rare variant of a gun be the only version of that gun chambered in a particular caliber of ammunition. Mayhaps you could do that for a weapon that can technically be chambered that way in real life but is not that way commonly. Also I was wondering how many guns in the game will be able to have multiple caliber conversions. I imagine the more varied weapon platforms like the AR-15 will have multiple options. Personally I would prefer if the more powerful caliber conversions were exclusive to rarer or completely unique variations of the gun to give those more flavor. Your thoughts?
12. The fact they they have interviewed you gives me hope that the next major fallout release might take into account some of the issues with the systems in the game regarding animations and weapon functionality. They always seem to pull a lot from modding in their previous releases. My super uber pipe dream hope is that they will reimagine their survival difficulty or mode to be more functionally similar to WARS in regards to health values and the like. Probably a bit of stretch to make such hopeful statements this far out, but I can only hope that this sort of thing is taken into account even for perhaps it's own specific difficulty mode.
13. We have had some dope 5.6 earthquake action on top of the spread of covid-19 here in Utah. All this stuff happening everywhere makes it feel like some sort of apocalyptic film.
14. Hey Antistar what weapon sound overhaul did you say you use again?
15. Hey Antistar it has been a while since I have posted! I had an idea for an armor system I thought would be great. Is it possible to have a damage threshold system where if you are over the threshold you do full damage bug if you are under the threshold you do a certain percentage less damage based on how many points of damage you under the threshold? (I.E. 1 point under DT is 30% less damage and 2 points under DT is 40% less damage?) I think a system like this if feasible would be great as you could simply adjust DT of armors around the damage of your different ammo calibers in a way that makes sense to you. Just a thought from your friendly neighborhood wall of text poster! (;
16. Just out of curiosity have you looked into talking with some of the devs of Fallout 4 New Vegas to see how they are getting damage thresholds to work? Also can you modify the different calibers or the receivers for the calibers to have different percentage armor penetration values in order to make it so higher caliber bullets naturally pierce armor better? For armor piercing ammo are you going to have it raise penetration by a set percentage?
17. shavkacagarikia has a lever action reload fix that allows it to reload only the amount of shots you have already shot out however it does not allow canceling the animation at any point. I hope someone figures that one out someday as I love the lever action's aesthetic and style. shavkac
18. Any plans to make a double action modification for the .44 or should I use this awesome mod! https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/33511 Edit: will that f*#@ with your recoil changes?
19. I have been wondering if you have seen any of the stuff with levelupmenuEX and the Be Exceptional Mod. Essentially levelupmenuEX brings back the old skills/perks menu from previous fallout games into the game and is just the UI modification whereas Be Exceptional actually adds the old skill levels into the game. For example rifles and pistol skills as they increase gives increased damage, Range, Hipfire Accuracy and Reload speed. I wonder if it would be possible to simply remove the damage and range portions of those skill modifications so make it so it is like you are simply increasing your proficiency in using that style of weapon. I also wondered if it is possible to script in some sort of weapon proficiency system so that your other non combat skills are ones you choose upon leveling up and your skills with handguns vs rifle grip style guns could somehow naturally level as you use them in combat somewhat similar to skyrims leveling system. It would make it so that as you use a certain ranged weapon type you become more adept at their use such as faster reload speeds and potentially slightly better handling speeds as you level up the skill from 1 to 100. I have no idea how hard this would be to implement if it were even possible but I think it would be way cool. I also like the idea of using levelupmenuEX and Be Exceptional so that some of the more boring choices available for perks such as your science, hacking, lockpicking, speech, and such are available for dumping skill points into and the perk choices are a little more interesting. You could potentially add a lot more interesting perks this way and Be Exceptional already has a bunch of cool new options. I am sure you have been asked about this before and it could likely be a bit of a b&@*$ to implement your own perk changes into this system but I really like the idea of having those skills separate. Another relatively low priority issue but one that has been on my mind nonetheless. Thank you again for your time on this awesome project!
20. In regards to armor upgrades I was just referring to the certain mods to armor at the crafting bench just giving numbers that don't make sense for what the actual modification is. If you were to go in and examine the numbers in regards to armor and see how they interact with your weapons damage numbers I am sure you would get the modifications themselves sorted just as well (I haven't played the game in quite a while in anticipation for WARS and PEACE but I am fairly certain I remember the armor system being just a little bit out of whack Also the ballistic fiber modification you can get for clothes is absurdly powerful, I think it exists for those who just like the plain outfits and just want to strut their stuff without having to equip icky looking armor.) Personally I loved using ballistic weave regardless of it being ridiculous because many of the best armors in the game look effing ridiculous however practical they might be. I will likely just end up getting one of those mods that allow you to equip modern military looking gear so I don't feel stupid looking and modify the numbers to fit into WARS balance if they aren't suited. Just as a note if I had to make any suggestions I would be to make it so that armor values are fairly low across the board and only a slight factor in your balance overall. Naturally armored enemies such as deathclaws and radscorpions armor values aren't tied to pieces of equipment so armor piercing rounds would still be of use. The only problem I can see cropping up with this is super mutants and humans with more high end military gear such as gunners potentially not being tough enough. I have always liked the idea of different armor tiers having specific strengths and weaknesses such as Ebony being great against magic while the gap between it and other armor tiers in terms of it's raw defense value is significantly lessened with other armor types having different bonuses as well. In any case I would much rather you work on the more important aspects of the project to you than my aesthetic complaints as there are some reskins out there I am sure. I am going to go ahead and skim through some armor mods or reskin mods for current armors and link the mod page on here. If you ever get to a point in the project where more important issues have been addressed and you find that you don't care for the lackluster looks of the current armor selection and want to make that somewhat of a priority you can have a reference of some potential options you might be able to get permission to utilize. If that never becomes a priority for you I would greatly appreciate if you release a guide on how to balance armor mods to be in line with your vision for WARS and PEACE similar to how you are going to for weapons with WARS so that I can give some added options for the folks out there! Thanks Antistar. I am giddy with anticipation at least once a week!
