I found the Amulet of Talos that shortens time between shouts at 20% I'm sure there are more powerful amulets, or perhaps rings to be found.

Yeah, the high elf are very limited when it comes to face paint. I've redesigned a couple new ones for the nord, I might look into it tomorrow, if I have the time.

I've had Faendal since first setting foot in Riverwood(?) and I'm level 21 now, so he's been around. He has died on me a couple of times, but it's not too big of a deal, since loading an old save can "resurrect" him. :happy: *damn frosttrolls* :rolleyes: He is good with bows, and the Dwarwen shield/sword combo I've given him has saved him quite a few times. Plus he wears whatever armor I give him. I belive that some of the followers can't change armor, right?

I have only found about 8 beard textures - but it looks like they are the longer hairy viking style ones. Anyone know where the shorter stubbles, mustaches, etc are located?

I don't think the whole dual wielding thing is done properly. Tried it for about 2 minutes, and since blocking is out of the question, it's not useful at all. Too bad. You can even block with the torch, for Azura's sake. They should have stamina deplete at double rate, instead of removing block.

There's ebonyarmorbodym and ebonyarmorbodym_m. If You are tweaking the m_m one, i think you are changing a shader file - not the color. Try it with the ebonyarmorbodym.dds file.

Have you saved the file in the correct location, as the right filename & fileformat: DDS 1 or DDS 5?

Yep, swapped the mouse buttons. Sometimes I whack Fendal on the head, trying to heal myself though. But it's way more logical to have left button for left hand, and the other button for the other left. ;) Good tip on the shouts button @natelovesyou :thumbsup: Edit: Original poster: you should do a poll, to keep an eye on this.

I found some of the default designs a bit dull, so I tried to make some badass designs, worthy of a character that cracks dragonskulls for breakfast. #8 doesn't really work as I planned, so that'll have to get a makeover. #10 - I just wanted to see a Lobo design, but I guess, he'll have to get a makeover too.. Now, if only there was a proper way to change your character ingame, without ~showracemenu. I think you need to favorite the spell, and use a shortcut for that - say, #2= Healing So, press 2, you heal - press 1, Iron Shield. As for the favorites (F) and favorites list (Q) - From my experience they are best left unchanged. I oblivion I had mouse 3 mapped to switch between 1st and 3rd person, but that key doubles as favorites in skyrim - and if I change it to mouse 3 then the favorites aren't responding. Change it back to F and it works. :confused: As for hotkeys, check out this Youtube video. He has a couple of tips: 3 minutes in, he talks about the hotkeys. Hope that helps

I would love if the third person playermodel (and animations) was used in first person, instead of a pair of floating arms. (A thing that always have bugged me in Bethesda's games) - Shadows would be a nice bonus. :)

I suspect that has to be implemented in the game engine. If it isn't there already, I would assume it's bloody hard to do.

Seriously, how much harm can Steam do? It's very useful when it comes to patching games. I guess you can activate Skyrim on another pc, and then run in via a shortcut or something. I can think of a few things that are worse than Steam. Like Facebook for example, that tracks your movements on the web even if you log out. *grabs tinfoil, makes complete armor* :) Cheer up, I hope you will get to play it, eventually.

I've read somewhere that if you use showracemenu, it disables steam trophies. I don't know if anybody cares about those, though. :) Oh, yeah - Hi everyone, this seems like a nice little forum you have going. :woot:
