  1. Pickysaurus's post in GTA 4 extension for Vortex missing? was marked as the answer
It's not missing, it doesn't exist. Someone who is familiar with modding that game may want to make one.
  2. Pickysaurus's post in same download speed with premium then free was marked as the answer
This isn't a Vortex issue, but you can see the troubleshooting advice here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5322760-reporting-download-problems/
  3. Pickysaurus's post in Vortex Error was marked as the answer
Go to Downloads -> Open Download folder

Then go up one level to the list of games.

    Delete the folder called "Site"

    Restart Vortex
  4. Pickysaurus's post in Vortex Game not found was marked as the answer
If the game does not appear in the "Games" tab, then it is not currently supported by Vortex.
  5. Pickysaurus's post in Vortex infinite loop to update extension was marked as the answer
Remove the extension download in your downloads folder under "site". I could've sworn this is already fixed in the latest releases though.
  6. Pickysaurus's post in Windows 11 compatibility was marked as the answer
I have tested Vortex on Windows 11 personally (I'm a Microsoft Insider so I got it early). I can confirm it works fine. The only difference is that the corners of the app are now rounded instead of square, but that's just cosmetic.
  7. Pickysaurus's post in question for the devs - "reset" vortex was marked as the answer
You can unmanage a game from the games tab. This removes all mods and profiles.
  8. Pickysaurus's post in How to fix this error? was marked as the answer
The parallax shader mod (mentioned in the message) isn't compatible with Skyrim VR. You either need to update it, remove it or make sure it is the version for Special Edition (not Skyrim 2011)
  9. Pickysaurus's post in Lifetime Premium Throttled? was marked as the answer
You are not being throttled by us. It's likely a connection issue. Please see this help page for troubleshooting: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/92-im-having-download-issues-what-can-i-do
  10. Pickysaurus's post in "Failed to start game through launcher" was marked as the answer
You can generally start the game directly. If Vortex can start it via the launcher, perhaps the launcher application isn't running?
  11. Pickysaurus's post in Vortex login/registry not working was marked as the answer
I would guess there is something wrong with the security settings on your PC, perhaps anti-virus apps messing up Vortex's ability to connect to our servers?
  12. Pickysaurus's post in Super Slow Downloads In Vortex was marked as the answer

  13. Pickysaurus's post in What did you guys do to the nuxus? was marked as the answer
I can't tell from your post what you issue is, please see the post linked above and start a new topic with more detailed info.
  14. Pickysaurus's post in Downloads Not Showing Everything in Folder was marked as the answer
You may find this extension helpful: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/224

You need to find the downloads in Skyrim SE and change the "Game" attribute to include VR. This extension does it automatically for new downloads.
  15. Pickysaurus's post in Anyway to report a site bug to the Nexus staff besides GitHub? was marked as the answer
9/10 times when something goes wrong with the site it's caused by the browser configuration of the reporter. Please see our help page for general tips here: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/113-troubleshooting-website-issues

If that doesn't work you can create a post in the appropriate forum here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/117-feedback-suggestions-and-questions/
  16. Pickysaurus's post in How can i mark version in vortex? was marked as the answer
Vortex will pull the metadata from the Nexus Mods website if your mod is hosted here. This works best if your using the Vortex download button on the mod page.Â
  17. Pickysaurus's post in how do i change my profile prefences? was marked as the answer
This isn't a Vortex issue, your account looks fine though. Email [email protected] if you're still having issues.
  18. Pickysaurus's post in Vortex wrong target with Stardew Valley was marked as the answer
The fix has been applied and will be part of the next Vortex release.

  20. Pickysaurus's post in Vortex cant launch was marked as the answer
Sounds like your Vortex database is completely corrupted. This doesn't happen under "normal" operation but can be cause by failing hardware, overprotective security apps and more. Try renaming the %appdata%\Vortex folder to %appdata%\Vortex_old and see if it starts up properly (all your mods/customisations will be missing, but changing the folder name back will undo it).
  21. Pickysaurus's post in Vortex doesnt recognize 64-bit Stardew Valley exe was marked as the answer
Looks like someone took a shot at updating the SDV extension for 64-bit. Not sure if it's functional though...

  22. Pickysaurus's post in A JavaScript error occurred in the main process was marked as the answer
If you factory reset your PC, make sure you do all pending Windows updates before installing Vortex. I believe the C++ redistributables are included in the updates and will fix this.
  23. Pickysaurus's post in Find Prerequisite Mods to Currently Selection Mod was marked as the answer
If you create a "requires" rule between the two mods this may do what you are asking.

Make sure you have the "Dependencies" column visible, drag the icon from one mod to the other and in the pop-up you can choose "Requires" from the drop-down menu.

Then if you disable the mod that is the child dependency you'll get a warning like this:

  24. Pickysaurus's post in Slow Download Speed was marked as the answer
    Hi emanto,

If you're having problems with downloads, please see this help article: https://help.nexusmods.com/article/92-im-having-download-issues-what-can-i-do

We need all the info requested there posted in the appropriate forum to look into it for you.
  25. Pickysaurus's post in Legendary [NOT EGL] was marked as the answer
If you deliberately choose to use an unsecured bootleg version of an official game store I'm afraid we can't really support you. I'm glad you found that mods do still work, but as for Vortex working with "Legendary" that's something you'll need to work out either yourself or with help from the Devs of that app.
