Well you put a negative response as a voting option, I think using the word "retarded" probably encourages people to vote you down :biggrin: Also it seems like a very specific mod, can't see a lot of mainstream interest being generated here. I like the idea btw, just saying it's a huge project and you won't get many people clammering to help out. And, to be honest, there's not a lot of people who would want to actually take a nordic world....and transform it into feudal Japan. Heck, that shouldn't be called Skyrim anymore ! Yes, the idea is good, and yes I would love to see what some people could do with an idea such as yours. But let's be reasonnable, Skyrim is a game made with dragons, big guys with beards smashing everyone's face with hammers and axes, before drinking ans singing songs... uhmmm... all that you said is correct except... oh the irony!! " Skyrim is a game made with dragons"... man, get real!!! Dragons were made in Ancient Asian Mythology!!! And mostly Chinese and Japanese Mythology if I'm not mistaken!

I'd like to see a mod that makes shields put on back when you sheath your sword. Also a mod that makes one-handed swords to be on back like two-handed swords!!

so u're saying I have no chances, right? :/ Damn I wanted to make some things that I didn't have replies on mod requests... But I'm willing to try and exercise. I've already downloaded 3d studio max and photoshop... And I WILL try and do my best to learn how to create things. As for the sheathed shield on back I don't think anyone is interested on it. Because nobody replied in my mod request. And for the sheath. I didn't say to have a second sheath for an offhand weapon, as I'll be carrying a sword on main hand and shield on offhand. I said to make the one-handed sword to be sheathed in the back, as the two-handed sword does. At least will I be able to do that? oh, and thanks for answering! :D

so... or you're damn smart by mentioning this, or I'm way too damn idiot for not mentioning it (probably the second xD) I'd like to learn how to create my own armor, hair styles, weapons and shields. Yes I know, I know nothing of modding and from 0 I'm trying to do the most difficults. But hey, when someone likes what he's/she's doing won't he/she eventually master it? ;) Oh, and (I know this isn't the modding request page, but I'm just saying) I'd like to learn how to create a mod where I can make the shield go to the back when I sheathe my weapon. And to make one-handed swords to appear to the back too (like the two-handed). So when using one-handed sword + shield, when I sheathe the sword goes to the back as I said and the shield on top of the sword. Kinda like Link in The Legend of Zelda style ;) I'm mentioning this separately and not generally as I don't know where to "put" it. I mean, is this modeling? This "scripting" thing u mentioned? (I dunno what scripting is :/) So that's all generally. thanks guys, but now I'm a bit confused :S which should I start with first? I mean, for the "tutorials" heavywaters says... It's so confusing and as far as I read has nothing to do with modding. And as for what scrivener07 said... well I have a question for you man. Shouldn't I try using 3d studio max or such programs first? Can someone send me a link of a good modding tutorial? What tools I need, the first steps etc. Because I want many mods but hey, which good modder would create mod requests? They just create the mods they want. I have no problem with that, as it's something normal. I just want to become a good modder myself in order to mod Skyrim as I want. So if someone knows of any modding tutorial for beginners I'd like you to tell me please, I'll really appreciate it :) Take care, ekimolaos

man, seriously that's a really good idea. But I think it's too huge for a modder to make, I dunno. Still it's nice, and Bethesda should have added that :/ I hope a modder sees and tries this out, but I doubt as most don't see request, just create the mods they want ;)

uhmm.. I've changed my buttons in skyrim so that "F" sheaths/unsheaths and not "R" (in case u got confused with this), sorry but I forgot the original was "R" :/

As title says, I would like to see a mod with Link's hair from The Legend of Zelda. I'd like to see just a normal mod that makes the shield to be put in the back when you sheath your weapon ("F") instead of just holding it for no reason. I'd also like to see a mod to make one-handed swords to be put on the back too, not only two-handed. But the main request is the shield. I mean come on, isn't it a bit stupid to sheath your weapon and hold your shield on hand for no reason?? oO

The more requests they see about this, the more chances we have to make them interested to create such thing. So that's good ;)

this isn't what I'm talking about. That's nice, but I just want a second sheathe while dual wielding. I said that before and I'll say it again. I know it's difficult, but with the CK everything can be done. We just need an expert modder to see this and try it out ;)
