  1. Yes it is possible. You need to set up a schedule ( use sandbox setup) then point to the idle markers. You can also set the markers for only one npc or faction ( double click on the marker then go to ownership and set the npc or group you want to use it). The schedule will also dictate when the sandbox occurs such as browse for 12hrs starting at 8 am and ending at 8pm.
  2. Ok. I pointed the script to the apples but then the container disappears as well. Is there an easier way to attempt this? I would like to put different food items into a container and then have it show up else where in the cell. I would like this to extend to other things as well.
  3. Oh it worked! Thank you! Ok now is it possible to change the xmarker to look like an apple or instead of pointing to xmarkers to point to the apple potion? I would like to make the apples look nice in the bowl and its hard to do that with xmarkers. Thanks again
  4. Bah! I am having a hard time getting this thing set up... I put the x markers in the bowl and connected them to the script but the apples are still not showing up. Do I need to restart the game with a new save or did i set it up wrong?
  5. Ok so if I understand correctly I need to put x markers where the items would show up at. Example xmarkers in bowl then apples will appear? Next I would use a formlist to display the items (this would be the static versions or regular?) I kind of need help setting the thing up.
  6. Mmmmm. Is this possible to do this with lets say apples? For example I want to display apples, cabbage, potatoes etc etc.How difficult would it be to display 100s of items? Thanks
  7. Hello! I was wondering if someone could help me with some modding problems I have been working on for a while. I would like to display multiple items by putting them in a container and then them showing up somewhere else instead of going through a script to place them individually. Example: placing food in a container and it shows up in a bowl, one by one. I would also like to display books either by using the same method or have a script search my inventory and display them that way. Also cant this be done with other items as well? My goal is to try and to do display like legacy of the dragonborn. I have tried to look at the scripts but I dont know how to set anything help. I would like to display everything! If anyone can help me out I really appreciate it. Thanks Edit Thanks everyone for the help! I was able to find what i needed on this page: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/articles/51550. It is not exact but will fit my needs.
  8. I thought this would be way easier. Start the quest > talk to npc > npc goes to home > start new package. I am stuck on the npc goes to home part ( I have the dialogue set up but they just continue to stand there.) Is there a trigger or something i need to set up in the dialogue or quest or in the alias? This is way tougher then i thought :pinch:.
  9. Ah. I see. I will take a look and see if this is possible. I think there is another mod that does something similar ( lets you hire npcs to come work for you at your home). Found it become high king of skyrim has this feature! I take a look at that as well.
  10. Is it not possible to do the my home is your home but to just do it with my home being the main location? I dont want to rely on another mod and it would be great to learn how to do this. It shouldnt be that invasive to relocate most of the hirelings since they just stand around the taverns. For other followers the quest would only fire after their quest was done ( I may not do this for all followers since some of them have homes already). Also please remember that some of these npcs can be relocated anyway due to the blades quest or the steward quest so it should be safe. If anyone can help please let me know. Thanks
  11. Hello! I am trying my hand at modding skyrim and would like to try a few things: Hire vanilla npcs such as Benor, Erik and Jenassa etc. to move into my home via dialogue. I would like to make a guild and have the npcs walk around, interact with markers basically relocate to my home. I would also like to get them to go out and clear out bandit locations. ( I do know about my home is your home and guild starter but really want it to be just for my home.) I was able to figure out how to set up dialogue and set up packages but I cant get the followers to actually move into my home (they just ignore new packages I set up via quest). Would anyone be able to help me with this? Thanks!
