  1. Hi everybody ! I have been invastigating for several days a very annoying issue. I have a quite heavily modded skyrim, which is stable (the Helgen sequence is ok). My issue is that doors with levers, chains and other triggers won't open. The first grid in Helgen's Keep for example (the one Hadvar opens). The chain is animated, there is the sound of the gate, but no animation. For the Gold Claw quest, the puzzle door just creates some dust but there is no animation. If I totally exit the level and redo the whole level's path, I find the door open. There is no exception. It concerns all the indirectly opened doors. Is it a script issue or an animation issue ? What can I do to fix this ? (I precise using no clip is not a fix for me, as I have followers who would be stuck behind the closed doors).

  3. Really, thank you for this post ! It's clarify a lot of things and remove some worrying. I am just hoping that the "Thank you" (mixed up with "let's surf on the wave") from Valve is sincere. If things are and remain as you explained, why not. And wait and see. Because for now, the implementation is not good enough. But I am totally on your side ! Go to Spain now !
  4. AI mods are basically just number tweaks in various gamesettings or combat style packages. And theres no such thing as a responsiveness gamesetting so what you're asking for doesn't really exist. also DUEL doesn't change any dodge or block settings, you might just be experiencing a placebo effect. I have a few other issues with DUEL too. the block mechanic doesn't work until you invest in shield wall so shield wall ends up being a perk that nerfs the players blocking. theres a lot of random dirty work like a dirty edit on he player character and leftover entry points on various perks. the stagger system is RNG based, the description page never mentions that some of your combat perks have been rigged to deactivate at low stamina. and the cloak that is used to distribute stagger scripts causes minor bloat not a mod I would recommend to others. Yes we saw this. Consequently to your review, the author quit for modding...
