  1. It can take a few days. I have actually starting looking at this but I forgot to reply, sorry. I'm not sure I can fix it for you without a web developer helping directly. I'll respond to your email Monday when I know more.
  2. Your PC is probably a 64 bit one. Pretty much all PCs made in the last 10-20 years will be. The x86 version is for a 32 bit machine. Which is why it wasn't working.
  3. The latest update for Vortex has fixed this issue.
  4. That actually won't work here. We don't need to see the bundled extensions
  5. Considering this is only happening for the two of you, I can only assume it's something your two systems have in common or something is very broken in both of your setups. The first thing to try would be to go to the "Extensions" tab in Vortex and disable all extensions in there, reboot and see if it still happens. If it doesn't then you must both have a faulty extension installed.
  6. I've moved this to the Fallout 4 forums as it's not an issue with Vortex and the game not starting is something to do with you mods.
  7. What you describe above is a known issue and has a simpler workaround. Here's the info: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/issues/15679
  8. This isn't caused specifically by Vortex. You can test your connection to our servers here: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/92-im-having-download-issues-what-can-i-do If you can download via the browser but not via Vortex then something on your PC is blocking it from working correctly.
  9. The solution to this is documented in the pinned thread here:
  10. This is a known issue. For the last few weeks during the beta phase no user who had a space in their Windows username must've tested the update. A fix is incoming.
  11. You should be able to just update F4SE or start the game via Steam instead of Vortex.
  12. Workaround for Baldur's Gate 3 LSLib .NET Runtime issues If there is an issue with your .NET 8 installation, you may encounter issues when Vortex parses PAK files for Baldur's Gate 3. This is due to LSLib/Divine requiring .NET 8 specifically. A solution is available here:
  13. Something on your PC must be wiping the AppData folder - this doesn't ever happen the way Vortex works normally. Edit: The only possible way for this to have happened is if you put your mod staging folder inside your Vortex install folder. Vortex will try and prevent you from doing this. Did you install Vortex to a location outside of Progam Files? Where was your staging folder located?
  14. This probably means your .NET 8 install is messed up. Try this thread:
  15. Click the "Join Community" button at the top of the page.
  16. This is almost certainly a problem with your browser config. Please see this help page: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues
  17. Can you send me the link? I suspect something goofed up. I have looked into this. It's actually just a quirk of the system. These accounts were spammers these bans aren't meant to even generate a thread.
  18. Try turning off GPU acceleration in the settings. This kind of thing is almost always caused by rogue GPU drivers.
  19. Looks like the fix didn't make it into 1.11.2 either, 1.11.3 will be hitting the stable branch today which will finally put this issue to bed! Sorry for the confusion.
  20. You may need to ask the extension developer: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/375
  21. This error is "bubbling up" from the driver/operating system and is not caused by Vortex. It's either a hardware fault, a driver issue or something on your PC interfering with the normal operation of Vortex.
  22. I'm fine for people to tell me off if I did something wrong. However, a lot of these knuckleheads post things like this:
  23. User's response to this ban. More childish ranting.
  24. This post seems to be becoming a target for off-topic conversation so I'll lock it for now. If you have other questions, please use the Site Support sub forum.
