  1. Hey guys, I feel horrible for having to post this as I usually frown when I see topics like this, but I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place with this one. Basically, I had way overmodded my Skyrim (without NMM), and decided to reinstall the game and start using NMM for EVERYTHING so that not only can I keep my mods up to date without having to search to find them randomly to see if their had been updates I missed... but so that I can easily revert to vanilla should the urge occur. When I did this, I wrote down a list of every mod that I felt was a "MUST-HAVE" mod for when I finished reinstalling............... I missed one, and now I have NO idea where to find it. There was a mod, and I could of SWORN it was called "Bethesda Loading Screen Remover" which, aptly enough, removed the bethesda loading screen when the game first boots up. I had this mod installed since like a week after release, so I had completely forgotten it even existed in the first place. My problem now, is that I'm tweaking my graphics settings with ENB + FXAA and playing around with diff combo's of texture mods ect... while using Elys' Meminfo SKSE plugin to monitor my FPS so that I can get that perfect balance of performance / quality. The 5-10 second load screen when the game boots is actually making me pull my hair out now, as I've reloaded the game probably 100 times in the past 2 days, and I CAN'T FIND THIS MOD ANYWHERE!!! I've tried every search humanly possible to find this mod... "Loading", "Loading Remover", "Logo remover", "Logo", "Bethesda Logo", (you get the hint) and it's simply gone. Does anyone know where to find this? Has it been taken off of the Nexus site because of an issue Beth had with it? If anyone has any info, I'll give +50 internets to whoever helps... honestly, I NEED this mod back. THANKS!!!
  2. posting only after reading the first page of comments... and I'd just like to point out the following: Posters that "hate steam too": 1 liner posts on accounts with less then 10 post count. Posters that actually had something legible to say: Well thought out posts with informative content and usually 100+ posts. /thread. Trolls will be trolls, let this post die please... we've already been through this discussion / flame war like 30 times, there's no need to beat a dead horse.
  3. setscale <#> Scales size of player. Scales the size of a player. Starting from small 0.1, normal 1, and 10 at max size.
  4. go to the area right after where they are getting stuck, then use the console "placeatme" command. examples: HADVAR: prid 2BFA2 player.placeatme 2BF9F RALOF: prid 2BF9E player.placeatme 2BF9D hope this helps.
  5. Sovngarde... 'nuff said. I took like 500 pictures after the fog clears ;) yay for spoiler-free topics in skyrim general! (good thing i've completed most the quests now)
  6. It's not that nobody is generous enough to help... it's that nobody can actually do anything to help you. There is literally NO possible way to modify xbox 360 savegames using the PC console. Like I said, you are S.O.L.... not because I'm too lazy to help, but because there is NOTHING we can do to help you.
  7. just a tip... you should NEVER spawn more then 1 instance of a character in this game.... makes bad things happen, especially with followers. either use placeatme or moveto commands.
  8. they'll see it eventually if we keep bumping it :P otherwise, it will fade into nothingness and be lonely and forgotten behind the thousands of topics that actually matter.... isn't it depressing?
  9. No. You can't enchant things that are already enchanted. The perk only allows you to put 2 enchants on a fresh item.
  10. I wouldn't repost it... I'd wait for a mod to move this for you. No need for unnecessary clutter.
  11. i read until i saw the giant wall of txt, then i threw up in my mouth. learn to properly convey your thoughts into a readable forum post, else you will be hard pressed to find people willing to decipher your cryptic wall of nonsense.
  12. first step to achieving this would be to post it in the correct forum... Skyrim General != Mod Requests
  13. someone's mad they bought the game for an overpriced box of 1990's hardware, i bet... sorry, couldn't resist... i see these posts all the time... "HELP, I have a console version of Skyrim and want to mod my game because my garbage console doesn't let me manually fix this broken game!!!1111!!!1!1" Sorry bro, you're S.O.L.
