  1. > it wont let me click the submit button to, im assuming make it go away Care to upload your screenshot to imgur.com, and post a url here?
  2. I think, in my opinion, about 30% of mods are created by non-english modders. (Recently, nexusmods is becoming "se"xusmods because of these... example: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74382/ ) In the new webpage design, please try to > 1. Split English | Non-english mod clearly. Yeah there's a "tag blocking" function, but some authors are just ignore tagging so this is no effect. > 2. Or/And, add some translation of nexusmods' webpage itself. example: https://prism-break.org/en/ العربية Català Deutsch ελληνικά Esperanto English Español فارسی Suomi Français עברית हिन्दी Ido Italiano 日本語 Nederlands Norsk Polski Português Русский srpski српски Svenska Türkçe 简体中文 > 3. Allow non-english user to post their comment in non-english format. (POSTS) What do you think? I'm tired to see other people complaing "English?" "translate" or something... It'll be great if you, nexusmods.com, can split them clearly. A. "All description must be written in English. No F*ing exception." OR B. "You can write it in your own language, however, you MUST tag your mod JAPANESE, otherwise we will DELETE it."
  3. Post a mod link here. Which mod are you talking about? Is this related to you? http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3914101-cant-download-certain-file/
  4. http://209.197.7.139:9091/n2x4r7s4/cds/110/100xxxxx/Modname.......... BTW, TCP 9091 is a torrent port. I wonder what's nexusmods doing...
  5. I'm having a same issue. When I click manual download, it redirects to: http://(IP of nexusmod server):9091/(xxx)/xxx... I repoted the mod with "Broken Download" reason to let the moderator know about this.
  6. In response to post #35643667. #35643992 is also a reply to the same post. See my reply above. There's not bitcoin payment at this moment.
  7. In response to post #35630357. #35630877, #35634887, #35635242, #35636402, #35637432, #35643577, #35643987 are all replies on the same post. If so, try Cloudflare. It offers free SSL certificate with good cache. CF is good solution to reduce traffic.
  8. Mr. Snowden says we, internet users, must use adblockers to protect themselves. I never turn off my adblock. It's not about hate nexusmods.com, it's all about security. In recent days, advertisements network were hacked, and used it as a "malware-distribution platform". What will you do if we infect a zero-day virus from Advertisement, downloaded while visiting nexusmods.com? Nothing, right?
  9. In response to post #35630357. #35630877, #35634887, #35635242, #35636402, #35637432 are all replies on the same post. If you use Paypal, the merchant(in this case nexusmods.com) can know your true name and address, and also email address. If you become anonymous, you must convince nexusmods.com to accept BitCoin. Also, I don't like to input anything on HTTP website, come on it's 2016, you can get a free certificate from LetsEncrypt.com, so why not use HTTPS on every webpage nexusmods?
  10. Short Story: How about adding "Steam Verification" on new registration webpage? Long story: I'm releasing my mod on the Internet and I got some PMs from 'pirates'. IIRC, I also got almost same PM via nexusmods PM system. I know nexusmods.com blockes these 'pirates', so how about adding this system to kick out them harshly? > 1. User add his/her ID when registering. New registration page example: ---------------------------- Please enter your Steam ID number: [ 7xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ] Please select what you wish to access on this nexus: [ Fallout 4 [V]] > 2. Your server make a GET connection to Steam: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7xxxxxxxxxxxxxx/screenshots/?appid=377160 (appid will change) If "Fallout 4" is exist, return true; elseif connection failed, return false; else false; > 3. Nexusmods: "ID Verified, thanks for registering" or "Buy it now." Benefit: 1. It's easily to track nexusmods' user by looking at "Steam ID", which is not easy to change. 2. It's easy to ban illegal users from the nexusmods(e.g., re-registered pirate). What do you think?
