Pickysaurus's post in Skyrim Special Edition Vortex keeps saying wrong folder. was marked as the answer
You can update the game locations by going to the Games tab, clicking the little + on the tile and select "Manually set location". Vortex finding the wrong location may mean that you moved the game without properly doing so via Steam, so your Steam library still points to the wrong place.

Pickysaurus's post in No Hardlink Deployment was marked as the answer
If hardlink doesn't appear it simply means that for whatever reason your current config doesn't support it. Either the game and staging folder aren't on shared drives or the drive they are on won't allow it. It may even be a permissions issue of some kind within Windows.

Pickysaurus's post in am having problems with starting sky rim was marked as the answer
There's likely a problem with DLL file in the title of that pop-up. It's not a Vortex problem though, so you may want to ask on the mod page that file came from.

Pickysaurus's post in Vortex Skyrim Install from file bug was marked as the answer
Mods that (unnecessarily) check if Skyrim.esm is enabled in the FOMOD are currently bugged.
There is already a topic about this here https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/11124078-vortex-155-incompatibility/?view=getnewpost

Pickysaurus's post in Switching to the application was marked as the answer
This sounds like a problem with NMM (which we no longer support, and haven't since 2016).
You can manage Vortex's download settings in the Settings -> Download tab.

Pickysaurus's post in My Vortex seems corrupted was marked as the answer
Try going to %appdata%/Vortex and delete the "themes" folder. You likely have a custom theme installed which is corrupted.

Pickysaurus's post in Mods download, i click install, but they don't manually enable. was marked as the answer
Check your settings in Settings -> Interface -> Automation.
You have provided very little information so I can't help you further without more details.

Pickysaurus's post in How to add mod to profile of game that's not being managed anymore? was marked as the answer
Yes, you can download it with Vortex and it will just sit there waiting for you to manage the game again.

Pickysaurus's post in Game location doesnt exist was marked as the answer
If you have nothing installed mod-wise you might want to go to %Appdata% on your PC and delete the Vortex folder. This will reset everything to default which may help undo any weird settings that have been applied.

Pickysaurus's post in I/O Error 21 at every startup was marked as the answer
So Origin likely left some files behind.
https://modding.wiki/en/vortex/developer/game-detection#originea-play
^ In C:\ProgramData\Origin\LocalContent there will be a .mfst file pointing to that location.

Pickysaurus's post in Starter Dashlet Not There was marked as the answer
Hmm, thanks for the screenshots.
Are you running a custom theme, the slightly enlarged fonts would support that? If so you can you try reverting to the default one?
You may also want to turn off "Nexus Mods account banner" as that seems to be filling the entire dashboard in your setup for some reason.
A regular dashboard screenshot would look like this: https://i.imgur.com/JrMyX4U.png

Pickysaurus's post in Plugins Tab Missing was marked as the answer
Check the "Extensions" tab for anything that is "Disabled" or "Failed". Anything starting with "Gamebyro" needs to be enabled.

Pickysaurus's post in Vortex not displaying properly was marked as the answer
Ok, try going to the AppData\Roaming\Vortex folder and delete the "Themes" folder.

Pickysaurus's post in Vortex doesn't recognise that manually installed file is one of the latest version was marked as the answer
This is related to how the uploader decided to upload their files. You can only mark one mod file as the latest. You can use this extension if the icon is bothering you: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/171

Pickysaurus's post in Vortex endorsement not showing on nexus was marked as the answer
It can take a few minutes for your actions in Vortex to reflect on the website.

Pickysaurus's post in Archive invalidation is nowhere to be found was marked as the answer
Skyrim SE does not need archive invalidation, so the option does not appear. If the BSA files need the dates updating Vortex will send you a notification when you first manage the game with a "Fix" button.

Pickysaurus's post in Need help desperately. was marked as the answer
I've hidden RumblestrutPig's unhelpful reply. I believe you have been able to resolve this yourself based on (what I assume are) your comments in the support Discord server.
Basically, somehow your mod list got corrupted (there are many possible reasons for this) but when you deleted a mod that updated it and may have automatically fixed the issue - or the mod you removed was causing the problem.

Pickysaurus's post in Extension updates issue was marked as the answer
Just delete them from the list if it bothers you.

Pickysaurus's post in Vortex graphical issues was marked as the answer
Turn off GPU acceleration in the Vortex settings. It's your GPU driver causing this. -
Pickysaurus's post in Vortex Supported game not found was marked as the answer
You need to click it in the games list to download the extension. It is maintained by a community developer and must be installed before you can use it: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/272
