  1. I for one agree with your comments.I have been working on a mod for three months and I refuse to ul until I am certain it works, looks great and is ctd free.. I go into CK and create a small section, then save and go into game and have a good look around. If I see any problems I came back to CK and rectify them, then back to the game to test and check. Once I am completely satisfied I start another little section and of we go again as above. I refuse to ul anything that will receive ctd reports or have bugs in it with people asking why is this or that happening, ctd, rocks in the air.I think you get the picture. As far as I'm concerned a mod shouldn't be ul unless it's a 90 to 100% perfect.I certainly have better things to do than answering questions about my mod, when I know it should be perfect.. Modders should test and play their mods until they are satisfied that they work, not ul and get other people to beta for them.We have to except it from game makers, actually we don't have any choice in the matter. They release a game and were the suckers who beta test it for them. Then they release a patch, how about get it right the first time... As for my mod I don't care if it takes me another year or more. Sorry if I seemed a bit strong but you hit a nerve. Regards..
  2. You could try renaming the file, transfer then rename back to original... As for manual installing mods always have, just need to be careful... Mod managers are okay but not perfect as yet..
  3. CK snap to grid is malfunctioning.Tried shift and q to no avail. Even reinstalled, this has only happened to me since the last 1.9 update. No problems prior to update, but I see on the internet the problem has been around for sometime.
  4. When ever ctd happens it's usually from a mod. It's a pain and a bit time consuming,my advice either disable all mods and turn one back on a time and test game. Or turn one mod off at a time and test game. Like I said a pain and time consuming, but it works sooner or later you will find the problem. Good Luck..
  5. Seen that thread and tried the suggestions to no avail.Even reinstalled same thing. Will check other site,Thanks..
  6. Just click yes to all,I get the same info and I'm sure it came with the new update. Another bug you may come across soon is snap to grid...
  7. I apologise if posting in the wrong place... CK snap to grid keeps malfunctioning, even tried Shift and Q.. This only started with the 1.9 update, anyone else had the same problem? Thanks in advance...
  8. This may help The following instructions are a simple way to move your Steam installation along with your games: Exit the Steam client application. Browse to the Steam installation folder for the Steam installation you would like to move (C:\Program Files\Steam by default). Delete all of the files and folders except the SteamApps folder and Steam.exe Cut and paste the whole Steam folder to the new location, for example: D:\Games\Steam\ Launch Steam and log into your account. Steam will briefly update and then you will be logged into your account. For installed games, verify your game cache files and you will be ready to play. All future game content will be downloaded to the new folder (D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\ in this example) If you encounter any errors during the move process or when Steam is launched from the new location, it may be necessary to perform a more thorough process: Exit the Steam client application. Browse to the Steam installation folder for the Steam installation (continuing the from the last section example, this would be the new location of D:\Games\Steam\. Move the SteamApps folder from the Steam installation folder to your desktop. Review the Uninstalling Steam topic for instructions to uninstall Steam (this must be done to remove your old Steam installation settings from the Windows Registry). Review the Installing Steam topic for instructions to re-install Steam to the desired location. Move the SteamApps folder into the new Steam installation folder to copy all of your downloaded game content, settings, and saved games to the new location. Start Steam and log in to your existing Steam account to confirm that the move was successful. For installed games, verify your game cache files and you will be ready to play. Important: If you are moving your Steam installation to a new hard drive and want to keep game saves/profiles for third party games that are not saved on Steam Cloud most of these can be found in your Documents folder: ~\Documents\[username]\My Games\. Moving this folder to the same location on your new hard drive will maintain your saves/profiles.
  9. The latest version from Steam is ( 1.9.32.0.8 ).. I don't think skse has picked up on the 0.8... skse ver is 1.9.32.... Apologises to skse, works fine just needed to delete old skse files in Skyrim main file....
  10. I can understand some people have had problems using Paypal,Credit Cards,Banks, etc etc.. It is a well known fact that the largest criminal activity is ripping people off thru the internet.. Even larger than drugs worldwide.... I have used Paypal for years and never had any problems,TIP the system I use is have an extra Bank Account with very little in it.When you need to add money to Paypal, take it from your normal account and deposit into your other account which is nearly empty...Transfer money from that account to Paypal.this way the bank information on the internet is nearly empty anyway.. I have used this system for many years (touch wood) without any problems... Hope this helps people out, because Paypal is extremely safe...
  11. @Dark0ne I usually visit this site on a daily bases and sometimes when I try to DL nothing happens, actually sit there thinking when are they going to fix this site.I have never complained about the problems on your site and I'm glad I didn't after reading the above statement, now I understand a lot more why the site has problems.I don't think adding a donation button would be fair on everyone because most people ignore them anyway or out of sheer guilt decide to donate. It's nice to see more people finally becoming premium members, that's the sort of thing that makes a site stronger.. Just a post on one problem I have for your information. I use Opera and sometimes when DLing I get a blank screen that says (bad gateway) I don't know if it's your fault or Opera. When that happens I switch to IE which most of time I have success.I don't like using IE as it is too slow and my personnel belief is still unsafe.. Thankyou for the above statement, you have clarified a lot of things. Oh, by the way it wasn't that boring more educational if anything..
  12. bangura Depends on how many mods you are running FIX... It's time consuming but works if only a mod problem. Start Skyrim without clicking PLAY... Click Data files and UNCLICK all mods,Don't Delete yet.. Now Play game and see if problem remains or has disappeared... If problem remains it could be a bad save file... If problem gone, great it has to be a mod... Now click Data folder and tick ONE mod only and play game to see if problem has returned... You need to tick (add) one mod at a time and test game until the bug shows up again... Once you have found the bug mod before deleting try moving mod down folder closer to bottom. You have to move it only a couple of steps downward... Hope this helps..
  13. Thanks for the advice, need to try a couple of other things first. If no luck will uninstall all and reinstall, and start with a clean P.C again.
