  1. On a positive note, this is the calmest I've seen the chat in like a year.
  2. I'm currently in the chat and it's working okay on this end but there is only 8 people in it and when I clicked to see if there was any issues, I saw the same error Bloo did.
  3. Same here, first then I did when I got on my PC was try to enter chat, I keep forgetting why that tab isn't open, second nature to be in chat now. The amusing part is, I hardly contribute to the chat.

  5. Yea I did, this might be what I'm going to stay as for a while though. We could use the forums, although it will take quite awhile to get used to posting on them... at least for me.

  7. Thank you so much, I can't believe of all the combinations I've tried I didn't try that one. I have made at least 20 different helmets via that tutorial but I guess I never removed only the BSLightingShaderProperty. Thanks again.
  8. Any chance you can mention the steps you took to do that? As I probably will want to edit more in the future.
  9. All I did was I selected the element of the horns and removed it. I've retried it several times to no avail.
  10. There isn't any _0 or _1 versions, it's just one nif. Removing the horns brought the helmet down in vertices quite a bit but if you look at the last image there is no issues with the vertices but the helmet isn't remotely close to being attached to the head.
  11. So I decided that I wanted to remove the horns on the Stahlrim Light Helmet recently and I've not had much issues with performing the task and things. As I have successfully removed the horns via 3ds Max 2012 64bit, and I followed this guide http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L40qoiuUXL4&feature=player_embedded and I'm using the correct plugins from this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/40209/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D40209&pUp=1 file. I followed the guide extremely closely, although the guide was before the CK was released, I believe I have everything set as I needed and this is the result http://i.imgur.com/XUf8BrS.jpg. I'm quite pleased and I probably will touch up the textures that seem a bit out of place but I'm quite pleased how it looks in Nifskope. However, I have come across a potentially game destroying issue. While in game or the creation kit viewing this helmet completely crashes both. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but I know it has something to do with how it is set in Nifskope. I have run into quite a few issues already with importing and exporting .obj and .3ds files before I ended up following the tutorial and doing what it says. I'm wondering if anyone has an idea what could be causing this issue or provide help in anyway. My slow progression - 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> CTD
  12. I don't know what it is but I seemed to always get stuck with the dumb constant battle music glitch. My stealth indicator would always be showing as detected and I would not stop hearing battle music and I was getting really frustrated and I ended up finding a fix for it, at least it fixed it for me. Open up the console and type player.SCAOnActor it's really that simple. The whole code is RefID StopCombatAlarmOnActor. I haven't tried it yet on some followers that seemed to be forever looped in combat but I believe this would also fix that issue too. This post is to help anyone that had the same issue I did and hopefully it helps anyone who's searching for a solution to it. I should note, it may take a short while before the combat music ends.

  14. Recently I've been having this horrible issue where my followers just follow me around and watch me do everything without helping. I had UFO installed, and I thought it was the problem so I went and uninstalled it, after dismissing my party members and talking to Tina the Firefly. After all was done, I had one follower, a custom one. At first when I started up she actually attacked enemies that were hostile to me for about five minutes and then she called it quits and decided she was going to watch me die and only intervene if she was attacked. So I got fed up and added the mod Amazing Follower Tweaks, which is kind of similar to UFO, a little more basic but it has a lot of settings and the ability to view AI settings. Upon viewing my followers AI settings I noticed under "Assistance" it was set to "Helps Nobody". In the console I typed "getav assistance" with the reference id selected and it stated it was 2 which should mean that my follower helps allies. I changed the other settings in the window like aggression and morality and they changed. I'm quite sure that the follower mod is accurate and there is something else interfering even though the mod that adds the follower is the last to load. Has anyone else run across any issues like this and has anyone fixed this issue? I will post further details if necessary.
  15. Turok 1-2-3 where good. From Evolution and on they started becoming bad... I didn't liked Dino Crisis though. These weren't dinosaurs,they where supernatural dinosaurs. I still think that that T-Rex wasn't a normal animal but a beast made by Devil in hell... Anyway,the newest good game with dinosaurs is Primal Carnage. But it's only online,doesn't have a single player mode. http://www.primalcarnage.com/website/ But why not also in FC3 ? Sure... If someone can make them and they don't look like ass. :) Exactly what I said it, the entire Island looks like it can have dinosaurs on it and as for Turok and Dino Crisis, aside from being on consoles I don't have, they don't have the same mechanics as Far Cry.
  16. I know it's going to take a while, and it would require a lot of work but this island needs dinosaurs. I know I'm not the first to think of it but I saw it wasn't a request yet so here it is.
  17. I found a solution to fix the same issue, I posted in this thread what I did. I don't think this is the only way to fix the bug, there are probably more mods that conflict with Hearthfire than this one. I just know disabling this mod fixed it for me. The most likely problem is that there is a conflict between one of the mods you have downloaded with spawn locations in the Windstad Manor and possibly the Dawnstar Hall. I hope this helps out anyone.
  18. After I saw that the conflict could be spawn issues I disabled one mod, Real Wildlife - Skyrim, and now Windstad Manor appears for me. When I activated the drafting table and created the small house layout I was able to see the roped off area where the house would be built. Hope this helps anyone else.
  19. HI! First of all, thanks for reply. This thing is getting weirder and weirder. I was able to build and completely furnish Lakeview Manor, but I'm still having the same issues with Windstad Manor and Heljarchen Hall .... I had no issues at all with Lakeview, Heljarchen Hall though I could not get the Jarl to offer me the Giant quest so I couldn't get it. Windstad Manor I was able to buy the property but nothing shows up. I've looked everywhere for a solution, yet I couldn't find anything. There must be another mod or two that effects the same area as the Skyrim Distant Terrain mod. Although I checked all the major terrain mods that I have downloaded and there was no one else reporting any errors. I think I'm going to start disabling every mod one by one. I am not looking forward to this, since I've been avoiding doing this for four hours now.

  21. I have the same issue. Lakeview worked perfectly but I'm having trouble with Windstad. I have the exact same issue, I tried console commands so I could get resources to build past everything and it still didn't work. Not even the Misc items appeared. Are you referring to the Enhanced Distant Terrain mod? I tried disabling that and it didn't work. Anyone have a solution?

  24. Kind of the tale, myth and legend behind Obsidian Caverns. Story Time In all my years of adventuring I have never come across a place so mysteriously untouched and as vast as they say it is. Although mostly it's just rumours and tales, these Obsidian Caverns do exist and the entrance is just North of Riverwood. The entrance to the cavern has a small trace of human presence itself, although we had to kill a few bandits holed up that were preying on Riverwood supplies. The bandit camp we took as our own while we set up torches to the walls. The darkness seems to drain the light from the fire, I believe there is more to this Obsidian Cavern than the mystery around it. Exploring the passages of the entrance alone could break a man, through the twist and turns we ended up loosing a man who stumbled into a nest of Frostbite Spiders. The deeper we went into the passage we eventually stumbled into a corridor descended deeper into the world. There we came across a small path through the rocks and into this great huge cavern, the cavern from the tales. We set up a few more torches against the rocks, while looking ahead one of our party members fell, we heard the scream continue on downwards until it met an abrupt end. From deep within the cavern, a low bellow echoed in reply to the scream. I must say, I have face thousands of creatures in my time adventuring and I have never fled a fight, but the sound that came from that creature, haunts thoughts to this day. We fled that cave and passage, we left out treasures and our courage in that cavern. I do not regret leaving my riches inside that cavern. Just a small little excerpt of the story.
