  1. This is solved. If any moderator wishes to delete this, by all means do so. Thanks.
  2. Okay, just installed TTW 3.2 using mod organizer 2 and I can't seem to get the option for MCM to show up in the pause menu. Is there some conflict with these mods and MO2? If not, can anyone instruct me as to how to properly install MCM using MO2?
  3. Porting of assets between games isn't allowed. The armor would have to be modeled/textured from scratch.
  4. I'm sure these will get done eventually, once animations become a little easier to work with. Of course, you know they have to hand model and texture every one of these, right?
  5. It's really very simple. You obviously only see something as having value if there is a price tag attached to it. To the person who created that mod (and really, it should be all people who use said mod considering the amount of pleasure they derive from using it) it has an intrinsic non-monetary value. Modders do their work for free. This much is true. All they ask in return is a little respect for their work. Whether or not a modder should get upset over their work being "shared" across a platform should not be up to people who had no hand in creating that mod. They've contributed nothing, yet seek to tell someone who did what they can or can't be upset about. If someone thinks a particular mod belongs on Bethnet and the mod author doesn't want to port it, rather than taking someone else's work without permission, maybe they should get off their lazy asses and make their own.
  6. Fair Use is an over and improperly used idea. As defined by Stanford.edu: "In its most general sense, a fair use is any copying of copyrighted material done for a limited and “transformative” purpose, such as to comment upon, criticize, or parody a copyrighted work." Unless you are writing a review or parodying someone else's work, you run the risk of copyright infringement. Whether or not you profit is irrelevant. When someone creates something, they have a right to choose where said thing can be found. If they did not give permission to have their work placed in a mod for Fallout 4, then you cannot do so. What if the painter had moral misgivings about the content of the game and did not wish their work linked with it?
  7. So, how can you use Codsworth's voice if Codsworth doesn't say any of the things you want him to say?
  8. Sorry, but I can't say that the time travel one is even slightly immersive. If you had a time machine, I would think the first thing you would do is go back and stop your wife from being killed and your son from being kidnapped.
  9. In many ways, Old World Blues is the measuring stick I use for the entire franchise. It was goofy, yeah, but underneath it all there was this bitterness that really captured the sense of loss the Great War engendered in the people that came after, especially those that knew the U.S. as it was in its glory days. Anyway, getting off track. To OP, wasn't trying to knock your suit. Just running my lips. It looks great.
  10. The software is being developed by google. No, it is not available to the public. It's not even ready for actual production use. When it will be, if ever, is anyone's guess. https://techcrunch.com/2016/09/09/googles-wavenet-uses-neural-nets-to-generate-eerily-convincing-speech-and-music/ http://www.theverge.com/2016/9/9/12860866/google-deepmind-wavenet-ai-text-to-speech-synthesis "WaveNet isn’t going to be showing up in something like Google Assistant right now — its step-by-step processing system requires a comparatively huge amount of computing power."
  11. A direct port would be against the rules. Whether or not a hand made outfit based on copyrighted material would be acceptable depends entirely on how close you make it to the original, what you name it, etc. The closer you get to the original, the closer you get to infringing on an individual or corporation's rights. Nexus has a strict policy against infringement, so it is best to keep creations moderately vague. Still, most hand made items will pass the test if history has taught anything.
  12. That's funny. Fallout is a game that is (supposed to be at least.) deeply rooted in the Science Fiction B movie premise. Giant ants, mutants, huge clunky robots...I mean, come on. It's 2 parts Logan's Run and 3 parts THEM! Or at least, it used to be.
  13. You already made the models? That's a whole lot of work when you're not even sure you can get it into the game. I'm sure someone will pick it up eventually if that is the case.
  14. This thing is fake. I imagine Beth just saw the hoax and the idea stuck. Just like they tend to see old mods and the ideas just stick to their new games. http://kotaku.com/meet-the-man-who-keeps-making-up-fallout-4-rumors-1580095136 Of course, what you choose to believe is up to you.
  15. As far as melee only is concerned, all you would have to do is go into the creation kit and uncheck the "playable" tab on all the guns. Then you couldn't use them.
  16. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9422/? Cross Cybernetics Exoframe?
  17. You do realize that on the very same page you linked to was a link to a nexus version of that armor, right? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17956/?
  18. How do you propose the SS gets there exactly?
  19. .... for ps4 where it is still not 100% certain if mods will be available at some time. like i predicted. Now i am glad that i saved lots of time not uploading any ps4 mods You called it sir. You win! Go to Bethnet to get your internet cookies.

  21. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're looking for, but I suppose you could give this a look. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12631/?
