Thank you for all your replies helping me get fallout 4 working again, I download all the Vivid landscape mods, ENBOOST/Shadow Boost get an average 55-60fps dips down to 45ish in settlement building. Game is running better than ever and no CTD for the 2 hours I've been playing. So even if I get some random CTD along the way it's now playable and enjoyable. Thank you so much!

Hey thanks for the reply Jimmy, I was looking at installing the Vivid mods after reinstalling this game many many times I'm with you with it not being a mod issue. Also he mentioned to make fallout 4 use all my cpu cores I'm not too sure how to go about doing that. I'll also reinstal ENBoost and shadowboost and see if this helps! But yes I'll try the vivid mods out and see if this helps, thanks for the replies!

NMM used to do that to me when i'd install a mod it would say installed but have a red marker instead of a green check for the mod, this was fixed by completely reinstalling the newest version of NMM and running it as ADMIN.

I had this problem when they patched fallout to 1.7.15 *at the time I was dealing with constant crashes* The only way I fixed it was uninstalling all my mods through NMM, and checking the DATA folder for anything left over mod wise. Then I deleted my Document fallout 4 folder, uninstalled Fallout 4 completely and reinstalled. The problem went away with a clean fallout 4 reinstall. It sucks but to make it easier for you I'd do a fresh reinstall and get rid of the problem completely. Hope this helps and goodluck!

Unofficial Fallout Patch needs to be right under your DLC's, weapon mods*anything to do with weapons at the bottom of your load order* you also need to make a merged patch for the standalone weapons so they don't conflict with eachother. a video to show you how and put WeaponSmith extended towards the bottom above your weapon mods*it needs to load first*

Alright so I got rid of a bunch of mods, no more weather, armorkeywords has been removed and crafting workbenches. Now I'm having crashing to desktop in the same areas. One outside the Dremlin Diner when you gotta help Trudy and her Drugged up Son *coming from the Starlight Drive in* when leaving the drive in the second I get to the road *crash* I have to go the long way around just to get to the Diner. The second one I found is by the Quarry *three different spots coming in will CTD* so I just gave up on doing the water valve quest. any idea why these crashes are happening? P.s I did try the ENB-Boost but for some reason it does more harm to my FPS than it actually helps, I watched the videos, set my memory accordingly before ENB-Boost I was averaging 60 solid fps unless I was doing mass building in settlements and it was raining it would dip to high 40s low 50s. after enb-boost i was averaging 40-45fps.

No mods= No crashes Reinstalled mods 2-3 at a time no crashing so far. *updated* I swapped out True storms for Vivid Weathers,Vivid Waters and DarkerNights for Vivid weather. *updated* The cause of my crash to desktop, is happening when I installed Armorsmith Extended,Armor and weapon keywords, and crafting workbenches. Any thoughts to why this is happening?

Started a new game, and in my home I noticed the Tri folded flag is stuck in between the shelves. I've seen this in other places Items seem to be out of place, is there a mod that is causing this to happen by chance?

It's always in concord, either right when i get to concord or when i start helping the minutemen. I'll enter the area that has power armor on the roof and bam CTD. I just installed Fallout 4 again last night, deleted every mod using NMM, deleted all my saves, deleted both fallout 4 folders before reinstalling. I can mess around in Sanctuary for hours without a CTD but I can't progress through the game when I keep crashing in concord. I did just mess around with some of the mods and noticed I had Homemaker and SSEX so I got rid of SSEX maybe that's been the problem all along, I like building so I always have a lot of settlement mods.
