Are you guys winning?

I'm watching LOTR for the first time in years and it keeps striking me how many awesome little moments there are that I never saw when I watched it previously - and I'm sure it's only because I got so stuck into mods with Witcher 3. I'm pausing to look at sword pommels, armor designs, landscapes and Elven inscriptions. I've gone full geek. On a side note, while this series is amazing, I also find myself often thinking how GRRM really has no equal when it comes to complex story telling and immersion, not even Tolkien (or Peter Jackson). Tolkien created a rich and detailed world, GRRM did that too, but his books are a massive, intricate word puzzle that hides so many little secrets and hints to the grand scheme. I don't think there will ever be anything else like it.
