Fallout 76 is not a game that we officially support, so I don't know the ins and outs of it.

You can find an option for this under: Settings -> Workarounds -> Allow symlinks without elevation

It's probably best if you reinstall Skyrim outside of the Program Files directory. Installing games you want to mod to a protected system folder can cause these issues depending on your PC security/AV settings.

Looks like you may have shut Vortex or your PC down while it was installing a mod. I would suggest you manually delete the "D:\Vortex Mods\skyrimse\aMidianBorn Book of Silence SE COMPLETE-35382-1-9-1-1593501570.installing\" folder and reinstall that mod.

I checked with Tannin about this. If you're on the beta track it should always offer you the newest version, regardless of it being a beta or stable build.
 
What may have happened is that GitHub was having some kind of issue when Vortex requested the latest version so it didn't know there was an update. If it happens again though it'd be interesting to try and debug the problem.

This is not a Vortex bug. All Vortex does is process the SKSE log and present any errors it finds.

We're actually already working on a system like this. It's planned to be akin to Steam's Collections.

Check the top-right bell icon for messages from Vortex. It's probably unable to deploy your mods and will offer a solution.

This looks like a mod rule cycle. not a plugin cycle.
 
Which version of Vortex are you using?
 
You need to decide which landscape texture mods you want to use and then try using the "After all" option for those mods in the "Manage Rules" window. (Provided you have Vortex 1.4.6+)

You managed to spot in the 5 minutes it was like that. It should be back to normal now :)

Try reinstalling your mods. Then verify that they appear under StreamingAssets/Mods in the game folder :)

If you go to the plugins tab and select "Reset Masterlist" it should fix this. It means the LOOT integration won't work correctly.

Settings -> Interface -> Automation contains some settings you might find useful here :)

We're actually in the early stages of testing Valheim support. Initially it was being worked on by someone in the community but now are team are looking into it too.

That's just the plugin.txt or loadorder.txt. Vortex marks it when it's the last app to modify it.

Does that folder exist at all? It sounds like Vortex updated the Bannerlord extension but you may have got a corrupted download of it meaning the info.json is missing.
 
Try deleting the C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\plugins\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord support-90-0-1-1-1585574611\ folder and see if the error goes away.

Analysing the forms inside your plugins is out of scope for Vortex to do. You can use external tools like xEdit or zEdit to view/compare records.

Sounds like Vortex is trying to install an extension update but you already have the file in your downloads folder.
 
I would suggest going to your downloads folder, then the "Site" subfolder and delete anything in there. That may prevent this issue from occurring.

I believe this issue was caused by high load on the website last night. It should be normal again now.

You can't use Hardlinks because the SSD the game is on is using a FAT or ExFAT file system. Your friend would need to reformat the drive as NTFS in order for it support the links.
