  1. Hi dear modders! Just like the title says, remove bottom from Champion Pauldron, please. That would be a great addon to Elden fashion. Thanks!
  2. I'm quite sure that vanilla game hides hp & ap bars, ammo counter, critical meter etc when not in use. Only elements of hud that are always on are crosshair and compass. Just removed all my mods and generated new ini files to see If any of them does something that makes hud fade out, and it still does. Looks like it is in fact a vanilla feature.
  3. I'm using def_ui with custom made preset and I would love to keep my hud from fading away. Console command, ini tweak or mod, just about anything will help. Any help appreciated.
  4. Want some challenge? Install SkyUI + SkyRe + Dual Combat Realism Hardcore + Deadly Dragons with Deadly Creatures. Run game on novice difficulty (to start with). In MCM (that comes with SkyUi) find Deadly Dragons and change their combat behaviour to never land and then add them + 1000% to stats, + 150% to melee dmg, + 300% to magic dmg, + 100 to armor, + 25% to magic res. Change them so they could be up to three dragons in single encounter. Now go to Deadly Creatures and in each section add +100% stats, + 150% melee dmg and +300% magic dmg. Gratz, now your game is more challenging and unforgiving than DkS series. And the AI is better too! Hard to believe eh? I'm playing on that setting plus many more mods that make this game an truly immersive and rewarding experience like Frostfall, Realistic needs and diseases, Warzones, Sands of Time and Locational Damage. And of course some purely graphical and atmospheric mods ;>
  5. Felling rewarded and having fun are very subjective hmm... Experiences? Anyway. Referring to design. I would rather keep them as simple and lore-friendly as it is possible. Gigantic (like 6 foot tall) bow with single string (again, look at DkS series and their Greatbows) with single string and maybe some X-wing like bows with crossed strings for dwemer and deadric versions. PS: I beat this game 3 times already using those difficulty settings. And I have more mod that adds to overall difficulty, like deadly monsters (set to do 150% melee and 300% magic dmg) Locational Damage, Frostfall, realistic needs and diseases etc. So I guess I'm just THAT type of person. Well... What can I do... :P
  6. For example, I'm using: skyre + duel combat realism hardcore + deadly dragons (i gave dragons + 1000% stats, 150% melee dmg, 300% magic dmg, 100 additional armor and set their combat behaviour to never land so they will land only if they are already heavily wounded) So fighting them is even harder that fighting bosses in Dark Souls series. They finally feel like a challenge, you know, like every dragon in every other game. My point here is, no one is playing on vanilla Skyrim, well... Maybe some casual's do ;) As to that whole hard to get thing. What I meant was to make them difficult to craft Like for example, basic Iron Greatbow would require something close to 10x firewood, 5x iron ingots, 1x corundum ingot, 1x bear pelt and 20x leather scraps. Just to make you really rewarded when you managed to craft one. And Arrows would cost hmm... 2x Iron Ingots for 10 Greatarrows? I think that it should be reasonable.
  7. We already have mod very similar to what you are suggesting. Since Balistae are pretty much oversized crossbows you should look up this Siege CrossBow Collection. They are hardly lore-friendly though...
  8. I found mod called Greatbows Collection - Warbow Mod. But it isn't really what I'm looking for. Bows there are to small, load to fast, look to normal and you can move while drawing. Nah, it has to be something different. Bigger than a longbow (not wider ;p), with custom but lore-friendly look. Just take a look at DkS and DkSII greatbows... Also, those bows would have to be hard to get and they would require whole new branch in archery skill tree. So much work... I would be one of the best mods on Nexus if done properly. Shame that I don't have any modding skills... So sad ;c
  9. Idea for an superb mod. Set of greatbows! Dark Souls style gigantic bows which deal tons of damage and stun opponent on every hit ( or make him flying away ) but it takes 3-5 seconds to draw an arrow and you can't move while you are doing so. Also they require special ammo.
  10. If someone would just lower or even flip position of war-axes and war-hammers and made it compatible with xp32 skeleton, dual sheaths redux and maybe reversed bow placement I would be so damn happy. PS: If you guys want to see some good and proper ways to sheathe and unsheathe two-handed swords just take a look at The Witcher game. It looks really cool there. Someone can made a mod with similar animation to add some of that Witcher coolness to Skyrim.
