  2. I had a similar Idea. I dunno how it would work, but usually the game marks the last power armor that you used on the map. I think modders could use this by making this the power armor that drops down. Maybe even have a vertibird drop it down? In any case, it would make the combat much more dynamic if someone were to release a mod like this. No more walking back and forth just to get the power armor for a combat situation.

  5. Whoop! Just figured it out myself. It's quite simple actually. When you use quickbms to convert the files into dds, the name changes too. For example: geralt__h1.xbm becomes geralt__h1_DXT1.dds/.bin and geralt__h1_n.xbm becomes geralt__h1_DXT5.dds/.bin If you (like me) use Photoshop with the DDS-Plugin from nVidia, you should be able to open and save dds-files with Photoshop. When you save the file as a dds the nVidia Format Window pops up and asks you for further options. Now to the simple yet important part. If the name of your file says "DXT5" at the end, choose DXT5 ARGB 8 bpp | interpolated alpha in the options menu, next to the SAVE Button. If it says "DXT1" choose DXT1 RGB 4 bpp | no alpha. Done. You will now be able to convert it back to xbm without any bugs. Happy texturing.

  7. Hi there, I wanted to make some changes on Geralt's face and eyes, for that i first have to convert the XBM files to DDS through quickbms. Quickbms pulls out two files one .dds file and one .bin file. I use PS to edit the DDS files. After that i tried to transform it back into one XBM files through the help of quickbms. That's when i received this error message: Now here's the odd thing, with some files it works like "geralt_eye_s.xbm" and with some it doesn't like "geralt_eye.xbm". Can someone help me with that?

  9. So after finishing DA2 i was left with a bitter taste in my mouth. The game had a lot of potential. None of which Bioware used. The combat however really worked for me. It was fast and fun. But way too much of it. Now i want to go back to DA:O but to be honest the thing i didn't like the most about DA:O was the slow combat. So i wonder, is it possible to have the dynamic and fast combat of DA2 in DA:O?
  10. Far as i know Special Qunari don't have Horns. Sten is special. Not sure what you're getting at here. Sten is "special" precisely because he DOESN'T have horns. The DA Lore is that having horns is the normal state for Qunari. Those born without them are the ones considered "special". That's exactly what i was saying.

  12. So, i got myself some Windows 7, re-installed Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition. Started from the beginning. Downloaded and installed some mods. Crashed randomly, tried something, CTD at start up, re-installed. Installed the mods again but minus MMM and FOOK2, play the same character, still crashes randomly. I also restarted with a different character but still crashes. It doesn't crash to desktop, it just freezes.   14. Oh my god, wow, this is heavy. Every patch, mod and other stuff are usual uploaded to filefront first and this news ... really shocking, never expected something like this would happen.
