I know for a fact a lot of lore in TES games is influenced by JRRT's LOTR series. I found an image on the LOTR wiki that had some interesting weaponry. Now the weapons could be made of orichalcum but the way they're shaped makes me think otherwise. I've already done that and I don't like any of them. Right now I've settled for Rough Leather Armor, and it looks good but I want something a bit...more? I really liked the Oblivion leather armor and I'd convert any mods myself but I don't know how to skin meshes in Blender yet.

I play games casually (not hardcore). Skyrim's a bit dull now, after my nth playthrough. I use my main rig for more intensive applications, and I've dedicated it to racing games. I have a halfway decent laptop. The following settings produce the most enjoyable experience for me: Res: 1366x768 Antialiasing: Off Anisotropic Filtering: 4x Texture size: Large Radial Blur: Low Shadow detail: Medium Water: Reflect all Object fade: 15 Actor fade: 15 Grass fade: 0 (I have grass off in my inis) Specularity fade: 5 Light Fade: 25 Item fade: 4 Distant Object Detail: Medium I get about 30 to 60 frames, it rarely dips below 30. I forced vsync in AMD Catalyst Control Panel. I'm looking for mods that add lots of new content, such as additional items. I'm using Wintermyst, Randomly Distributed Items, Imemrsive Armors, Immersive Weapons, and RDO. I've deleted all of my saves and want to try something new. I've done all of MannyGT's DLCs. Never played all the way through Inigo's quest, my game always got too buggy. Can someone kindly post a list of suggestions?

Probably. It's now working fine vanilla.

Alright, loaded my latest save and it still lags and stutters. New game doesn't. The problem wasn't Windows, it's still Skyrim.

Run it in fullscreen at 1920x1080, and disable ENB and 2K textures. Set graphics quality to Medium. 2K textures make my gaming rig beg for mercy sometimes.

I haven't actually run Skyrim yet, just the main menu. So I installed updates...then got an error message and had to use System Restore...which also failed. Now I have to redownload and reinstall the updates. Jeez, Microsoft.

Satan below, I hate updates. After reinstall I have 229 updates, including Service Pack 1 and Microsoft Office updates. Hold on to that patch, it may be a long while. Skyrim and Steam run fine.

Try disabling your ENB. What rendering resolution are you ruining Skyrim at? Anything above 1080P is gonna give you a hard time with ENB.

The problem seems related to the Civil War White run lag a few people were experiencing a while back. Google search "skyrin civil war White run lag". I am reinstalling windows right now so I need to wait until I can restore my files before I test anything. A virus invalidated my windows installation. It wasn't the problem, this happened ages ago I just never bothered to fix it.

My computer has plenty of power.
