  4. Yeah I don't really get why Gamepass code is suddenly so different from Steam code... There's a utility to convert Steam saves to Gamepass, half tempted to get Gamepass for cheap and give it a try but I'd imagine it won't magically fix my save.

  7. The Bethesda community manager Christian Van Hoose reached out to me on Twitter and asked me to send him the save the loaded ok and the first one that didn't and he said he'd pass them onto the team so hopefully something positive will happen, we shall see!
  8. Went back to the 4th December save that loaded normally but it quickly became super slow loading unfortunately, just saved in Akila then loaded again and took a good 5-10 minutes. Checked taskmanager and it was showing zero drive activity:
  9. 36mb or so, the last one that loads normally (16 seconds from 4th December) is 34mb. I've progressed very little in the main story so I'm a long way from being ready to NG+ sadly

Unfortunately I wasn't aware of the age old bug that you need to keep making new save files, I kept saving over my old saves and suddenly it's now taking 20+ minutes to load, which makes the game pretty unplayable because I'm not going to put it onto easy or play in god mode or something! Don't suppose anyone knows a solution please? It's been confirmed broken by the new patch, there's another one coming early next week that should fix it: Update from Daniel Vavra https://twitter.com/DanielVavra/status/973868415294345216 There is a workaround, you need to modify WHGame.dll as per here https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/391?tab=files then in your user.cfg put this: wh_pl_randomeventsdebug 1 wh_pl_randomeventscooldownsenabled 0 wh_pl_randomeventbasechancerunoffset 1 That should fix random encounters as long as your save was created pre 1.3.2 eg this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/340

  15. For me it was the no npc greetings mod and roads are dangerous that stopped the game working after the 1.3 update.

Obviously not what you're asking but you could do this yourself using this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/31 you can adjust how visible the bow cursor is, I use it set like this: http://i.imgur.com/E1JnzPNl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/i6aK2y2l.jpg You'll need to view the image in full to be able to see it! Very discreet dotted circle, you can increase/decrease the size, thickness, change the colour, switch to a cross etc. etc. great mod IMO. I play on PC using a PS4 controller and I have the toggle for the crosshair set to the spare PS button so whenever I need the bow I just toggle the crosshair :)
  17. I haven't tried that ModManager workaround but logically it should work. The mod.manifest isn't compulsory right now so not really worth bothering with, in fact it can cause more problems than not if it doesn't allow the correct version, this issue happened when 1.3.1 followed 1.3 very quickly and mods had to be updated to add .1 to the mod manifest which was a bit ridiculous!
  18. Removing zzz isn't necessary no and mod merger isn't compatible right now.
  19. You gain XP now in archery contests after 1.3.1 :)
  20. Be very careful "forcing" incompatible mods to work, I just discovered that zzz_no_npc_complaints.pak causes all of my saved games to no longer load, fortunately by trial and error I narrowed it down to that single mod and removed it and now they load ok :)
  21. There are huge issues with clipping, all areas from character models into each other to every piece of weaponry/clothing, there's no way they could possibly fix most if not all of them, sorry :(

  23. Steam users didn't either until they made one (or downloaded the first mod which used the new format and had the Mods folder in the rar!)
