What makes the old design superior to the new design? list down pros and cons, just stating its chaotic, ugly & non intuitive is not a solid case to convince me the old one was superior to the new one let alone the owners. I'm one of the early 90s kids who grew up when advancement in the internet was being made at a amazing speed, old nexus looks like a site from the 2000s patched with modern functionality. Redesign is required every now and then to alleviate the servers which is running with new code to reduce cost of servers and make the site backend run much faster, also this is the dawn of the new generation of people growing up, its their age, their design style. If people are against change and stuck with "if it aint broke, dont fix it" mentality, humanity would never progress.

Think about it, nexus has way more users than this, there is only 250 comments about the design, 50% of it are against the design.

This represent the people who hate the design. This is the other faction. This is me.

I agree with @loveblanket, since joining in 2011 the old site feels like a design that is common on older websites from the late 90s, and it makes nexus feel old, while the new design is keeping up with the current trend/design that is acceptable in this era, i'm sure the design team is going to improve the current iteration which is already way better than the old one.

New site looks neat and modern, the old one feels rather dated for me. I feel like i'm not really missing any feature and its just a matter of getting used to the new layout.
