  1. The way is pretty simple - not to follow the orders of Daedric Princes, and therefore not completing their quest. Most of Skyrim's missions are neutral, though. Let me demonstrate on your example. "But now I am stuck, the House of Horrors mission seems to be giving me no choice but to take an evil path and follow the will of the Daedric Lord, Molag Bal even when I have tried to reject following his path at every turn" - Molag Bal is Daedric Lord of domination and manipulation, and it makes perfect sense that he forces you to do his bidding - by You, however, aren't forced to follow his orders to the letter beyond that. "But now even though I went to rescue Logrolf the Willful" - Who is, apparently, the priest of Lord Boethiah. If you want being good, why do you mess with Daedra anyway? "I knew there was no good ways out of that mission without killing the teacher" - And left the poor kids from the orphanage in the hands of sadistic sociopath... "dont even take bounty mission that kill Giants since I view them as peaceful creatures in the game" - Who raid peasants, killing them and stealing their livestock... "been good is not an option in Skyrim thats one freedom of path the game simply does not have" - Just like real life...
  2. addspell <spell ID> Consult for ID needed here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Powers 2SubjectProphet No offense but what sort of gibberish is in your signature?
  3. There are certain quests in which companions are your obligatory followers until you finish em.
  4. An advice for necromancy users: use console to retain your thralls and teleport them to your location. Necromancy is popular, because your thralls are much stronger and more convenient in battle, then any other alternatives. In my experience, AI casters are very proficient with combining wards, restoration and destruction magic. Personally, I use aeromancers/pyromancers, not necromancers, who seem to be unable to resurrect undead when enthralled and rely on inefficient cold. And vampires, of course. These would outperform any followers.
  5. F:NV followers are ideal in any perspective when compared with Skyrim's.
  6. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Vampirism#Cure_for_Vampirism Also. It is beyond me why do the guys who don't want Vampirism can't cure it on pre stage...
  7. Basically, I'm running v 1.3 at the moment. Should I upgrade to 1.4 if I wish to use CK?
  8. I have to disagree... It all depends on what you want. If you are playing with certain magic schools for example, you would desire to avoid gaining too much levels. Personally, I always have leftover perks after choosing what I desire and leveling needed skills even with the most "optimal" race. Anyway, gaining skills at low level (from 15 to 25) yields very few exp, and eventually becomes unnoticeable when you are at 60+ or something, and also very easy to level. The really important features of races are their perks and bonuces: +50 magicka is very important for anyone investing in it, and completely useless for a pure warrior. Highborn ability or berserk state can save the day for a mage and a warrior, and inapplicable the other way around.
  9. Grab item, then release it. The damage is laughable, though.
  10. I've almost never picked any locks in the whole game and killed the Emperor by taking the key of some of his bodyguard.
  11. Markarth. Nothing better raising a sword, when there is a hefty sum of gold and silver behind it. As for the others, I'd better raise a sword for the Companions, College, or Dark Brotherhood. Neither of whom have much concern about any and all of Skyrim's cities in particular.
  12. It's perfect, that in games such as TES and Fallout there are near to no Goodies-two-shoes and comicbook-megalomaniacal-evil-psychopaths. Take Skyrim. Companions - enjoy their meed and fightings, don't care about anything else much. Mages - like knowledge, arcane and don't care if they mess up the lives of local nords' population. The college's gates are shut tight and fireballs are loaded in case of complainers. Daedra - just have fun to mess with Nirn - each in their own unique way. Stormcloaks, Empire, Dominion. Each seek political domination and to deal damage to the other two. Jarls - feudal rulers, who care about their power and wealth only.
  13. With 5/5 enchanter, 100 enchantment and +25% to skill enchantment perk, you get + 40% damage and an extra effect. 4 items can be enchanted with fortify one-h.

  15. Enchanting is able to provide the biggest increase in all fields for any build. Also, There are preenchanted pieces of dragonscale armor. Like anything else, they cannot be compared with what you can do yourself.
  16. Spellbreaker involves helping Petryte... Who... well... wants to bestow a "blessing" on the Nirn.
  17. I want quite the opposite - a mod that will allow you to create discord and anarchy in Skyrim in the name of the Aldmeri Dominion.
  18. BTW, there is one smith apprentice in Windhelm...
  19. cmon, Almost every character in skyrim has no spouse and children. What next? Will you wonder, why there are more both of bandits and rogue mages than peaceful citizens? Or how do such few peasants able to feed such large population of citizens and bandits?
  20. BTW, if you hear some of his wife's dialogs, you will understand that you are not the only one who enjoyed him dying.
  21. Maxing out sneak without enchantments seems being enough. I've run a test, with 100 sneak, 1-st level perk and vampirism, on v1.3, I was able to sneak on everyone. With +100 fortify sneak hat added via console, I was unable to sneak at all, being detected instantly. So generally, I'd say - use enchantments if they don't make your sneak go beyond 100 points. In case someone doesn't know, there is a bug which makes sneak and some other skills degrade when fortified with enchantments, instead of upgrading.
  22. Anyway, jet fighters and missiles >> dragons. To think of it, what humanity has achieved today, makes all the former folklore and mythology look like nothing.
  23. The most impressive phrase from the guards for me was "Pst! I know who you are. Hail Sithis!" Overall, Daedra dialogs are my favorites.
  24. Probably, I would be drafted for air defense from reserve. Don't expect much of a fight, though. If Alduin sneaks into our reality, he would be very, very sorry.
  25. This is a random encounter. A cow must be accompanied with its' master, who explains that he delivers a tribute to the giants.