21. Hey Antistar! I don't know if you remember but a while ago in the WARS thread I had mentioned some huge redundancies in the base survival system such as sicknesses that make your thirst, hunger, and rested state go down even faster. There was also problem where if you only sleep for a small number of hours you somehow wake up more tired than you were before. The different lower tier bed types giving you a drastically lower amount of rest when you sleep. (Rest is rest when your in the apocalypse I am sure people have learned to rough it. This isn't some socialite off of instant hotel scrutinizing the finer details of their sleeping experience.) On top of the stuff above this I was wondering if you had any plans to change up the armor system at all such as removing ridiculous pieces of armor like the raider armor. No one would imagine something like that up over some decent leather. At least the Diamond City guard armor makes sense. It is effective and already there for use. Do you plan on looking at how much the armor scales with upgrades so that it makes a little more sense for how you are actually modifying the armor? My main concern from the stuff above is sleep related things. I am pretty sure if you don't sleep long enough you can get insomnia however sometimes I just want to sleep a few hours to cap off my rested bar before I go off somewhere. I don't want to be punished for not sleeping over a specific threshold every time I sleep. Was hoping for your thoughts on this! Thanks man I really appreciate the work your doing and these two projects are looking more incredible every time I open the forums.
22. Hey it has been a while since I have bombarded you with a passionate wall of immovable and unreadable text so I thought I might ask a question or two. I was wondering with the release of fallout 76 if it might be possible for someone with the right knowledge to look into its game files and see how their durability system works in order to potentially utilize it for WARS. The Fallout 4 New Vegas team is working on a system like this as well I think. The main reason I ask is because the whole receiver system you have planned currently, seems like it might work but also seems as if it may clog up the crafting menu needlessly and be a bit tedious to work with. I was just curious if having an actual durability bar that dynamically changes the damage/potentially some other factors as the durability gets lower is something you have thought about or are thinking about. Also do you know if the volkssturmgewehr will be modified by Commonwealth Warfare at all because it's weird buzzy shot sound is the most absurd garbage I have ever heard. Final thing! I got super excited about this mod again after setting up a visual mod setup and now have everything lined up for use with the mod. Still tweaking my UI but so far everything else is nice. Because I have an uncommon aspect ratio the green background behind text and UI elements is misaligned with the actual text and UI so it looks terrible. Cannot figure out how to remove that background stuff. There we go! Almost readable and understandable for being rushed out rather quickly.
23. Oh yeah I thought of something else and I wasn't sure if you knew how to do this because I think it is a rather easy fix. Basically there are mods that make it so your bullet casings stay on the ground a lot longer without disappearing so that you can see the awesome aftermath. There is one that makes it so the mags you pull out stay on the ground as well. Finally there is one that makes it so the holes your bullets make in walls can appear at a further distance so that you don't shoot a wall while scoped and have it bounce off and do literally nothing. I was wondering if you could somehow wrap up these changes into the mod as from what I understand they are easy fixes. (could be wrong) Also I was curious if you were going to have your bullets have a little travel time like in real life as some mods do or if you planned on sticking with the standard hitscan. Sorry if this is already mentioned as I vaguely feel I remember reading something about this somewhere in the thread.
24. Hey Antistar glad to see it coming along. No text walls for you to slog through this time just a big thumbs up over the interwebs and some suggestions. I have been thinking about what mods you may want to have as suggested on your page once it is done just so people can get the perfect F4 experience. I just found one I cannot live without called "Raw Input". Basically takes away weird shitty aim stuff and makes it feel like the true PC experience it should be. This mod goes beyond just adjusting some .ini lines and I have tested just removing the annoying stuff myself in the files and using this mod. This mod adjusts some of that stuff but I guess it supposedly adds some stuff too. Anyway the aiming feels great, no sprinting view changes and turn speed reduction, no mouse acceleration, just plain ole feels good man. I may post a few on here that I think don't infringe in any way on what this mod is and that you may suggest to people so they can get that perfect experience. Check out this mod and tell me what you think man! Yours truly the large walls of text guy who has probably accidentally done it again due to excitement and his new 21:9 aspect ratio monitor making it hard to see what the text would look like on normal aspect ratio.
