  1. Appreciate this reply, helped me fix my issue! Switching from Ida/Valkyr combo to FSM using a combo of Ida/Valkyr/Vanilla finally fixed my different colored face/body issue. Installed it incorrectly the first time and ended up with the brown face issue, thanks to this post I was able to figure that out lol.
  2. Just an FYI I'm back on FO4 and have resumed the learning process! It'll be a while before I'm up-to-speed again but if anyone is interested in joining the project please send me a PM. I still have a ton of content (over 7k words on the doc to-date) and will be starting work soon as possible on various ideas (smaller related mods leading up to the full project). Any feedback or suggestions in the meantime are appreciated. Wik - Another FYI, no longer in touch with Dazzer or Doom (they seem to be somewhat inactive these days), so expect an edit of the OP as some of the details re: the project have changed.
  3. Sorry to say I got out of Fallout 4 a while back and work on this was discontinued. I wasn't able to get the necessary people to cover the coding end of things and I got busy with work. I may be able to pick it up in the future but at this point it's dead in the water. Certain original aspects of the story I wrote for this add-on will find their way into a novel/comic I'm working on, that's about it for now. I appreciate the interest though, and should anyone capable of pulling off this kind of work want to take over the project I would be happy to contribute to the written aspects (storyline, quests, dialogue, etc).
  4. Only you could make me drool over a M1911 lol.
  5. Ever since updating from 1.3 to 1.4 Piper's head has changed color (significantly darker than her body), is there any way to fix this? Update - Found it was tied to the Atomic Surgery mod, which worked fine from base version up to 1.3. Not sure why it only affected Piper, as Cait and other characters affected by the mod still appear fine. Reinstalling the mod fixed the issue.
  6. Having the same issue since updating from 1.3 to 1.4, no clue how to fix it. Was fine before this last update.
  7. So now that I've figured the other part out I'm having a bigger issue. Trying to combine use of the USAF Bomber Jacket standalone with the Spartan Risque Pants, and converting both to the new body preset I'm using. I converted the pants to the new body preset in BodySlide, then converted and edited the jacket in BodySlide/OutfitStudio. However, for the life of me I can't get the pants to load into OutfitStudio, the nif reference points to modcrate.nif and that's obviously not it, and there's no nif file for the pants themselves other than the Spartan Body which also doesn't work. When wearing both items on the new body preset the texture of the pants fragments into the legs. The pants alone (along with the Spartan harness and top I also modified to the new body preset) work fine, and the jacket alone also works fine. It's only when I try wearing both that the pants go to s***. When I tried to follow a NifSkope guide to combine the two pieces into a single top-bottom clothing item I ran into an issue with NifSkope failing to load in both cases. Neither one seems to have a valid nif mesh file (failed to load file header, failed to load nif). If anyone could offer some help I'd appreciate it.
  8. I can't seem to find info or a tutorial anywhere on how to change body presets for your character once CBBE is installed. I've been using the CBBE curvy preset, even used the Hardbody mod for a while where all you had to do was activate it and it modified the body accordingly. However, despite there being tutorials for installation of CBBE/BodySlide itself, as well as how to modify items to presets, I can't seem to find *anything* regarding swapping the body preset for your character. I downloaded this preset and tried messaging the author 3 days ago with no reply yet, so was hoping to get help here. I downloaded and activated the preset in NMM, I can see it in the SliderPresets folder, however it doesn't show in the BodySlide presets dropdown list for editing items nor can I find the 'playercharacterassets' folder mentioned in the installation instructions or any way to get my character's body to swap. My character still has the CBBE curvy body in-game, is there some setting or step I'm missing? Appreciate any help. Update - Well that figures, this was one of those times that finally, after days of tinkering with this on and off... only after posting did I figure out what I was missing lol. For anyone else confused; I had to apply the preset to my CBBE Body first (in the Outfit/Body dropdown list). /facepalm Then I just saved the preset and applied it to the groups for CBBE/Clothing/Armors to get it to show up in the list for editing items.
  9. One small step for Fallout 4 modding... one giant leap for AWESOMESAUCE. New AHK script I wrote for lighting up a cig as a step towards integrating a smoking mod to the arc. Get your smoke on people! http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11170/?
  10. Yessir, she lights up when activated and flicks it away when deactivated. Just like watching Desdemona or a similar female NPC. Also, given the fact that it's using the vanilla console command it works for both male and female. I've just never played a male char yet lol. Cool! I remember the New Vegas smoking mod which was pretty good, the one thing.. or well two things that bugged me about it were the lack of "color" in the animations (as in the animations weren't very.. well, animated like they are in FO4), and also it kind of bugged me that your character wouldn't automatically pitch the cigarette when you prepared to "move out". Otherwise it was a pretty cool mod. Yeah this is all vanilla animations so no issues. If all goes well DOOM and I will get this smoking command ported into a chem mod format, as I have some uses for it in the Ashes to Ashes arc.

  13. Ok, I got the AHK script working now. It's a bit clunky to watch given the delays/sleeps involved, but it works GDI lol. Use F8 to toggle smoking on/off, blamo done. *drops mic*
  14. lol right? I'm working on the AHK script... the main problem initially was getting the console to open. I was finally able to figure that part out so it now opens and closes the console properly and sends commands. Edit - Ok, toggle function works fine and I got the enter key working so it actually sends the string. The only issue still remaining is again the inconsistency. It seems to randomly send different parts of the activation string, so "player.caf animflavorsmoking" results in only parts of that showing up in console, never sending the full command. I tried breaking it up into two lines with delays, but getting the same results. I've gotten numerous results of failed animflavors due to the player.caf part not making it into the sent string. Edit part Deux - I changed it up a bit, switching to the move script shenanigans at the top for recognizing Fallout and such. Seems to have fixed the inconsistency issue. Updated code below, now the result is repeatedly "mflavorsmoking" being sent instead of "player.caf animflavorsmoking", while the off switch sends "player.caf" properly. Here's what I have currently if anyone has an idea of how to get the full string working...
