  1. It's been two hundred years, has it not? Mt. St. Helens here in the US as an example, the area has recovered dramtically after only 30 years. Much of the landscape would be changed almost completely from the lava flows, and massive tidal waves would have altered shorelines. Which is kind of a boon for modders, I would think, because you don't have to recreate it exactly, except maybe for a few key ruins, you would be creating something new with the same environmental elements. A post apocalyptic Morrowind. After all that time, surely some pockets of civilization would have sprung up in Vvardenfell, perhaps escaping the attention of the Argonians and the treasure hunting Nords. The Ashlanders were pretty hearty survivalist types at any rate, right? I can see some interesting stories there. Interesting doesn't always have to equal epic. To the OP: Your post got me all excited, fantastic ideas. Then I went back and read all of that depressing lore again :( But nobody said you gotta pay attention to all of it, and I'd really love to see the province again. I've got some texturing skills... [edit: almost what Iceflame said :)]
  2. Usually had good luck with Wrye Mash for Morrowind, it's found here
  3. Not sure what you mean when you say they download to your account? I would recommend that you grab the Nexus Mod Manager. It can be found here It can be a bit buggy, but for the most part it works very well. Makes installing/unistalling much easier. After you install the Manager, make sure you are logged in with the Manager and on Nexus. You will see a button next to the files that says "Download with Manager", click that and you should be good to go. This is where the buggy bit comes in... sometimes it will say file doesn't exist, try again. In the case of newly uploaded mods, give it a bit and then try again. Hope this helps.
  4. That seems to be what Empires do... Looking around the world, a few nations in particular seem to think that the answer to terrorism is perusing actions that simply create more terrorists. Maybe it's not Bethesda's writers being stupid so much as reflecting the stupidity of real world events. Or maybe I'm giving them too much credit. The game had to start somehow
  5. Agreed. Never cared much about them in the previous games, always played Bretons or Dunmer but I find myself drawn to the Khajiit this time out.
  6. Can't identify at all with Argonians. Wouldn't they freeze to death in Skyrim? Don't usually play as a kitteh either, but the extra layer of fur... It's cold out there.
  7. If you have no save before and want the quest completed so you can move on with your game you could try opening the console and entering: setstage CR13 200 UESP Purity Bugs
