  1. Pickysaurus's post in Question about possible Vortex app feature was marked as the answer
We won't be building this into Vortex, but it may be possible to add it to our new app when that is fully developed.
  2. Pickysaurus's post in need help. /AppData/Roaming/Vortex/skyrimse/mods/ and recovering from a massive cluster---- was marked as the answer
You should never remove these files manually, it should be done in the Vortex UI.
If you want to do this in batch Ctrl + A, Ctrl + Click and Shift + Click all work in the mods table.
  3. Pickysaurus's post in Nexus can't check for skyrim mods was marked as the answer
Please manually install the latest version of Vortex over your current install to fix this.
You have a super old version that cannot auto-update.
  4. Pickysaurus's post in Issues after moving to new Drive was marked as the answer
You have a very, very old version of Vortex installed. Please update to the latest version and try again.
  5. Pickysaurus's post in how do I change the game store where it launches the game from!? was marked as the answer
Go to the Games tab, find Subnautica, click the little menu on the card and select "Manually Set Location". Pick the folder for your Steam install and restart Vortex once it has been accepted.

  6. Pickysaurus's post in gameid is not defined, when trying to add a collection to vortex. was marked as the answer
This is a fault with the Warhammer 40k Darktide extension (as noted in the second line of the error).
You can report it here: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/684
Alternatively, you should uninstall it from the Extensions section.
  7. Pickysaurus's post in Vortex not working subnautica was marked as the answer
If you're getting an error in-game that isn't a problem with Vortex it'll be some kind of issue with QMM. You may want to check the mod pages you're using for advice.
  8. Pickysaurus's post in Error with Vortex Dowload was marked as the answer
This was most likely a temporary issue related to a site issue on the day you posted this.
  9. Pickysaurus's post in Creating Custom "Mod Types". Marking files in archives to not deploy. was marked as the answer
It's not something you can do in the UI, but Vortex is open source so you can contribute the required changes if you're a developer.

  10. Pickysaurus's post in is there a way to access deleted mod archive? was marked as the answer
Any archived file can be downloaded if you know the IDs for it. You can aks the mod author on their page to un-archive it if you don't have this information though!
  11. Pickysaurus's post in I had some questions about mod download. was marked as the answer
This doesn't appear to be related to Vortex, please see this article for further help: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/92-im-having-download-issues-what-can-i-do
  12. Pickysaurus's post in Reconsider to add "drag-and-drop plugin" as an "Advanced user" option? was marked as the answer
If you really can't live without this feature, please upvote it https://feedback.nexusmods.com/posts/15/drag-and-drop-load-order-for-bethesda-games
  13. Pickysaurus's post in Help Managing games was marked as the answer
If it's not there, it's not installed. So download the file manually from the mod page and drop it into the "Drop Files" section on that page.
  14. Pickysaurus's post in Vortex wont start up was marked as the answer
If your Vortex setup is entirely broken, you should delete the Vortex folder under %Appdata%\Vortex to reset everything.
This will "forget" all games/mods/settings you have and you may need to manually clean up your game folders.
  15. Pickysaurus's post in The Hardlink deployment installation method is not available was marked as the answer
Go to Settings -> Mods and move the staging folder to the same drive as the game.
You also need to ensure you're doing this on an NTFS hard drive (not an external drive).
  16. Pickysaurus's post in Mod Installation Error: Support Request was marked as the answer
Bannerlord support is a community created extension. You can ask about it directly here https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/875
  17. Pickysaurus's post in Help! Downloading mods via Mod Manager Option open the incorrect Mod Manager! was marked as the answer
This is not related to Vortex. You should ask on the page for the tools you are using. Only one app can be registered to handle sire downloads so you'll need to look at how you can reset it for your specific app. Vortex supports both Fallout 76 and Stardew Valley so my recommendation is to use it instead of the third party tools.
  18. Pickysaurus's post in Vortex flickering was marked as the answer
Try turning off GPU acceleration in the Vortex settings.
  19. Pickysaurus's post in I am getting Error on al mods I´m trying to install was marked as the answer
Your .NET 6 install is broken. Please see this pinned thread for the solution:

  20. Pickysaurus's post in Vortex does not register Steam is open was marked as the answer
You can start the game manually, but this error implies that something is broken with your Steam install. The message isn't from Vortex, it's from the game by the looks of it.
  21. Pickysaurus's post in [Starfield] Vortex deploying to wrong folder was marked as the answer
You should not be manually putting things in the staging folder. You should install the mods via Vortex to ensure they are processed by the installer code and deployed correctly.
  22. Pickysaurus's post in I can't find mass effect 3 lengendary edition on the vortex game searches it only shows Andromeda was marked as the answer
Mass Effect games are not supported by Vortex you need to use ME3Tweaks.
  23. Pickysaurus's post in script merger 6.5 (cant detect any mod to merge, or even show up) was marked as the answer
Make sure you click "Deploy Mods" and check the bell icon for any important warnings.
  24. Pickysaurus's post in Duplicated version numbers for mods was marked as the answer
There isn't really a solution I'm afraid. You can look at the file IDs in the info panel (double-click the mod) and those will be unique.
  25. Pickysaurus's post in Extension Failed To Load was marked as the answer
This is answered in the pinned solutions thread.
