  1. Huh, I thought there was a resist cap just like in Skyrim. Okay, so what if I wanted to have 90% damage resistance in one category? How much armor rating would I need?
  2. What the title says. Is there a mod out there that raises the damage resistance cap above 85%? I have mods that give an insane amount of armor points and I wanna be as tanky as possible without being cheaty.
  3. Problem's already solved. I just transferred the game from an external drive to the SSD on my desktop. Fallout 4 runs perfectly fine now.
  4. Happy to know that my EVO is above the standard. What's the absolute best SSD for my system? I'm hoping to one day build my own computer from scratch.
  5. What SSD would you recommend nowadays? The one I have is fast just like yours and I think I'm able to install a second one.
  6. Yep, transferred all the files back into the internal drive. It basically solved this entire conundrum. I guess my external drive will be used as a backup save then.
  7. Ah Ah, shucks. I figured downloading the game on the external drive was going to be an issue. Well, my SSD is powerful enough so, thank you anyways!
  8. For your first question, I guess I'm playing from the external hard drive. I've downloaded Fallout 4 onto the drive because it takes way too much space in the internal drive. For your second question, it's what I've mentioned in the original post. The stuttering and freezing occurs most often in outdoor cells, especially in the city areas.
  9. If you're referring about the graphics card, it's 6 GB. For the 20 GB of RAM, I shoved an 8 GB DDR3 with three other 4 GB DDR3's in my desktop RAM slots. This is mostly for Minecraft related stuff (you know, shaders, texture packs, etc...)
  10. I have the game downloaded on an external hard drive while the mods are on my desktop's hard drive. If anything, I think now the external hard drive is part of the problem. It is about as old as Fallout 4 itself. Here are the specs: OS: Windows 10 64-BitCPU: Intel Core i7 4790RAM: 20.GB DDR3Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060Desktop Storage: Samsung SSD 860External Hard Drive: Seagate Backup+ SL SCSIWill definitely do some disk cleaning and error checking!
  11. I'm not sure where to put this topic. These lag spikes have only caused a CTD once but they are ever present. On average, the duration of these lag spikes last from a few seconds to almost half a minute. I've narrowed the cause of the lag spikes to the Armorsmith Extended mod... which is a shame because a lot of mods that use an AE plugin are also the causes of CTD's. Thankfully those specific mods have a "No AE" option which rectifies the CTD errors. Still, even with LOOT and manual load order sorting, I still haven't found the exact cause of these lag spikes. I will be doing further troubleshooting but, for now, AE seems the most suspect. So, what is happening to my game exactly? Severe lag spikes and stuttering when traveling through cells. Game appears to freeze completely but does not outright CTD.Most severe in urban areas and outdoors. Lasts for several seconds to almost a minute. Also just as severe when there are many NPC's existing at once. More specifically, NPC's with modded leveled lists. MS Azalea, for example, caused a lag spike just as intense as if I was walking towards Libertalia.Least severe in interiors or in enclosed areas like Diamond City. Lasts for a very brief moment or simply nonexistent. I have a few mods in my load order that may also be contributing to the lag spiking: Unique NPC's (with HD-DLC replacer): Enemy NPC's seem to take a second longer to load in if I sprint into their cell faster than the game expects. When they actually do load, the game does the exact stuttering as described above. This is a likely suspect.Super Mutant Redux (No AE): same as above. Likely suspect. The High Resolution Textures DLC. Even with my "beefy" computer, the high-res pack takes a toll on the loading times in some areas, especially in the urban areas. I've toned down the graphics to the absolute minimum, so this DLC should not be a likely suspect. It might just be my computer, but I'd appreciate some guidance on this. I hope this all made sense. I also hope that I am not looking in the wrong direction.
  12. Essentially what the title says. For some reason, a number of spell effects are distracting to me in a way. Some mix between non-immersive and outright distracting. It's completely just me but I'd like to know if there was a way or a mod to remove those effects from the hands. In the same vein, I'd also like to know if there is a mod out there that makes you completely transparent when using the Invisibility spell. I didn't ask for translucency - I asked for invisibility!
  13. Hi, I'm completely new to Unity and DSTools. I've only undertaken this prospect because I want to see how the Red Guard takes on places like Senpou Temple and Sunken Valley. I've followed the steps in the dstools github page to the letter yet I feel like as if things are missing from the imported maps. Namely, how to identify what the names of the maps are and also how to identify enemies. If this is the so called Sekiro map editor, then this must be some pocket of hell. If this is what modders go through everyday, then I have hella respect for them. Any help appreciated. I just want to spam those Red Guard rocketeers everywhere. Thank you. Edit: just realized how vague my issues were in this post. Here's what I'd like to figure out: Many pieces of level geometry are missing. The Scene only depicts the background objects like the distant mountains and buildings. I have what I believe is the Ashina Castle map, but only the buildings and some miscellaneous objects are present. The ground is missing as well as many other interactables. In a similar vein, nearly all NPC's and entities are missing or invisible. Not even a low resolution model is present. How do I center the camera to an object or an entity? I want to find the Red Guard gunmen but the camera always orients itself way too far from the actual entity. I can't seem to zoom in close enough with the scroll wheel. The lighting darkens at certain points of the Scene. When I go to the distant Senpou Temple, the entire area darkens completely.
  14. I wanna see a mod where Mr. X's chase theme is replaced by SA-X's chase theme and his footsteps replaced by SA-X's footsteps. I mean seriously, they both technically play the same role in their stories! The role of "the near unstoppable, scary-footsteps, protagonist hunter." And then also... X!
  15. I have nearly everything I need to play the headless horseman role, going around chopping up people and people's heads with the Grognak Axe. I still need a mod that can make my player character's head (or anyone's head, really) unseen so I can truly fit my role. I haven't found any "headless player" mods in the Nexus, so I'm asking here. Any mods out there I haven't seen?
