  1. You could always use the Fallout4ConfigTool (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/102/?). This will give you lots of options to edit your .inis while keeping the files read-only (so the launcher doesnt resets any changes). There is one option that add the complete line of mod folders to your fallout4.ini.
  2. Use the 'Fallout4ConfigTool' (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/102/?) launch it anywhere (as administrator) and select 'set as default launcher' under the 'Settings' tab. You can also edit some parts of the .inis with this tool without changing the files from read only.
  3. Playin on fullscreen or borderless windowed? Defintly will try your setup.
  4. Yes for the UI there are parameters in the .inis (and it should be easy for modders to change positions of icons and such maybe even with simple text lines in the.ini) but not for the scopes as far as I know. They are most likely just fixed textures that might only change for resolution.
  5. Ok, this looks like an issue that is unlikely to be resolved by .ini tweaks and more likely to be fixed by adjusted texture/overlay mods. So unfortunately I'm out of my depth here with my limited to non existent modding knowledge ;D.
  6. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix it but I think the visual effect is the one used for the recon scopes (the one you use in the last image) so it looks like the effect somehow got stuck. Does it have that on older saves to before the bug started? EDIT: Just went in game and took some screenshots of the recon scope, does this look familiar? :D : http://imgur.com/a/Z4FB9 So do you use any SweetFX plug ins and or mods that change textures/meshes etc?
  7. Well, so does the game start after that? And are non of the mods working ingame?
  8. Well, there couldĀ“be an explanation for this, but first of all it would make sense to start a new character to see if it's working at all and verify game files just to make sure it's not something wrong with the files. Also does it work with older saves? If so it could be that this is somehow related to the quest 'Confidence Man' which involves the host of the radio station. And if I remember correctly when doing the quest/having the host follow you, the radio station is silent (which would make sense).
  9. More info needed: - Resolution - FoV changes made - screenshot would also be very helpful to determine what 'break' exactly means in this case
  10. All this uninstall/reinstall shouldn't always be necessary: 1. start by uninstalling all mods and manually delete all left over files (like .esp files and the'texture','mesh' etc. folders) in (...)/Fallout 4/Data. 2. delete the .ini files under (...)/Documents/my games/Fallout4/ and all files under C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Fallout4 3. move Savefiles and or delete them from the original folder 4. validate game files 5. Start the launcher and make sur it automatically detects you settings. A normal uninstall reinstall mostly fixes nothing as the files causing problems are left alone as they are edited/added and will still be active after the new install. If something is corrupt and causes a CTD It's much more likely to be one of those lose files rather than an actual game file that cannot be repaired by verifying the game cache.
  11. You have to give a bit more information. First of all this looks like the power armor parts are stuck directly to your character. How did this happen? Does equipping/unequipping clothing/armor change anything (try to unequip the power armor in the inventory menu) ? Do you use any mods that alter anything power armor and or normal armor related (like the Power armor quick exit mod or the more armor slots mod)?
  12. That's what I meant when saying 'in-game VSync' I used the 'Fallout4ConfigTool to edit the .ini; - doesn't have much options but always sets the .inis back to read-only - has a 'Play Game' button so it's perfect for tsts like this where I switch between borderless/fulsscreen Vsync lock on/off
  13. Ok, didn't know about limiting to 58/59, I will try that. I will try to limit the frames with RivaTuner and will try out how the ENBoost forced VSync and the ingame VSync effect the performance/stutter And somehow even with all VSyncs off I don't experience any tearing, in fact since I got my new 1080p (60Hz) monitor I never had tearing issues (unlike with my old 1600x900 59Hz monitor <- was a pain in the ass to avoid tearing for that one). I will post my results here. I will have to try out more but wil definetly stick to the NVIDIA VSync as it makes the fps drops so much less noticeable (aiming down sights and looking around at 50 fps feels like 60fps). If anyone has more suggestions feel free to post and I will try it out ASAP.
  14. Try these variations (not sure if it will work): 1. select your character -> 'setessential 0' 2.'setessential player 0' 3.'player.setessential 0' (all without the '...' -marks of course)