  14. Old Ways? Is this a joke? Just because you can't type without looking at the keyboard doesn't mean other people can't... Memorizing the hotkeys takes a total of 3-4 hours of gameplay, and you'll never look at the keyboard again. FTR, I started playing Skyrim with a controller because I played FO3 / Oblivion on xbox... but after Oblivion I knew I should get Skyrim on PC, but I had a hard time transitioning to keyboard. A few weeks ago, I made the switch to keyboard / mouse... and I'm SO GLAD I DID... The mouse offers INFINITE more precision / speed as opposed to a controller. I won't go much further into this because I believe your statements to be bordering on trolling in regards to the controller being superior to a kb/mouse... In regards to your second question, the ports are for the battery charger, and the headset.
  15. The XBOX360 version of Skyrim was available on torrent sites 3 days before the game's release... the PC version wasn't available until like 3 hours before release.... your comments are invalid, sorry. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK, so you can import / export savegames on your xbox... and now you're telling me you can port PC mods to the xbox? Is this forreal? Like would you have to have a cracked copy of skyrim for 360, install whatever mods you want, burn to DVD, ect. ect... then play the game, with mods? honestly... since when can you mod xbox games like you can mod a PC? I'm not talking about transferring savegames here... i'm talking about ACTUAL modding. otherwise... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. never had this problem... my smithing / alchemy gear are all as follows: SMITHING APRON SMITHING RING SMITHING NECKLACE SMITHING GLOVES ect... so that I can see them easier in my inventory. Are you using caps lock or shift? I believe I had to hold shift while typing to get the capital letters.
  17. my favorite books hand down are the lusty argonian house-maid books.... whoever wrote those is genius.... I recommend EVERYONE read them if you want to honestly laugh your ass off.
  18. picture it this way: When bethesda were creating Skyrim, what sort of tools did they use to complete the task? The CREATION KIT... that being said, a given modder's imagination and dedication is the only real limit. If someone was dedicated enough, you could expect to see full expansion packs as mods (packed with new monsters, questlines, dungeons, areas, gear, ect. ect....) Models / Retextures are (almost) the only thing on Nexus so far, because those are really the only files you can mod (easily) without using the developer tools
  19. You can easily find your patch version by opening the system screen and looking in the lower corner.... for the record. Try going into your controller mapping settings and pressing the "Reset to Default" option. I've had similar key binding problems and using the built-in Reset, the problems went away.
  20. i'm not saying this in a negative way, i'm just going to tell you my opinion. I got skyrim the day it was released from my mom (i told her i wanted it for PC -.-) and traded it in the next day for a copy on PC. I don't know whether or not thats a possibility for your computer, but IMHO the PC game has a much bigger replay value and infinite possibilities. That being said, with a PC version of Skyrim you can actually DO something about your problems... since you have access to console commands / mods / ect. Just my 2c...
  21. everything you are asking can be done with a simple console command... no mods needed. except that is for the first one, in regards to Oblivion style skill leveling. That wont be changed until the creation kit comes out, in a few weeks.
  22. I play about 50/50 1st/3rd person... and I've noticed this too. Seems as though I'm getting more 1st person finishers when they should be 3rd person animations. I think the 1st person finisher animations look stupid, and they lock my screen / character after completion for about 2 or 3 seconds... and it's very frustrating.
  23. Me too :P I recently installed the enchanting table in breezehome mod, so now I don't need to go to dragonsreach anymore... but I used to do this all the time! Also, I'd rather not see that puke-face Farengar... that butt-monkey sent a hitman to attack me and left his NAME on the hit note... and he doesn't even have the balls to give me any sort of conversation options regarding it! Man, if I wasn't a frequent of Whiterun, I'd totally kill that mother lover.
  24. I just wanted to post to say that you are COMPLETELY WRONG in this statement. Shadow Warrior is pretty much the single most important skill if you want to play an assassin... and suggesting someone to not use it just because you don't know how / take advantage of it's strengths is simply wrong.
